Psycho X Psychic

Chapter 185: Imperfect Perfection

Before, they were sitting on the couch at a distance that one person can fit in. This time, they were lying down while their limbs coiled around each other as if they will die if they let go.

They no longer speak of anything. Not even a word of flirting could be heard. They stayed like this until they've fallen asleep.

Saturday arrived and once the sun arrived, the two of them woke up. Iesa immediately felt something hot poking her thighs. She obviously knew what it is. Her lips curled up in excitement as she released herself from Teren's grasps and crawled down.

Meanwhile, Teren just turned his head around. He didn't say that it was just a normal reaction during the morning because he's aware that Iesa is aware of that too. Internally, he wants to do it too, therefore, he didn't say anything and just let her unbelt and devour. Teren almost shrieked from pleasure as he gritted his teeth. He held Iesa's head, pushing her deeper.

Three hours later, they came out of the shower. Iesa then invited Teren to the kitchen, wanting to teach him some cooking skills while actually wanting to flaunt her 'wife skills'.

Unfortunately for her, she learned that Teren was a good cook too.

Iesa stared at Teren while he was handling the pan. There was nothing special in what he was doing but this still made her look in a daze.

The way he moves, the way he glanced at her from time to time, the way he smiled, and everything else was all captivating.

'Handsome...'

Was the only word she could mutter. She couldn't believe it either. Before, she just knew she likes him but not to this extent.

When she thought she had already reached the end but to see that there's more behind that edge. It was mesmerizing, it was wonderful. However, she got scared too.

'Are there still more to this?'

She just kept falling harder and harder that she began to doubt if will it ever stop. It was terrifying to think about it. Iesa felt that it was quite unhealthy and too good to be true.

'Perfection doesn't exist in reality. Is it in just in my mind?'

Iesa then focused on Teren's bad side. She was trying to figure out what are the things she hate about him.

Because no one truly likes everything about the other person. There are some things that are annoying and that's like the spice in the relationship. If everything is going too well, there's a chance that it's actually not going well. It's too bland and too suspicious.

However, there is a problem...

Iesa couldn't find anything she hates about Teren!

'But wait, in that logic, an imperfect relationship is a perfect relationship... what the fuck?'

She couldn't help but curse and didn't go further. It would be stupid to doubt her own doubt that doubted her own doubt. Continuing that train of thought would just lead to nothing.

'Ah, there is one!'

She found something unacceptable back then.

"Teren, I was still wondering about that time with my foster father..."

"Hm? What is it?"

"Where... did you find that child pornography?"

Iesa asked in a serious tone that took Teren aback. It was out of nowhere so he couldn't react well. But there was no need to be nervous.

"Umm, internet... with just a quick search, you can search anything there."

"I know, but to download it. Even if it's digital, illegal goods shouldn't be easy to find."

"What... are you trying to say?"

Teren found Iesa being unreasonable. Didn't he do that to help her?

"Nothing."

Iesa then turned around in a passive-aggressive manner.

"Are you angry?"

"No"

She replied.

Teren scratched his head, not knowing what going on with her.

'Is this what they say that women are hard to understand?'

"Iesa, I'm that kind of guy."

He said, not denying anything.

"Eh?"

Iesa turned to him with a surprised expression that Teren realized that he said that in the wrong way.

"No, I'm the kind of person who likes children that way." he immediately denied, "What I mean is, I wouldn't spare any method to get the best possible result."

He casually said.

"I know that."

Iesa simply replied and frowned.

'Why is he not getting angry? I'm here, complaining about something that I shouldn't. Doesn't he care that I'm angry? Now I'm getting really sour!'

Meanwhile, Teren secretly peeked and found that Iesa seemed actually angry now.

'What do I do?'

Contrary to what Iesa was thinking, Teren was actually panicking inside. But in that situation, he felt that there's one thing that he should do.

While his one hand was handling the pan, his other hand reached out for Iesa's. This made her raise her eyebrows.

"What?"

She asked.

"I... just want to hold you."

"..."

Iesa stared for a few seconds before stepping closer.

"Okay."

Before leaning on his shoulder.

"Are you not angry that I'm acting this way?"

"Is that what it is all about?"

"Uhh... I don't know, I actually forgot when you held my hand."

Iesa playfully said with a smile while rubbing Teren's hand to her cheek.

"If it's yes, I don't really know how to get angry at you. What could you possibly do to make me angry?"

Teren seriously asked. He simulated every possible scenario where she hurt him, she ignored him, she became much more unreasonable, she intentionally became obnoxious, and even if she played with other men. In that case, he would deal with the 'men' before taking her back.

Although that may annoy him, he can't really imagine her doing that so he's too complacent about it.

"Nothing comes to mind?"

"Maybe if you flirt with another man. Maybe I will get angry."

"Ehhh~" Iesa smiled widely.

"What?"

"I'm just relieved. I think I would be sad if you didn't get angry at that."

"But would you do that?"

"Urgh... I can't really imagine. But the question is, how about YOU?"

Iesa tilted her head.

"If it's necessary," Teren said.

"..." Iesa kept silent. It was a bit troublesome.

"Should I not?"

He asked but Iesa shook her head.

"No, you definitely should."

"... are you saying that because you're aware of what Spirits are?"

Iesa silently nodded.
