Hidden Wife: Best Husband

Dae Hyun gave his son the hug and immediately picked up Jo Yeon Ho. Alternately kissing both cheeks.

"Why are Father's eyes red?" Jo Yeon Ho asked with an innocent face.  Holding Dae Hyun's cheek with his tiny hand.

While Soo Yin was in the hospital, Dae Hyun did not get enough sleep so that his eyelids were black and his eyes were red.  Actually he was tired because he had to work then had to wait for Soo Yin also at night.  But for him none of that mattered at all.

"Is it true?" Dae Hyun asked, pretended not to know.

"Just ask Grandma, I'm really not lying," Jo Yeon Ho replied as he looked into his father's eyes.

"Dad just looks at the laptop so much that it's like this," Dae Hyun said, smiling as he approached his parents who were sitting on the sofa. Seated Jo Yeon Ho next to him.

"Dae Hyun, don't feel too guilty. What happened to that girl is not entirely your fault. No one thought all of that would happen," Park Ji Hoon said.

"It's true your father said, stop blaming yourself," said Mrs. Park who didn't want his son to be tormented.

"I just wanted to do something for her," Dae Hyun said with a deep sigh.

"How is she doing now?" Park Ji Hoon asked.

"Nothing has progressed yet," Dae Hyun said in a heavy tone.

"Soo Yin is a good girl. Surely she will wake up soon."  Mrs. Park rubbed Dae Hyun's shoulder so he wouldn't think too much about it.

"I hope like that too," Dae Hyun said as he rubbed his face.

"Mother," Jo Yeon Ho said.

Instantly everyone looked towards the entrance.  Aeri has just arrived wearing a black dress with sparkling pearls on it.  With makeup and hair like a princess. Even so, Dae Hyun wasn't interested at all.  All he had in mind was an innocent girl who had not been conscious until now.

"Let's go!" Aeri said with a smile on her lips.

"Go?" Dae Hyun asked while raising his eyebrows.  Didn't understand where they were going.

"Dae Hyun, did you forget that the daughter of the Choi family got married? Tonight is the wedding reception," Mrs. Park who has risen to his feet said.

Dae Hyun didn't remember at all that a week ago Choi Won had invited him to come to his sister Jie Ran's wedding with a businessman.

"I don't remember at all. You should just go," Dae Hyun said.

"Isn't Choi Won your best friend? What should we say to Choi out if you don't come?"  Mrs. Park felt bad for the Choi family if his son wouldn't come.  Because during Dae Hyun's wedding, all the Choi family members came without exception.

"It's true Mother said, honey. Besides, why would I dress up to the salon if you don't come," Aeri said while pursing her lips.

"Okay," Dae Hyun said in the end agreeing to come, although reluctantly.  Not at Aeri's request, it was more because Choi Won invited her last week.

'I'm sorry, Soo Yin,' Dae Hyun thought.  Tonight he was supposed to invited her to introduce her to his friends.  What a failed plan.

Half an hour later they arrived at the Choi family's residence.  The party was held in a large open courtyard with the theme of a standing party.  With flower decorations and colorful lights that are very festive.  Many invited guests have arrived.  So that it almost filled the place.

Jo Yeon Ho joins hands with her grandparents.  Meanwhile, Aeri took Dae Hyun's arm very tightly.  Her expression was very happy tonight for being the center of attention.

"Aeri, you're too much," Dae Hyun said, looking at his wife with disdain.

"Look, everyone must be jealous to see the two of us who are very harmonious," Aeri said with a happy face.

Dae Hyun was very regretted to have attended the wedding invitation with Aeri.  It didn't change at all.  Every time she went to an event she always want to be the center of attention.

Not far from the entrance they were greeted by Mrs. Choi and Mr. Choi very friendly.  There were also the groom's parents there.

Before mingling with others. First Aeri and Dae Hyun approached the wedding couple to congratulate them.

"Jie Ran, congratulations on your wedding. You look very beautiful," Aeri praised the bride.

"Thank you for coming," Jie Ran said with a very sweet smile.

