The Messenger of Death

Chapter 275: the courier ii

The couriers were on the floor, on their knees, with pale faces and trembling limbs, shocked at what they were experiencing, and at the same time, they were equally in pain from the pressure that Alex's bloodline suppression placed on their bodies. Blood began gushing out of their nose and eyes.

One of the couriers passed out on the spot, but that didn't stop his blood from coming out from his pores.

Presently, Alex had some control over who his bloodline suppressed and its coverage. Unlike before when everyone and everything around would be affected by the pressure that came along with his suppression. Only the couriers were affected by his bloodline suppression.

Everyone behind Alex began getting up from the floor. They were a bit surprised to see the couriers on the floor, bleeding out from their pores.

They couldn't feel the suppressive nature of Alex's bloodline on them, so at the moment it looked as if the couriers were affected by a disease.

If anyone would have paid close attention to everything that had happened when the couriers wanted to use their bloodline to suppress everyone here, the only person apart from Alex that wasn't affected by their bloodline suppression was Gustavo.

He only pretended to be affected by this and none of them could tell that he was faking it. But at the moment, even when Alex's bloodline suppression wasn't being directed at him, Gustavo feared it...

-Boom!!

The ground beneath the couriers, broke once again, creating a deeper and wider crater on the ground.

The Avanti family and his teammates watched this happen and were in awe of what Alex could do. The air around his body was different like he wasn't even human.

The blue hairpin that was given to him by Nana, was removed. Alex kept it in his storage ring. His midnight-black hair fell to his shoulders before fluttering and dancing wildly to no wind. The same thing was happening to his clothes…

"Listen to what I say," Alex spoke and to the ears of the couriers, his voice was akin to thunder. It made them vomit even more blood.

They all attempted to look at Alex's face, but when they did, in their eyes, it was as if Alex had turned into a giant. Even the ceiling of the room looked as its length had been increased.

In their eyes, Alex was standing tall, with his head not far from the ceiling, looking at them with cold brown eyes that seem to have some kind of fire within them. They felt as if this fire was capable of ending them if their gaze lingered too long.

Suddenly, the heads of the couriers started to descend, slowly. This is total domination, they had lost every ounce of will they had in their bones to resist, and now they were dropping their heading, bowing to Alex.

"My king!! We were wrong, please, show some mercy." The man with a mustache, the leader of this group of couriers present in the Avanti manor, pleaded. The fear could clearly be heard in his shaky and heavy voice.

This is one of the scary abilities of the class-1 bloodline, submission. It is also why anyone bearing this class of bloodline is considered to be royalty.

Being called a king by a stranger, made Alex feel good about himself.

Just hearing the courier call Alex a king; due to the pressure in the surrounding atmosphere, even when they weren't victims of the pressure. The Avanti family, their staff, and the Seraphim team members all felt a compelling urge to kneel in reverence towards Alex.

Watching him from behind, it was as if a serene light was surrounding him.

['I didn't know that it could have this kind of effect. Who knows, maybe I'll walk to the doors of the Kawataro family, knock and then suppress all of their asses into submission. That should be easier.'] Alex thought happily.

['I won't advise you not to do that, but I will ask this. Are you ready to face what comes after revealing your bloodline?'] Xander questioned.

['Xander's right Alex. The Kawataro family is not the only enemy that we have, there is still a Dragnel that is alive and is searching for his brothers. Or should I say what remains of them? The bloodlines that they gave to us is what is left of them.'] Lex chipped in.

['If Nana could cross over from the Celestial plain realm to the Lower plain realm, what's stopping the last Dragnel brother from coming here?

And when he does, if you have exposed your bloodline, it wouldn't be hard for him to find you.

Remember what the Dragnel brothers said before they passed away, you are not to reveal the existence of their blood in you until you are strong enough to do so.'] Xander continued.

['C'mon, chill. I wasn't really planning on doing that, it was just a thought.'] Alex responded. ['Don't take everything I say seriously.'] He added.

['Who knows, we can never tell what he's thinking. He like a time bomb that doesn't blow at the right time.'] Al muttered, he made sure that Alex heard what he said.

Due to the importance of what he was doing at the moment, Alex chose to ignore Al and returned his attention back to the couriers.

"Do not speak of mercy to me, the family that you work for has already angered me beyond forgiveness," Alex replied.

"Then woe to them my king, for they have eyes but cannot see, and they have minds but fail to think. And I was the same a few seconds ago until your true spectra hit me." The courier hurriedly replied.

"Hmph!! You have your way with words. Fine, I will reduce your punishment if you give me satisfactory answers to my questions."

"Ask anything, your Majesty."

Majesty, this, at the moment is the most befitting word for Alex. His radiance was majestic and no one present could refute or deny that fact.

"Tell me, do you know of the spies that the Kawataro family has placed in the ranks of the government?" Alex questioned.

"Yes, I know most of them, if not all. I have been working for the Kawataro family for a long time so I am familiar with them."

"Are you willing to betray your colleagues?" Alex asked.

"If it is you that I am giving this information to, it will not be seen as betrayal, rather, a humble servant fulfilling the wishes of his king."

"Write a list of the spies in the government ranks and the ones in this household. And also, the ones in the severance academy." Alex withdrew his bloodline suppression and freed them from the shackles of the pressure.

Immediately, everything went back to normal. Now, the couriers could look at Alex, however, they didn't dare to.

The leader of the couriers brought out a pen and paper, he wasted no time in jotting down the names of the spies that he knew. His companions continued to remain on the ground, scared to raise their heads.

"Alex," Camron called out.

"Yes?" Alex turned and faced Camron.

Camron wanted to speak, but he didn't know what to say. He wanted to ask if Alex's bloodline had gotten stronger, however, he didn't know how to ask.

The Alex in front of him posed no majestic aura, nonetheless, they couldn't forget the majestic aura that he gave off a few seconds ago.

"Ah, it's nothing. Forget about it." Camron said.

Alex arched a brow at him and looked at him weirdly. "Since when have you been scared of asking me anything?" He muttered.

"Not that I'm scared, I just feel like I shouldn't pry into some things in front of so many people."

Alex nodded his head in agreement. "True, true."

"How are we going to be able to trust what that man write's?" Drake asked.

"Even if he does write false information, do you think his superiors are a match for me?" Alex smirked.

"Your majesty, I swear, everything I write on this paper is nothing but the truth. I will never try to deceive you." The courier hurriedly said when he heard their conversation.

"For your sake, I hope so," Alex replied.

He turned his attention to another courier that was still bowing on the ground. "One of you should sit properly, I have a few questions left." Alex intoned.

Quickly, the courier in the middle sat down on the ground and looked at Alex's feet. His eyes were shaking in fear and he was sweating profusely.

"A while back, I met a person with a goat head. Can you bring light to this for me?" Alex walked to a chair and sat comfortably.

'Goat head?' The courier wondered. He didn't catch on to what Alex was saying and it took a few seconds for it to hit him.

"Goat head, are you by chance referring to the young master, your majesty?" The courier asked.

"Duna's elder brother, yeah."

"In the ranks of the family, many of the elites possess an animal-like mask. They wear these masks when they carry out missions appointed by the family."

"And who gives these missions?" Alex questioned.

"The patriarch of the family, your Majesty. Duna's great grandfather, a rank-2 Heaven realm cultivator…"
