74 Raid Numbers

Jake did not want to wait there though. He turned around the leave through the portal the moment that the guild started their second run of the raid.

Myriad Arrows and Kierch followed him, because they had no intention of wasting time.

"I will leave then. If you need me again, you can message me." Kierch said as he went through the portal, vanishing.

Myriad Arrows paused, looking at Jake, waiting for his words.

"You want to come with me? It's going to be pretty boring." he said.

"Why not. I mean, I am only going to be watching these people kill a few goblins. Not very exciting." Myriad Arrows shrugged.

"Fine then." Jake said, and both of them returned to Diffast. The moment that they came from the portal, they saw an astonishing sight.

The number of people in Diffast increased exponentially. When they were leaving the city, they WERE the city. As the line of people went through the portal, they filled the streets.

But now, there were so many more people than before. It was weird.

"What happened? Why are there so many people here?" Myriad Arrows asked the most obvious question.

"What do you think? We are the most famous guild in the world right now." Jake chuckled as they walked through the streets with a carefree smile.

They did not go to the store though. They were going somewhere else.

"Where are we going? I thought that you wanted to put that blueprint in the store." Myriad Arrows asked.

"Why would I do that? Don't you know what a blueprint is for? It is to make whatever is in that blueprint. And to do that, I need to give this to a blacksmith, not keep it in some corner." Jake said as he walked further and further away from all of the buzz.

Even as they reached the outskirts though, they could hear a lot of the rush. There were players here too. With so many players in this city, trying to search every nook and cranny for the secrets of the city that made Bright Horizon so popular, even the outskirts of the city were not spared.

As they reached the forges, there were a few players, talking to the blacksmith out front.

"Do you do custom orders? I can give you ten silvers for a custom order. It should be a lot right." a woman was talking to the old forger who was the head of the forge for now.

Jake frowned as he got near the forge, and looked at the players. They were clearly taking up valuable time of the blacksmith that he was paying to forge.

The old forger was refusing the offer, but the players were still insisting. Jake's appearance changed the forger's expression though. He looked at Jake and nodded.

When the players realized that someone else was right next to them, the woman who was chief among them turned to Jake arrogantly.

"Wait your turn. I got here first," she said.

"Haha!" Jake chuckled.

"Something funny, boy?" one of the players got up close and tried to shove Jake. But Jake didn't even budge! In fact, he just moved forward, pushing the man forward with him.

"I wonder, why do you keep bothering the old man. He keeps refusing your persistent requests, and you keep asking him. Why don't you all stop wasting his and your time?" Jake said.

"What is wrong with this guy? Do you know who I am? I am someone who is connected the Bright Horizon. Yes. That's right. I know the guild leader. He is my little brother. So why don't you go somewhere else. This city is my backyard." she said arrogantly.

Jake was shocked. His face showed that he was shocked. And the opposition party only took that as a sign of victory.

"You know the guild leader of Bright Horizon?" Jake asked with shock.

"That's right. It's too late now boy. Now, I will tell him never to let you in the guild."

"Hahaha!" Myriad Arrows who was next to Jake till now couldn't stop laughing. This just got way too hilarious. Someone was posing to be Jake's sister, right in front of him?

"What's funny boy? Do you want to die?" one of the players also looked at Myriad Arrows arrogantly.

"Alright. Show's over. Get the hell out of this place." Jake shook his head and moved past the players and entered the forge, with Myriad Arrows quickly following.

"Wait a second. Right. Dreadful Cloud, Thirteen Swords, Dozen Mountain, and Hurricane Harbor. Yup. Blacklist them from the guild. Make sure that everyone knows that these four people are the furthest away from the guild as possible." Jake looked at Myriad Arrows and walked in.

The old forger did not stop them, and they walked right in.

The woman saw this and she paused for a second.

"We could walk right in? I thought that we had to wait here. What a joke." she said out loud as she also tried walking in.

"Please stop right there. You are not welcomed here." the old forger stopped her.

"What do you mean, I am not welcomed here? You let them in!" the woman protested.

"The person that you shouted at and insulted is our boss. If you keep barking like this, then you will be taken by the guards. Keep in mind that you just insulted a baron." the old forger coldly said, a sharp departure from his kind disposition before.

"Boss. We have a problem." the man behind the woman said with a tone of fear.

"What is it?" the woman was very irritated by now.

"A man named Shadow King who is also a Baron? With Myriad Arrows next to him? These two are the people that we have just met! I just looked through the forum! These are the guild leader and co-leader of Bright Horizon!"
