Chapter 186: Sibling's Relationship

Teren didn't further ask nor explain. They already had an agreement. As long as it's necessary. That's what the deal is all about. Teren wouldn't spare any method.

It spoiled the mood, however, after just a minute, it was as if nothing happened as they went back to cooking and got all flirty again.

Once breakfast is ready, even though it's already noon soon because of their 'morning activities', they sat at the dining table.

"Iesa"

Teren called, making her look at him, waiting for him to speak up.

"What should I do tomorrow?"

"About your sister?"

Teren nodded.

"Well, I was the one who suggested it so I have the responsibility to guide you to it!"

Iesa said in excitement while Teren listened attentively. While they eat, she explained-

"Since your sister doesn't really mean any harm to you and you to her, you should get your sibling relationship back right?"

"Is that really possible? I mean... after all I've done."

"It is! What matters is that she can forgive you."

Iesa pointed out but Teren was still skeptical about it.

"You must be doubting me since I don't really have any experience about this myself, right?"

"Ah..."

He was found out.

"It's okay, I'm aware of it."

She then continued.

"But I'm confident that I know more about this than you."

"You're saying as if I'm dense about relationships..."

Teren lightly complained.

"So you're not?"

"I... I am."

Teren looked away which made Iesa chuckle. Feeling sorry for cornering him like that, she stood up and sat on his thighs before tightly hugging him. She did that because partly, she had the urge to do so.

Teren didn't really care about it but there's no way he would deny a hug from her. Feeling her warm and soft skin while her light weight pressed against his thighs. Has Teren commented about it? About how plump and soft Iesa's bottom is? Maybe he's enjoying it too much.

He hugged back, of course. They then stayed like that for a couple of minutes, feeling each other as if this was their first time doing so.

"Hey..."

"What?" Teren asked back with a hushed voice like hers.

"I love you."

"Is that so? What a coincidence."

"Hehe, why?"

"Because I love you too."

"Truly a coincidence. I didn't know that."

"Then now you know that I love you so much."

They then soon began whispering to each other's ears. This continued for a while. This was the kind of scene that would make anyone envious.

Only when Iesa's stomach grumbled did they remember that they were actually eating.

"The food's getting cold..."

"Ah, right. But let me stay like this for a while."

"Hm? Can't we eat in this position?"

Teren asked which was like a golden idea to Iesa. She stood up to pull her plate near them and sat on his thighs again.

"Ahh~"

She placed a spoonful of food in front of Teren.

"This.. is actually kind of embarrassing."

"Don't say it. You're making me embarrassed too."

Iesa sharply said while her face was getting redder and redder by the minute. Teren had the urge to tease her but he didn't also want to leave her hanging like that. That's why he took a bite which made Iesa sweetly smile.

Afterward, she placed the spoon down and quietly waited. She glanced at Teren and his spoon with anticipation.

'Urgh... too cute!'

Teren felt his heart ache which was not a bad thing. He couldn't decline her. Overshadowing his embarrassment, he repeated what Iesa did and placed a spoonful of food in front of her.

Iesa joyfully watched him and combed her hair back before eating what Teren presented. As she chewed, she felt something poking her bottom.

"Eh? Why?"

She asked with a big smile, enjoying the accident.

"Urgh... i-it's nothing... it's because you would always comb your hair like that when you... so I kind of remembered."

"Geez, how can you still have so much energy after that?"

Iesa teased as she was about to make her way down to eat something else but Teren wrapped his arm around her thin wait, stopping her.

"Don't worry about it, we're still eating."

Teren said which made Iesa laughed.

"Okay, sir.... but I feel like we're talking about something important earlier."

"Ah, isn't it about tomorrow?"

Feeling it was inappropriate to talk about something serious in that position, Iesa reluctantly went back to her seat and continued what she was talking about earlier.

"So, we should test the water first. Since it's your sister, I'm willing to let you take her to a date. One plus ally is much better than having one plus enemy, right? And it would be sad if you're going to fight your sister."

Iesa said in a professional tone. She was not saying it casually, it sounded as if she had already carefully thought about it.

"Yeah, I don't really want to do that."

Teren agreed. The only thing that was stopping him was the sins he committed that made a great rift between him and his sister. It was safe to say that they were only connected by blood... not, actually, even that, Teren was not sure about it.

But the only reason they were giving this thought a chance was that Teren didn't feel any malice from Seres. However, he still needs to be careful. Just like with Lina, even those who do not hold any malice towards him can be dangerous.

There is also a chance that Seres has a special Spirit in blocking other Spirits. After all, Teren was using one. However, Teren could also sense what kind of Spirits and how many the others have. This was not a Spirit, it was a culminated ability after encountering hundreds upon hundreds of Spirit users in his past.

He could tell that Seres was not using any kind of Spirit that blocks his Spirit of Sensitivity.

All that reason led him to think that maybe, Seres have another motive. But what is it? And more importantly, what is really happening?

However, that is not the point of tomorrow's outing. He just wants to talk to his sister and if possible, know what she's actually thinking. This is a very small step in taking back their sibling's relationship but nevertheless, a step.
