Yomigaeri no Maou

Lesson 27: Mistakes and Consultation

The Adventurers Union (Guild) building is surprisingly neat, and the atmosphere of a rough base is not even dusty.

The first floor of the three-story building is a large, non-confliction-free room, with a reception desk set up around the middle to bisect the room, and a working space for Adventurers' Union (Guild) staff behind that reception.

The desk for reception is quite long, but there seems to be a sort of classification that I said for registration, for requisition, for guild grocery office, for submission of materials, etc., so when there is a type of reception, this length may have been necessary.

Then, on the front side of the reception, there is even a bulletin board for adventurers and a long chair for waiting, as well as a coffee and tavern space where you can have snacks and booze, and it looks good to say that most of what adventurers need is here.

"... first of all, you have to register, so you're a receptionist"

That's what Lulu said as he read the types listed in each reception.

"That's right... that looks like it over there, uncle"

Proceed to the receptionist, having such a conversation with Illis.

The contact for the requisition seems to be doing quite a bit of work, but the woman sitting at the contact for registration seemed extremely free and looked hollow with a thin blurry gaze.

I don't even notice it when I get close, so I tap my desk and then talk.

"... I'd like to register"

Then the girl sitting at the reception sifts her body, frightened, and takes some paperwork out of her desk in advance and loads it on her desk.

She must be a Girl of the Rabi Beast Clan (Animazeas) due to her long ears hanging out of her chestnut hair.

Although skinny, what should be claimed is that its shape is a characteristic of the species.

Lulu didn't pay particular attention, but Illis stares bitterly at a part of the girl.

Then the girl handed Lulu some stacked paperwork together.

"Oh, um, this... it's a registration form!

The way I put it is I get the impression that I'm going to hang around... yes, rather unfamiliar.

In fact, its officials are younger than the rest, rather close to the Lulu's.

Probably the new guy who just got in, says.

Somehow, the same rookie, so intimate, Lulu smiled and received the paperwork.

"Thanks. Should I write down what I need for this?

There also seemed to be a portion of Illis, and I asked him a question, halving one document at a time and handing it to Illis.

Iris begins to read the written documents he is given.

The girl leaned back to Lulu's question,

"That's right... uh... that's right, you don't have to write about anything other than your name and where you're from..."

If you look at the paperwork when you're told, besides your name, where you're from, there's a section called Stunts and Fighting.

That's all. It's subtle about what I wrote, so I ask a question.

"What should I write about this stunt and how to fight it?"

"Oh, you don't have to write there... if you can use magic, and if you're familiar with academics... if you can write about swordsmanship, the point is your selling point, something like that... I hope"

"Who do you sell points of sale to?

That's what Iris, wondering, heard from the side.

"Newbies are less likely to be registered by themselves, making it easier to sell to parties and family members (clans)... I use my good offices as an Adventurers' Union (guild) based on what is described there, so if you can write it down... because more than one person will have a lower mortality rate"

The reason was insignificant.

Families (clans) are recognized for their usefulness in the first place.

And that is a reduction in the mortality rate of adventurers and an increase in the achievement rate of requests.

That's why I could speculate that as an Adventurers' Union (Guild), I do such good offices and so on to avoid wasting human resources, so to speak of new adventurers.

But the Lulu and the others don't need to talk about this.

"No, if that's the case, we have... this. I don't need any good offices."

That being said, Lulu took out the letter of reference and family (clan) accession agreement deposited from Gran.

Then the receptionist girl cut the envelope and started reading, so in the meantime Lulu and Illis started writing the required documents, then took out a piece of silver coin, the registration fee needed to register, and handed it to the girl who apparently finished reading it.

The girl nods and receives and talks about the agreement.

"I see... you were already solicited by your family (clan). Is that also" Explorer of the Age "! Aren't you an elite clan (clan) from now on...... nice. … Now, let's go through the process. I'm not about to let you in to get inside... so you're in luck, both of you."

With that said, the girl transfers the information she wrote on the paperwork to what looks like a magic fixture in the reception.

When I was wondering what kind of work it was, apparently the magic appliance was capable of managing and storing a large amount of information, which meant that it was one of the key magic appliances supporting the Adventurers' Union (Alliance).

It seems that the ancient tribe (elves) are involved in its production, thereby knocking out performance that is not feasible in the human race (humans).

