Hidden Wife: Best Husband

During the week that Soo Yin fell asleep, Dae Hyun was never bored to talk to her.  If the night before bed he even always read a romantic story to his wife.

Auntie Xia, who often witnessed Dae Hyun like that, always shed tears without realizing it.  Although Dae Hyun never cried, Auntie Xia could feel extreme sadness every time she saw him.

"Ahjumma, I entrusted my wife. If something happens, please contact me immediately," Dae Hyun said to Auntie Xia who was standing near the bed.

"Yes, Sir."  Aunt Xia immediately wiped her tears.

Suddenly Soo Yin's cell phone rang.  Dae Hyun immediately took it from the nightstand. It turned out that Kim Nam was now in contact with her.  Dae Hyun hesitated for a moment to answer but her cellphone kept ringing repeatedly. Until finally he forced to answer the call.

"Hello, Soo Yin," Kim Nam said on the phone.

Dae Hyun kept silence for a long time, did not answer his father-in-law's greeting. He didn't know what to say at this time.

"Soo Yin, are you listening to father?" Kim Nam said with worry because there was no answer from his daughter.

Dae Hyun took a deep breath before answering.

"Father, it's me."

"Where's Soo Yin? Is she okay?" Kim Nam asked.  He felt anxious and wanted to contact her daughter.

"Soo Yin is fine. How is Father?"

"I'm fine, I just miss Soo Yin. It's been a while since we talked," Kim Nam said in a voice that sounded happy.

"Soo Yin is taking a shower, I'll tell her later that father called."

"Dae Hyun, thank you for looking after my daughter well. A while ago we were chatting, Soo Yin sounded cheerful," Kim Nam said.

Instantly Dae Hyun's chest felt so tight when he heard what his father-in-law said.  Feeling that he has failed to maintain his mandate.  He couldn't even take care of his wife.

"I should be thankful because you have trusted me," Dae Hyun said with a heavy sigh.

"Okay, sorry if father bothered you." Kim Nam felt bad, afraid to disturb them.

"It's okay, I enjoyed chatting with father."

After chatting for a few minutes, Dae Hyun finally hung up on the phone.

"Does Mr. Kim not know about Miss Soo Yin's condition, Sir?" Aunt Xia asked.

"I'm not able to say it, I'm afraid to make him sad," Dae Hyun said with a sad face. Did not know what he did this time, whether wrong or right.  It could be that if Soo Yin woke up she might scold him.  It's not the intention to hide Soo Yin's situation, but he hasn't been able to meet face to face with her in-laws.

With a heavy heart, Dae Hyun has to leave Soo Yin for a while.  Soon he has to go to the airport so he won't be late.  Even though it was only two weeks apart, for him it will feel like a long time.

Soo Yin's body, which was still lying weakly on the bed, suddenly shook violently.  Like feeling so much pain that her body was convulsing.

Auntie Xia who was sleeping on the chair beside Soo Yin immediately woke up as the girl grabbed her wrist tightly.  Until the girl's nails stuck in her skin.  The middle-aged woman was terrified to see Soo Yin's current state.

Aunt Xia was confused about what to do in the middle of the night like this.  Usually there was a nurse accompanying her to look after Soo Yin.  But tonight the nurse asked permission to go home early because her mother was sick.

"Chung Ho, hurry up and call Doctor Eun Ji!" Aunt Xia yelled to Chung Ho who she remembered was on duty outside the room.

Chung Ho, who was shocked, immediately got up and rushed into Soo Yin's room.

"What's the matter, Ahjumma?" Chung Ho asked, he was still not really conscious from his sleep.

"Hurry up and call Doctor Eun Ji right now!" Aunt Xia shouted hysterically.

Chung Ho immediately took his cell phone and called Doctor Eun Ji's number.

