At the same time...Next morning...Lu Qiang's room.

Lu Qiang woke up with a smile on his face. Rubbing his eyes, he looked at the photograph lying beside his pillow.

He picked it up and caressed Jiang Yuyan's in the photograph with his thumb, "Yuyan."

Getting out of the bed, Lu Qiang put that picture inside the bedside drawer and went to the gallery of his bedroom. It was an east-facing gallery as Lu Qiang liked the morning sunlight.

Standing in the mild sunlight, he closed his eyes and felt the light breeze passing by touching his body. After a very long time, he was feeling this much relaxed.

After getting ready in his office clothes, when he went downstairs for breakfast, his father Lu Jinhai called him.

"Lu Qiang! I was waiting for you."

Lu Jinhai was sitting on the sofa while reading a newspaper and was going through the news about his family and last night's event.

"Hmm!" Lu Qiang joined his father.

"I have invited Jiang Peizhi and his family for dinner tonight. They are coming to our home after many years, so I want you to present for dinner. Make sure to clear your schedule in the evening. I have already informed others."

"Hmm!" Lu Qiang nodded calmly as if it was nothing, but inside he was happy to hear it.

He almost thought to clear his schedule for the entire day and not step outside of the mansion.

"Your aunt and her family left early this morning as there was an emergency in the Wang family," Lu Jinhai said.

Lu Qiang asked, "Is there anything serious?"

"No! Don't worry."

"What are you guys doing here. Let's go for breakfast." That was elder Lu. "I am happy that my love is coming to our home after so many years."

"Does mother know that you are calling someone else your love other than her?" Lu Jinhai asked

"Of course! She knows about it, and she won't say anything," elder Lu replied, carrying a broad smile on his lips.

Lu Qiang looked at him with a questioning gaze.

Elder Lu noticed it, "What? I am talking about Jiang Yuyan. You rascal."

Lu Qiang narrowed his pitch-black eyes and wanted to say something but avoided it. He just wanted to say- 'She is MY LOVE Grandpa.'

At Jiang residence...

Jiang Yang came downstairs. His father was in the living room, and his mother was on a call talking to someone. Jiang Yang didn't see his sister and searched for her.

"Good Morning, Dad! Where is YuYan? Haven't she come downstairs?" Jiang Yang asked.

"She must be tired because of the party last night. Let her sleep for a while," Jiang Peizhi replied.

Agreeing, Jiang Yang sat beside his father.

"In the evening, we are going to Lu Mansion for dinner," Jiang Peizhi informed.

Hearing what his father said, Jiang Yang's eyes brightened up as the mischievous smile painted on his lips.

"It's getting late now. I don't want Yuyan to miss breakfast. I'll be back soon."

After getting up from the sofa in a hurry, Jiang Yang went upstairs to his sister's room, not letting his father say anything.

Even after knocking on the door twice, there was no reply, so he barged inside the room to see his sister sleeping soundly, while burying her face into the pillow.

Knowing she was not in a deep sleep, Jiang Yang went to bed and whispered in his sister's ear.

"Lu Qiang is here, and he is coming to your room."

Jiang Yuyan got up at the speed of lightning as she exclaimed. "What? Where?" and jumped out of her bed immediately.

Rubbing her eyes with the backside of her palm, she tried to see clearly. Her face was sleepy with swollen eyes, her hair was messy, and one corner of her lips had an entirely invisible mark of drooling.

Jiang Yang broke out a loud laugh, "I was kidding. You are looking like a wild kitten. Get fresh and come downstairs for breakfast. I have good news for you."

Saying it, Jiang Yang moved towards the door without giving his sister a chance to react.

"You....!!"

Picking up the cushions from her bed, the sister threw it at him, but he immediately dashed out of her room and went downstairs while laughing.

Seeing Jiang Yang laughing, Jiang Peizhi understood from where he was coming and asked, "What did you do now?"

"Nothing, Dad. I just said something which worked best to wake her up immediately," Jiang Yang replied.

Jiang Peizhi smiled but didn't ask what he did. He never bothered himself with the things between these siblings. He knew there must be few things which these two might not want to share with their parents.

After some time, Jiang Yuyan came downstairs and greeted her brother with a killer gaze, which he welcomed while smiling slyly.

"Good Morning, Dad,"

Her father greeted her back, and she sat beside him, not knowing one surprising news was waiting for her.

"In the evening, we are going to Lu Mansion," Jiang Yang informed, eager to see his sister's shocked reaction.

The next moment she exclaimed, "What? I..I mean why?"

She was surprised to hear it and reacted hastily but controlled herself because her father was there.

Jiang Yang couldn't help but smile after looking at her surprised expressions. "Ask Dad."

Jiang Peizhi replied before Jiang Yuyan could ask him, "We are going there for dinner. After so many years, we are here together; that's why your uncle Lu Jinhai invited us all."

"Do we all need to go there? Can't I rest at home?" Jiang Yuyan asked.

Just then, Mo Ruolan came out of the kitchen.

"Of course not! We all are going there. I want both of you to get familiar with them because when your father and I go back from China, they will help you if you are in any trouble or whenever you will need something."

Jiang Yang smiled to hear it.

"Of course, Mom! Jiang Yuyan, Cough-Cough! I mean, we will love to get along with them just like in the past."

He winked at his sister, but she frowned, looked in another direction, and said, "Okay, Mom!"
