YOU ME ...DESTINY

CADENCE P.O.V

I called Donna for lunch. She was happy that I called her out from her office. I met her at the mini kitchen that I always eat my lunch break most of the time. Jaron sometimes go out for lunch or stays inside the office.

Donna's face appears as I prepare foods for us. "Hey girl, you look horrible you know." She said that to my face as soon as she enters.

I frown. "Really…?" I asked knowing that she could tell it to my face. I walked to the mirror and saw my face. My eyes were still swollen but not so.

"It is not that awful. You jerk." I say as I slapped her shoulder.

Donna laughed. "Well, if I don't know you maybe it was nothing but seeing your face as soon as I came in I see the difference." She said. "So, why are your eyes were like that? Did something happen? Let me guess… its Jaron."

I did not answer but I started eating my food.

"Did he do something to you?" she still asking me.

"Oh please, Cad, I thought you said you are over him."

"I wish I was but I think I am not. When I heard about her and saw her walked in, I feel short about myself. She is very pretty with nice body. Everything about her is wow." I told Donna what I feel.

Donna tapped my hand, "Do not be insecure. You are beautiful too even more gorgeous now since you had kids. Your body became yummy after being a mom. So stop torturing yourself with that woman. You have your own personality."

I nodded and feel relax after Donna's words of wisdom. I guess I was just jealous because I still love Jaron despite that I keep telling myself that I was over him that we are just boss/secretary relationship.

We continue eating and leave the topics about Jaron and his girlfriend. My moods came back normally without thinking the negative impact I got this morning.

I eased my mind after talking to Donna. I continue my work and focus on my purpose why I work so hard and save something.

It is not only me now it is for the future of my kids. If love I keep on hoping then I stumble with it what will happen to my children.

I know everything happens for a reason. I would not have this kind of situation if I can pass it. Everything has a purpose.