Soo Yin felt like she was walking in a very dark hallway. Ft confused looking for directions to walk because there was no light at all.  The girl kept asking for help until finally found a small light that was not so bright.  Slowly get up by feeling the wall while walking in the direction of the light.  But the light disappeared again and the situation was now getting pitch black.

Soo Yin felt so scared that she shed tears. She was very afraid in a dark place like that.  Nobody there at all.  Made Soo Yin felt hopeless.

Seeing Soo Yin who was shedding tears, Aunt Xia reached out her hand to wipe it off. Since earlier, her grip had not been completely released from the middle-aged woman's hand.

"Ahjumma, what happened to her?" Chung Ho who just finished his call asked.

"I don't know," Auntie Xia said, her hands trembling.  Very afraid of bad things.

Half an hour later, Doctor Eun Ji finally arrived carrying various kinds of medical equipment in her bag.  Starting to check Soo Yin's condition such as her eyes, mouth, and body temperature which was indeed cold.

The girl was like shivering and continued to shake without opening her eyes. It was as if she felt such pain that cold sweat came out of her body.

Aunt Xia, who was panicked and afraid that something might happen, immediately called Dae Hyun.  Have not had time to say what happened Dae Hyun suddenly closed the call.

Aunt Xia hurried back inside to see Soo Yin.  Widened her eyes when she saw Doctor Eun Ji began to remove the breathing tube Soo Yin used to help breathe while the girl was in a coma.  Doctor Eun Ji also removed all the medical equipment stuck to the girl's body.

The middle-aged woman really couldn't believe what she saw at this time.  It all felt like a dream.

Dae Hyun didn't expect it to happen so quickly. His feet were unable to support his body weight. His throat was choked so she couldn't even make a sound.

He had just returned from Nami Island, immediately surprised when he saw the scene before his eyes.  Lots of flower bouquets on the grounds of Pyeongchang-dong villas.

Dae Hyun walked very slowly.  His feet could not run fast.  When entering the house many people were already there.

They were surrounding someone who was covered by a white cloth.  Dae Hyun kept trying to drag his feet closer but the distance felt so far away that it didn't end.

When he saw who was lying down, Dae Hyun sat down.

"Don't! Don't leave me."  Dae Hyun shook the body whose body was so cold.

"Do not leave me!" Dae Hyun shouted hysterically.

Derrttt ... Derrttt ....

Dae Hyun woke up when he felt his cell phone vibrate.  Sweat poured out of his body.  His breath was panting with fear.

Seen the clock showing one o'clock in the morning.  Heaved a sigh of relief as he rubbed his chest because it was all a dream.  Even though they all seemed very real.

Dae Hyun opened his cell phone to see who was calling him in the middle of the night like this.  His hands shook when he found out that it was Aunt Xia.  Instantly thought that something bad had happened.

"What's the matter, Ahjumma? Calling in the middle of the night like this?" Dae Hyun asked as he calmed his heart so as not to panic.  His heart was still pounding with fear.

"Sir, Miss Soo Yin ... Miss ...." Aunt Xia on the phone was unable to utter the words.

"Ahjumma, what's wrong with my wife?"  Dae Hyun felt the blood on his body suddenly freeze. Did not be able to listen to anything said by Aunt Xia.

"Doctor Eun Ji is checking her condition right now," Aunt Xia said.

Dae Hyun hung up the line without asking how Soo Yin was doing.  His mind felt blank but a few moments later he immediately regained consciousness.  He immediately rushed out of bed. Change clothes in haste.

"Honey, please wait for me to come home."  Dae Hyun immediately rushed out of his place to stay.  There was no more time to tidy up his belongings.  Only carry a bag containing some documents and a laptop.

Dae Hyun was driving his car at high speed.  Regardless of the street.  Fortunately, it was already late at night so there weren't many vehicles passing by.

As soon as Dae Hyun arrived the airport, he went straight to the ticket shop, it turned out that the fastest flight would be around 2 hours. This made Dae Hyun's body really weak at this time.
