Yomigaeri no Maou

Lesson four, adventurer.

From the entrance to the village, a branch road extends from a long street that leads to the Wang capital, and Rusty looks at it and says, "I'm going on an adventure out of here one day! Lulu had often seen him say," etc.

From the beginning of his mindfulness, Rusty has always been like that, so I was wondering if his admiration for the adventurer, was anything but hard to put to the brush tongue.

I've thought many times about what makes him so obsessed with adventurers, but it was Lulu's thought conclusion that maybe because life in this village is free and less exciting for him, who is a child.

Lulu, once in the midst of a war, sought peace so that the sun could quietly watch the windy meadows for a day, but those who, on the contrary, continue to live every day looking at the meadows, would rather seek war and adventure.

Even Lulu didn't feel somewhat bored with the blurry days of the last few years.

Rusty's boredom and yearning for adventurers, who had lived in the village since birth, not in previous lives, was incomprehensible.

"... here we are!

At the entrance to the village, waiting in a blur with four people: Lulu, Rusty, Mi and Yuri, I saw a shadow shake across the road.

There are few pedestrians, such as those who ask such peripheral villages, or with the exception of acquaintances of villagers.

Especially that shadow you see more than anyone else who is said to be coming to this day, I'm pretty sure it's an adventurer that Rusty heard.

That's how I finally got to the position where I could clearly see my face, that adventurous person.

That was a pair.

One was a plagiarized man, who covered his flesh with strong armor and lightly carried a giant sword on its back.

The face is more rough than just, and has a pleasant look that doesn't make you feel any darkness.

The other was a woman.

Even so, it is clear from the fact that it is not a people (human) because of its long ears, its extremely beautiful appearance.

An ancient race (elf), said to have been created in the earliest years since God created this world and produced the Spirit.

She had that trait.

We are both adventure-like adventurers, and we will not be in a general profession to see, we have an atmosphere of uniqueness and bigotry.

Even from Lulu's eyes, those two made him feel like they were medium arms.

The magic that surrounds us both is of the skilled in quality and quantity. So, I certainly don't feel uncomfortable calling people like them real adventurers.

Even if you can't see through to your strength, because you felt the unspeakable atmosphere between the two, Rusty and others stare at them blindly.

Even Mi and Yuri had some amazing eye colors and felt like seeing something unusual.

Usually the two girls stare at Rusty's dream story with a slightly awakened eye, but only because it was different today.

I wonder if one day these two girls will also be impressed by Rusty and leave the village for the adventurer.

Few young people leave the village behind.

Sometimes I say that villages alone can't feed too much, but more than that, there's a longing for the city that leaves me in the big capital, saying that I'm going to be an adventurer, like Rusty, or apprentice at some chamber of commerce.

Even though that doesn't mean the village is in decline, it's somewhat lonely for me to be left behind.

In time, even if I'm going to be the one to leave.

With that in mind, at last, the two adventurers came all the way to sight.

Nearby, Lulu is a little relieved that he's not the type to look too violent and that Rusty and the others aren't likely to be suddenly treated as interrupters and beaten up.

"What? Kids. Welcome?

A swordsman man who came to the village early, saw Lulu and said so while rubbing (sassy) his jaw in surprise.

An ancient woman says clasp the arm of such a swordsman.

"That can't be true. I can't help but risk sending a child to greet the adventurer. Probably came to see... right?

The ancient woman, leaning her neck, asked Rusty.

Rusty was stunned as he was suddenly spoken to, but you didn't think you could lie, honestly, crush him with a voice that was going to disappear.

"Yes... yes"

"Look! Just like I said. Because there are quite a few kids in these villages who want to be adventurers... after all, are you adventurers aspiring too?

"Yes...... one day to a real adventurer!

I wave up my hand and say that, Rusty.

You had something to feel for it, the swordsman man strokes Rusty's head.

"Ha. Right, right. I'm not saying I can't. Because the road to adventurers is open to everyone... but if you're serious about not joking, I'll train you. You don't have any arms, but you die an adventurer."

"Yes!"

"Good reply...... OK, then, I'll tell you about the adventure I've been having for you that looks promising! I don't care what you say. Why don't you show me to the inn?

"Welcome!

Apparently the two of them walked straight into the village, shouldering each other as they did so strangely.

Lulu's who were staring at that.

Mi and Yuri sighed,

"I hope you don't burn Rusty too much..."