Dae Hyun also congratulated Jie Ran and his partner.  The bride and groom looked very happy at this time.  The queue was so long that Dae Hyun didn't stay long at the aisle.

Dae Hyun immediately stepped away from Aeri when Aeri was busy chatting with several other invited guests.  It was the only chance for him to leave immediately.

Until finally met his friends who were gathered.  There were Jung Rok, Choi Won and Do Yun.

"Why does your face look so wrinkled like that?"  Choi Won sneered when he saw Dae Hyun approaching them with sad eyes.

"He doesn't seem excited," Do Yun said.

Jung Rok brought a glass of drink to Dae Hyun which the waiter brought.

"Where is your young wife?" Choi Won whispered. He looked like he was looking for someone.

"That's right, even I want to see her again," Do Yun said.

Dae Hyun just took a sip of his drink until it ran out.  Lowered his sad face.

"She's currently in the hospital," Dae Hyun said sadly.

"What?" Do Yun and Choi Won said in unison.

Good thing the place they were standing was not very crowded so no one was listening to their conversation.

"She got hurt when he saved my son," Dae Hyun said, looking away.  Imagining his wife who was still lying weak in the hospital.

Not many people know about this incident because they were keeping it a secret so that unwanted things do not happen.

"Then how are things now?" Jung Rok asked.

Dae Hyun took a deep breath. His breath was heavy to answer it.

Jung Rok already understood what was going on seeing Dae Hyun's expression so there was no need to ask that again.

"Poor girl," Do Yun said.

"Let's join the others because it's a bit quiet here."  Choi Won tried to change the subject.  Didn't want to make his sad friend even worse.  Even so many questions were on his mind.  Looked like now was not the right time.

After the party was over, Dae Hyun immediately left the Choi family's residence without saying goodbye to Aeri.  Head straight to the hospital to see Soo Yin.

It's up to Aeri who will come home with.  As for Jo Yeon Ho, there were grandparents who couldn't possibly leave the child.

Because Dae Hyun can't look after and see Soo Yin every day.  He decided to take his wife home to the Pyeongchang-dong villa.

During the next two weeks he will returned to out of town.  He thought Soo Yin would be safer if she was treated at home. The doctors forbid what Dae Hyun would do because it could endanger the girl's life. But the man remained adamant, convinced that his wife would wake up more quickly if she was at home.

Even though she was brought home, Dae Hyun rented medical equipment and all the necessities needed for Soo Yin's recovery.  Not forgetting to pay the nurses and doctors who have to be ready to treat Soo Yin all the time.

Dae Hyun has also confirmed that no one in his family knew about this. He said that Soo Yin was transferred out of town.

This afternoon Dae Hyun will leave for Nami Island.  It has been a long time since the resort managed by his younger brother has been neglected, so he has to go there now.  Actually his heart was very dilemma at this time.  But he couldn't do anything because Park Ji Hoon had entrusted the responsibility to him.

Before leaving, Dae Hyun took the time to visit his wife. Clean the body using warm water. Gently massage her arms and legs.

"Honey, hurry up and wake up. I'm still waiting for the promise you have to keep, I hope you don't forget it," Dae Hyun said with a hollow smile.  Even though he smiled, his heart was very sad.  Extends his hand to touch Soo Yin's pale cheek.  Her body now looked thinner.

"I'm sorry, we won't be able to meet in two weeks because I have to take care of the resort on Nami Island. Pray for me that everything will run smoothly. Get up quickly, so I can take you there."

"Darling, you don't have to worry about us, we just parting ways for a bit. I won't be naughty and glance at other women, I promise." Dae Hyun hooked his finger on Soo Yin's little finger.

"Honey, hurry up and open your eyes. I promise to do whatever you ask," Dae Hyun asked while squeezing his wife's fingers gently.

"I will show the world that you are my wife if you ask for it right now."

"Please don't leave me," Dae Hyun said softly.

"Please, wake up before I return."  Dae Hyun kissed Soo Yin's forehead gently for a few seconds. Felt the touch of his lips on the girl's forehead.
