Chapter 25 - Perception

I was sitting on a table in a cafe inside a mall. I was waiting for my order and was looking at the glass seperating the hall from where I'm at. I look at the people passed by the cafe. Nothing unusual, except for that one girl dressed in an old fashioned clothes. I look at her, it seemed like she's waiting for someone, or something. I just shrugged, thinking of my orders. "What's taking it so long?" I went to the counter to follow up my order and look at the door on the way. The girl is not there anymore. She probably left. I sat back on my chair, took a bite on my donut and look at the glass again. She was there, except now she was looking at me. Our eyes were locked together. "She must have a crush on me or something." I thought. I smiled at her. She didn't respond but she continued to stare at me. I finished my food and drink just in time before the mall closes, but she was still there. So I decided to approach her. I wanted to ask why she keeped staring at me, and probably flirt a little. Hehe. I stood up. I can still see her from the glass while her eyes were following me as I walk towards the exit. When I reached the door, she was gone. That's weird. I swear she was there just a second ago. I turn around to see that everyone was gone, and there she was looking intently at me.