"I wonder how old a boy is..."

and so on and went after him.

I heard it, and the ancient woman left on the spot said with her face only slightly tightened and her mouth in my ear.

"... is there some complicated relationship? Those kids."

"Yeah, well... you're a guy called a triangle"

Lulu nods blurring at the direction in which the four of them left.

The ancient woman nodded to convince herself, then slammed her neck.

"Hmm...? That, what about you?

Apparently, it seemed strange that triangles did not include lulu.

I looked for the right words for where I stood, and I said,

"I'm a bystander."

"... that's unusual. Those two, you might not know they're just in the village, but they're cute enough not to look inside, right? If you spit on it while you can..."

Lulu tells the woman, who is about to be a seven-year-old for some serious advice that is in adulthood, with a slightly sarcastic grin that the child will never float inside.

"It's more fun to watch, like this"

To that word, an ancient woman who distorts her expression.

And shake your head,

"Foreword withdrawn. You have a bad taste."

Well, I have no objection to that dialogue, I thought Lulu decided to cut up the chat around here for now and changed the story.

"Ha. Well, anyway, no matter how many adventurers you say, you're tired. Shall I show you to the inn?

"Oh, yeah. I'm begging you. You're pretty tired of demons by the time you get here..."

The woman seemed really tired and had a laid back look.

You should rest early today, that's what I thought Lulu would do, guide the ancient woman politely to the inn.

I hadn't thought about Lulu at that time trying to make that care go to waste.

◇ ◆ ◇ ◆ ◇

"Hey, bring the booze, booze!

"Over here too!

There was only one inn in the village that night.

Every day, the men of the village serve alcohol. It's a busy place, but today it's filled with even more May fly noise than usual, and the enthusiasm is amazing.

That should be it, too, at the heart of that hustle and bustle is that pair of adventurers.

The men of the village are listening with pleasure to the story of the man, who continues to talk in a prolonged mood around the middle of the tavern.

It was not only the adults but also the children who were listening to him.

For the less exciting villagers, talking about travellers coming from the outside is one of the few entertainments that will become so popular that this is how the crowd can be crowded.

Besides, today's liquor bill is sometimes the luxury of two adventurers, bringing more villagers together than usual.

The children of the village are also gathered because it was decided early through the master of the inn that the character of the two adventurers was not high or violent, just fun people, and it was not a problem to have children.

The women were also listening to ancient (elf) women, and it was almost enough to say that people from all over the village were here to be replaced and assembled.

"Gran! Tell me the next story!

Gran, that's the name of the adventurer, the swordsman, who came this time.

Rusty's story reveals that he's a high-ranking adventurer and he's definitely a so-called "real” guy in the liquor platter so far. The adventure spoken of felt the presence of danger and treasure, and the man had an awesome ability to be strongly persuaded against it.

The name of the ancient woman is Yumis, and she still seems to be definitely an ancient (elf), while the common ancient (elf) does not come out of the woods or the interior, she says she is almost the same stranger who ran away from home and came out of the interior.

The magical skill seems to have been the presence of a finger fold among the ancient tribes (elves), which is why no one could stop her from running away.

I know very well that she is quite a wife.

The many adventures that those two have had, one is a series of pinches, and the fundamental challenge is how to get through it, which is why it was ups and downs and interesting and attracted the strong interest of the villagers.

Mostly, one of them runs into a strange trap and the other helps by some means, but they rub each other's responsibilities and fight about it, so everyone incites that fight.

"At that time, Yumis took a strange interest. Mostly, normally, if there's something crazy about the ruins, you'd be careful, wouldn't you? Yet this guy says, 'I don't know what to do' and he reaches out from behind and pushes it!? Are you nuts!? Though it would be a lifelike species to begin to say how much archaeological value the site has or historical discoveries have! Let's take care of our lives, we take care of our lives!

"Huh!? If that's what you're saying, you're right! That was... when I started saying that I was suddenly going to a martial arts tournament! Don't even give me a proper explanation. I was wondering why you'd come out like that. I thought I'd snag you when it became clear that gambling with a nobleman you didn't like! Fine, nothing! If you leave alone! But it's party-based, and even though there are six maximum contestants, the two of us compete!? Stupid. Stupid! Besides, isn't it a venue or an idiot where booing and weird assassins are sent every time you win!?

"Whoa... that bastard of a nobleman threatened a woman with a sick child to be his mistress in the form of a debt, so I'm going to do something about it...!

