While George Slender prefers Renly to write the entire album, if Renly really lacks inspiration, it might not be surprising to look elsewhere. In the beginning, things went well, but Icarus was elated, and he felt proud of his flying so lightly. So fly higher and faster, get carried away, and then the punishment comes—the sun melts the wax, and the feathers on the wings begin to loosen.

Icarus has not yet discovered that the wings have been completely spread out and rolled down from his shoulders. The unfortunate child can only paddle in the air with his hands in desperation, which does not help, and falls headlong,

Finally, it fell into the vast ocean, and was swallowed and submerged by the stormy waves in an instant.

All this happened so fast that Daedalus didn't notice it at all. When he turned around, he only saw the feathers floating on the sea.

People always think that Icarus is too proud and too blind, his arrogance buried his life, and at the same time he used his life to atone for his father's murder of Talos. Renly saw a difference in this tragic figure:

Became proud because of too much love, blinded because of too much devotion, lost yourself, embraced the sun like a moth to a flame, and finally... all jade and stone were burned.

This can be seen as a tragic figure further than Don Quixote, and at the same time it can be seen as a reflection of every artist who is so arrogant, immersed in their own world, carried away, and even had wrong ideas , and then burn life to smithereens.

Renly, too.

He has created countless histories and miracles, and he has achieved unimaginable achievements, but he is lost in the emptiness and difficulties of the power structure. At one time, he thought he was Ulysses, just like Le Verne Davis of "Drunken Country Ballad", he went around in circles, and finally returned to the same place, and then kept stepping; but in fact, he was just Icarus lost himself step by step in confidence and pride.

He hopes that he can still find his way home after the vicissitudes of life like Ulysses, but at least not now - at this moment, he is just Icarus, his wings are melted by the sun, and his hands are constantly flapping. Trying to control his body was just in vain, the pull of gravity made him keep falling, so that he couldn't find his way and direction home.

From acting to music, from folk to rock... From Don Quixote to Icarus, Renly is trying to find himself in a fast fall.

The music style between folk and rock is precisely the reflection of Renly's confused state of mind - you can see clues from Renly's creation, obviously, it is not only the "Rogue One" that brings Confusion, that kind of confusion has slowly fermented and grown in the past four years, and finally bloomed under the constraints of the power of "Rogue One", from quantitative change to qualitative change, which really shook Renly's idea.

"Icarus".

After finalizing the concept of the album theme, Renly officially started to get busy, picking songs, completing the creation, and integrating the album. All the work was carried out step by step.

Unexpectedly but reasonable, Renly created more works that fit the theme than imagined - as mentioned above, this confusion is not a matter of a day or two, and musical inspiration never occurs. Lying can always reflect the most true feelings in the creator's heart.

Including the two tracks that made the night of egot, in fact, they have not been able to create until now, which itself is a signal.

In any case, Renly's life center shifted significantly, then stabilized again, and plunged into the world of music creation step by step.

Compared with the release of "Don Quixote" four years ago, Renly is definitely different now - even if Renly has only released one album so far, it is still only a cameo "part-time" singer; but As long as Renly nods, the major music companies can't wait to pay for the album.
