YOU ME ...DESTINY

My parents arrived and I lead them to the lanai where the foods are display. They were a little curious seeing the table with full of foods. 

"Son, what's the occasion that you have plenty of foods display? Do you have other visitors coming?" My father asked looking at the table. They were sitting in the couch facing the outdoor pool. The servant came in to serve them drinks.

"Well, yes, and before I could tell you let us wait for a moment so that you will know." I said smilingly at them. My mother raised her brows I know she is dying of curiosity knowing my mother but she kept her mouth shut. 

Minutes later I heard the vehicle sound another guests arrived, Cadence's parents, I waved my servant who is in standby for my signal. She came closer to me. "Kindly tell them to come down please." I say.

"Yes, sir." She replied and left. I stood up as I saw Cadence's parents guided my other servant walking towards the lanai. Their eyes were shocked seeing my parents as they were nearly approaching.

"Good morning, Mr. & Mrs. Thomas." I greeted them. My parents stood up and greeted them too. Actually, they knew each other for a long time before we existed in this world. Yes, they were good friends and Cadence's parents are currently working in my dad's company in A City.

"So, they are your guests." My mother burst saying with a wide smile in her face. "But what's the important occasion that you invited us here son?" she added some curiosity question.

I took a heavily sighed I am just a little tense too on how to exactly tell them. "Well, Mom, Dad in this special gathering I would like to tell you something. As you can see Mr. & Mrs. Thomas are here too because I am dating her daughter Cadence and we were actually engaged not long ago."

Their eyes were somewhat shocked but did not stop there. "Do you know that she have kids?" Cadence's father asked.

"She does?" My father asked Mr. Thomas.

"Yes, she has 2 kids." Mr. Thomas answered. "Are you sure you still accept her despite having kids with other man."

Both my mother and Mrs. Thomas did not say a word but they were looking at each other. They are best of friend since grade school. 

"Actually, the truth is I am the father of her kids." I said admitting to them.

'WHAT'

Only my father and Mr. Thomas were reacted but my mother and Mrs. Thomas were just calm. I too got confused.

"Mom, why are you not surprise about?" I could not wait but ask.

"Well, son, I and Carol knew about them that they are your children." She smiled. Mrs. Thomas nodded. "Whaat?! How come Mom, how did you know?" Cadence asked.

"Yes, how come did you know Carol?" his father asked too.

Mrs. Thomas smiled as she and my mother were looking at each other. "When you told me that you already have kids and saw them in person, I got this feeling that I somehow got a hint on why you will not tell us who the father was." She explained. "I told Juliet and met her somewhere. I told her about you and I told her about whom I think the father of your children. I even let her see the photos of your kids and at that instant then we have the same instinct."

"That's right, the first time I saw their pictures I knew that you too… were something. So, I convinced you dad to let you handle the company in B City when Cadence got the job as an Assistant Secretary to the CEO." She said that would make me shocked about the revelation. "Luckily on the situation that your brother in law was transferred to NY and your sister agreed to go with him too. Therefore, this is the chance for the two of you. I did not expect that it would be this soon but I am glad." She smiled happily.

Cadence and I were like a statue that could not move after hearing the truth even my father and Mr. Thomas too.

"Okay, okay, we should not bother thinking about it anymore." My mother snapped her fingers so that we could all waking from the shock. "Just call my grandchildren so that we could meet them and know more about them because I am eager to hug them." She said.