There is so much skill in the ancient tribe (elves), because it is surprising, but if you consider Yumis' magic exercise technique, it may not be so unnatural.

Even if that is not the average, or not the average, of the Ancient Nation (Elves), if they are in the Ancient Nation (Elves) today to such an extent that such an existence is not so rare, they can make something about the magic equipment that the girl at reception is messing with right now in front of them.

So the girl, who apparently finished storing information about Lulu and Iris, turned to the two of them again and handed them a piece of parchment, one at a time, before saying:

"We have now completed the process of registering you two adventurers and joining your family (clan). Here's an adventurer's card, a testament to being an adventurer."

Seen, its red copper-coloured rectangular plate bears the name of Lulu and the name of the village from which it comes.

That village was described as the village of Cadiz, because it is the territory of Cadiznora.

And there is a column called "Class," which says "Primary/Lower". Apparently this is the rank of the adventurer.

Let me also show you what is Iris's, it is similar to Lulu's, except by name.

"I'm at this class, how far is it when you go up there?

When I asked concerned, the girl answered me.

"It will go up in the order of beginner, intermediate, advanced, superior,. Also, each grade has a distinction between lower, middle, and upper, which means that there are all twelve classes from lower primary to upper extraordinary. Please note that newcomers are to start at the lower junior level. This does not change with a recommendation from a family member (clan) …"

To say, maybe it's not that flexible of a system, and thinking about climbing up, "But," a supplement came in from the reception girl.

"If you have the strength, your class will be up soon... so that depends on your strength. So think that the harder you try, the more you will be appreciated, and the better your reward will be."

I guess that means that those with arms should be duly appraised.

That's quite a nod response to work.

With strength, if that means that Lulu and Illis may be able to get up there soon, so I can look forward a little further.

The girl at the reception continues.

"Then, the detailed rules can be found on your parchment, so read them carefully."

He's going to tell me to figure out the rules for myself.

When Lulu asked the question, wondering if he could explain it to me, the girl answered.

"I'll explain it to those who can't read the letters, and I can explain it to you now, because it will be very long. Besides, as long as you act with general common sense, there is no conflict with the rules. Do you feel like completing the request, reporting it as soon as possible if the request is unavoidable, basically at your own risk…"

I would say that those three have as much as the necessary minimum, but few can even protect this.

And as long as we stick to these three, it basically means there's no conflict with the rules.

If that's the case, there's no problem.

Iris also asked with a gaze if there were any questions, but nodded and answered as there seemed to be nothing.

The girl at the reception made sure of that, and then I said.

"... now it will be sunny and you two will be adventurers. Congratulations!

It was declared loud enough to sound during the Adventurers' Union (Guild). That, in fact, sounded like everyone who was on the first floor of the Adventurers' Union (Guild).

They senior adventurers, plus union officials, stared at Lulu and Iris with a smiling smile and applauded and congratulated them.

The adventurer gets rough all the time, and the feeling may have been wrong to say, so he returns a meeting against the applause.

As it is, when I try to thank the receptionist and leave, I am retained once by the receptionist girl.

"Oh, um... and this"

That said, the girl has handed me a piece of parchment.

That looks like a flyer, with the letters "700th Wang Du Martial Arts Games" dancing and depicting the two knights fighting.

"What's this?

Tilt your neck and ask,

"Next month there will be a martial arts tournament in this King's Capital... so I thought if I had confidence in my arms, I would hope they would compete. It can be a good experience for new adventurers, so I recommend it."

Well, if it's indeed about a fighting tournament, the danger of dying is also far lower than fighting demons, and it's going to pack the drill.

It's easy to set goals, and it would be a good event to motivate new adventurers.

However, neither Lulu nor Illis want to go to the martial arts tournament.

So I said.

"I appreciate you recommending it, but we're not leaving."

"Ah... is that right..."

That's what the girl said and unfortunately drooled those ears.

Lulu, who somehow couldn't wait to see how it

"Oh, but someone from my family (clan) might leave, so I'll think about it then."

and so on.

Then Lulu and Illis walked away from the reception, grinning bitterly at the girl who had turned into a blatantly hazy look.

Just before I left the reception,

"Oh, I, I say Alin! Best wishes!

They named me, etc., so we both waved.

Then, when Illis blushes,

"What does your uncle think about the type you said?

and so seriously ask, so Lulu leans his neck and

"Isn't it nice to be well?

I replied.

But the answer seemed unhappy with Iris.

