Chapter 24 - The Ghost with a Knife

I work at a night shift in a convenience store which opens 24/7. Today is my first night though, I used to be on a day shift but they reassigned me. I won't be bothered by it. It's true that there had been rumors spreading all over the town about this certain store about a ghost with a knife and stuffs. You know, haunting people who comes here, killing them, those stuffs. But I am a logical person. I know perfectly well that ghosts doesn't exist. Even if it does, it'll just be some floating thin air apparitions so it can't possibly hurt anyone. Neither can it hold a knife, right? I just finish changing into my work clothes so I headed to the counter and greeted my workmate who happened to work on the day shift. When she walk out, the whole place was quiet. Too quiet. I was beginning to feel sleepy when suddenly I heard the door chime. Someone entered the store. I look at the figure. It was a man, wearing all black including a bonnet cap. I welcomed him and he proceeded to one of the stalls. I sat on the counter chair and waited for him to buy or pay. A few minutes later, there was another figure. Only this time, I haven't seen it came in. I can only see it from the convex mirror. It looks like a human, a lady, but I couldn't seem to see it's legs. Almost like it was floating. It was holding a knife and lift it above the man. It swung the knife but before it could hit him, I tried to hold it's hands but it disappeared. I felt something sharp hit me and a warm liquid started flowing all over my back. I collapsed on the floor. I heard the man said... "Trying to stop from stealing again, were you? Well the knife suits you well. Everyone will think it was the ghost with the knife who did that and they won't even notice that some stuffs are missing in this store. " he laugh maniacally before my vision went black.