"If I did that every time, I wouldn't be here! Idiot!"

"Say that. You did the same thing! I was ready to die when I started saying I was going to pick up dragon horns for my pills!

"Oh, that...!!

All in all, the two of them entertained the villagers at that rate.

Rusty was there, too, but every time they talked about one adventure, the glare grew, and at the end of the day, Gran offered me an apprenticeship, so much so that I looked like I was about to cry.

However, around pulling out to the condition that if I could be an adventurer, he would make me an apprentice, I might be surprisingly good at negotiating.

My father said Rusty didn't seem so bad, and that if he was enough to be an adventurer, it would come true within a few years without any problems.

His apprenticeship to the Gran is perhaps almost a decision.

That's how the fun time passes, and the villagers are scattered late at night.

Everyone seemed to have fun and Rusty, Mi and Yuri seem very lonely as they follow home in a good mood.

Rusty goes without saying that Mi and Yuri have also talked for a while and completely missed the two adventurers, and they miss breaking up.

The purpose of the two adventurers was told during the banquet, but apparently there are ruins in the woods near the village, because that touches Yumis' personal interests.

It was only a personal interest, I felt two freaks in what I was saying, but maybe they are real adventurers because they are doing it with such a policy.

The ruins of the purpose were touched upon in the liquor festival, but the villagers also seemed to know the place well and said it was not so great.

However, according to Yumis' view, something is likely to happen.

That said, she had seen the same type of ruins in various areas, and anywhere in them, she had doubts that their use was unclear.

So they try to find that common denominator and stop by where there are ruins of that type along the way.

about the ruins of purpose,

"I'm sure that was made by the Ancient Demons! Yes, you must be!

and so on and Yumis said many times, and each time Lulu was frightened and reacted,

"I can't believe you found the ruins of such a horrible ancient demon tribe! If they find us, how the hell do we know it belongs to the Ancient Demons?

Gran told me so and so on and it was sober.

Let Yumis tell you, ancient demonic legends seem to be a kind of romance.

I don't know how that feels. But Gran's dialogue would make more sense.

In this era, it is quite difficult to determine when and by whom the ruins were made, and it is even more difficult to identify, for example, those made by the ancient demons thousands of years ago.

Whatever it is, it equals very little material.

Still, they have a lot of people like Yumis who are desperately trying to find them, but they still haven't found them.

Lulu is likely to find it, but if he tells you to give him grounds, that's it.

It is a difficult one.

I mean, for them, I stopped by this village on another errand.

That's how he says that it's not just in Yumis, it's also in Gran's, and in his case, he always makes sure to stop by when he's close to a city where there's a fighting competition or something similar.

I thought you seemed like a lot of fun traveling.

It's those two, so by saying we're going to the woods early tomorrow morning, the next time the Rustys see them is when they come back to the village, when they've finished their purpose.

It is also understandable that we will not see each other for a while, and even if we do, we will travel from the village early.

Just because that's why I haven't spared a goodbye here all my life, I guess it's natural not to go.

That's why all Rusty and his parents dragged him home.

The last thing that remained was the media, the mother of Lulu and Lulu.

Father Patrick is not at home because he is not on vacation right now.

That's why my mother and I came here today.

My mother didn't look like she was a alcoholic, she was supposed to be drinking a good amount of alcohol today, but that attitude remained the same as usual, and she was sure of her footsteps.

"Lulu. Time to go home"

To my mother who said so, Lulu nods and answers.

"Yeah, okay"

He waves back to the two adventurers waving at the entrance to the tavern and inn, and starts walking straight.

Walking hand in hand with my mother, I look up at the starry sky.

The stars floating there have not changed their appearance significantly for thousands of years.

The stars I saw then were still floating, and I was aware of the connection between myself in the Demon King era and who I am today.

My mother was looking up at the night sky, too, and, duh, she opened her mouth.

"Hey, Lulu."

"What?"

"One day you too..."

She said something and my mother shut her mouth.

And without saying it to the end,

"... yeah. It's nothing."

"Oh well."

I understood what you were trying to say, that's all.

My mother knows.

One day, to Lulu about to leave the village.

Besides, I don't know how you noticed.

However, when we leave the village one day, we need to talk about it thoroughly.

Lulu thought so and hurried his way home.

It goes without saying that Lulu could not have imagined that the next day there would be a major incident.