Once again, she said,

"No... Um, oh, I said, chest, what do you think about it?

I started asking, so I looked back at that part of Alin and looked at

"... Well, you like the guy you like, don't you? I remember you liked Bacchus or something..."

and so on.

Still, the disgruntled Illis,

"I don't care about your father or anything!... Oh, already. Fine. I get it, uncle. I was wrong to ask your uncle. That's what you're saying..."

Self-completing with others, he walked out, so Lulu followed him as he leaned his neck against the reaction.

Then, at one end, I headed to the exit to take the Adventurers Union (Guild) to return to my family (Clan) for a report.

Dunno, and I bumped into someone at a bad time, and Lulu let it go.

The same seems to be true for the opponent, who follows a little and then falls back.

Lulu quickly recovered and when he looked at his opponent's face thinking about apologizing, what was there was a nostalgic face.

That face that has been around for months since I left my hometown village.

With surprise and joy, I heard a roar from behind that nostalgic face towards Lulu as I tried to raise the voice of the reunion.

"Hey there, you! Apologize to Senior Rusty!!

That's what he said and popped up thinking he was the same age as Lulu and a powerful boy.

With a face taken lightly, staring at the boy's face, Lulu and Rusty.

But without reading the air, the boy continued.

"This guy is, hey, the biggest feat of newcomers here these days, he's an amazing guy! And yet, what are you... bump into me all of a sudden! Apologize! We'll see! The colour of the Adventurer ID that you have. You must be new!

On a tremendous sword screen, Lulu kept hearing the words without being able to say anything.

Rusty seems the same way and can't help but try to say something.

Then I looked at Lulu and felt sorry for him.

With that look, it kind of pinches me.

Oh, I guess this kid is one of those example kids Gran was talking about.

And I hear a boy like that say a lot, and by the way, he makes a statement lifting Rusty, and Lulu goes crazy and blows it out.

"... puppy"

Rusty, with his head behind the boy's back, accurately discerned the intent and looked embarrassed, but did not seem to pass it on to the boy.

Apparently the boy felt insulted that Lulu had blown out,

"You...... you laughed!?

And so on and so on and so on and so on and so forth.

"Yes, do it... I didn't mean to, you know... Pfft"

As Lulu's personality, once he entered the bump, he couldn't get out of it.

Knowing its character, which had not changed since his previous life, Iris put his hand on his forehead and shook his neck sideways at Lulu's attitude, which he apologized for but did not look that way, but rather seemed to be in a state of affairs.

Then it should be a question of Lulu and the boy, the misunderstanding dialogue continues, and finally,

"Okay, then it's a duel!

Around, for example, Lulu was disappointed to say, "Why did this happen..."

I thought I'd finally be able to get out of my bump, and then a piece of parchment fell to the ground from Lulu's hand.

Lulu and the boy who paid attention to it.

And the boy understood that the parchment belonged to the Wangdu Martial Arts Games next month, and hoped to settle it on the spot.

The way to settle it is a simple one of winning higher in a fighting tournament, which is easy to understand and good in itself, but the problem is that it seems to have the prospect of a boy telling Lulu how strong Rusty is.

Some of those words say, "We're not on the same level as Senior Rusty," or, "We could go and it would be like the third round of qualifying, but Senior Rusty could even make it to the main game!" It's something that incorporates the dialogue I said, "etc., so Lulu got lost in responding just to find out that he respects Rusty wholeheartedly.

Rusty had heard that from behind, too, but he was sullied that Lulu had seen his position like that, and he couldn't say anything.

I thought I'd talk a lot later, and Lulu sighed when he thought about the martial arts tournament where he was supposed to compete for some cause or effect.

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

"Hey! Listen, guys!

That's what he said, "Explorer of the Ages (Elam Kupidr)." It was Yumis who jumped into the tavern on the ground floor.

I found something funny on that face, with a look at a glance that said, and Gran frowned after having been in this situation many times, but asked me how I could not help it.

"What?"

"That's not..."

Thus, the face of the "Explorer of the Age (Elam Kupidr)", including Gran, would have the same expression on what was spoken from Yumis' mouth.

Then the members of this insane clan (clan) begin to consult and decide that there is.

Some of them were Mi and Yuri, who had returned from a request that took several days, and they immediately headed to the Adventurers' Union (Guild) in search of the Rusty's, at the behest of the senior adventurers.
