White Tower Wizard

Chapter 68: Underground ruins

After Green watched Vivian put the notes and scrolls away, he stood in front of the stone gate and hesitated, but gave up the plan to go in.

There may be huge unknown benefits hidden in it, but the risk is still too great for him and he is completely out of control. As a place to study evil gods, even if there are no organs and traps in it, all kinds of mysterious things are dangerous to him.

took a deep look at the stone gate in front of him, and Green secretly remembered it in his heart.

Since I don’t plan to move forward, there is only one option left to return to the original path.

Green stepped back a few steps, turned and looked at the portal portrayed on the wall behind.

   "Don't you go in?"

Unexpectedly, Vivian, who was standing by, watched his movements, but suddenly asked.

"Well, it's too dangerous. Let's go back to Casper. I want to try to activate that portal."

Green explained, just like talking to a normal human, while pointing at the wall at the other end of the secret room, and then left and walked over.

Vivian did not object to Green’s decision, but just glanced at the door she had just pushed, then glanced at Green, and then followed him to the place where they had just transmitted it.

Stopped in front of the wall, Green looked at the portal portrayed on the wall, the position of the magic crystal above his head was slightly higher, and he couldn't touch it.

Since he couldn't directly inject magic power into the magic crystal, Green tried to cover the complicated pattern of the portal with his hands, and then directly injected magic power on it.

His attempt worked. The portal was originally just a pattern. After absorbing enough magic power, every pattern lit up with a light blue light, and then the light became brighter and brighter. The portal was originally a wall. The place suddenly turned into a blue whirlpool-like light curtain.

The space in the light curtain seemed to be distorted, and there was a "rumbling" roar in the secret room.

   "Very good, it works!"

As Green guessed, this portal was activated by him.

The only question now is whether this door can lead to Casper's location. Obviously they were all teleported from the endless corridor, why are they scattered? Unlike the secret room he found, where would Casper be teleported to?

Green looked at the portal in front of him. There was no other way to go. He had to leave through this door anyway. He just hoped in his heart that he would not be teleported to a strange place again. It would be better to be with Cass. Par rendezvous.

One is born again, and the other is cooked again.

"Vivian, we have to go from here..."

Although there was a little psychological burden, Green did not hesitate. After making up his mind, he looked back at the whole secret room for one last time, and then resolutely walked into the portal.

But in order to prevent the accident, he still took Vivian's hand.

After entering the portal, Green realized that the feeling of this teleportation was different from before.

I don't have the feeling of squashed myself, but my body feels light and fluttering, as if floating in the air.

I don't know the difference between this time and the previous teleportation, but one thing is the same, that is, he has lost his sense of orientation and cannot distinguish the difference between up and down, left and right, and front and back.

After about a second or two, the blue light curtain that filled the eyes disappeared, a scene in darkness suddenly appeared in front of him, and the feeling of being down to the ground came from under the feet again.

Holding back the physical discomfort, Green looked around and found that the scene he was in had changed.

This space is not absolutely dark, there are many splattered ores glowing all around.

On the whole, it looks like a very open underground cave. In many directions, he vaguely saw the uneven rock walls and the exposed rocks.

He and Vivian stood on a platform. The neat slabs under his feet clearly showed signs of artificial construction. Behind it was a gate-style building, but there was only a long wall with two pillars, but there was no real door in between. .

The quiet blue light reflected all the areas around the platform into blue. This was a blue light curtain portal on the wall, and they came out from here. However, Green found that the portal portrayed on this wall had no magic crystals on top, just painted patterns.

"Is there a difference between one-way traffic and two-way traffic..."

He guessed that this difference should mean that it could only be teleported out from inside, and could not be activated to teleport into the secret room from here.

Through the gate, there is an upward staircase, and behind it is a very tall and magnificent building. Green saw only a few tall spires in the dark, roughly like a huge castle. Being able to be built in such an underground cave is really amazing.

Green couldn't believe his eyes, afraid that he had hallucinations, and asked Vivienne next to him:

"I'm not mistaken, am I? Such a large ruin. Vivienne, have you seen it?"

He looked at the pillars of the wall in front of him, which were exactly the same as the endless corridors and the secret room he had passed through before. He finally discovered the whole picture of the place where he had been for so long.

"Well, it's very clear..." Vivian looked at the surrounding environment like him, and the most gaze stayed at the old castle standing quietly in the dark.

It seems that whether it is the endless corridor or the secret room, it should be only a part of the castle. They are now standing at the outermost entrance of the castle.

   "It's finally out..."

Green looked at the huge castle in the dark with a feeling of shock. He vaguely felt that this building had a touch of ancient elf style, and he was reminded of the content written on the notebook found in the secret room.

Only then woke up, after accepting Cecil's secret decree, did Grand Master Marko actually build such a huge research institute underground?

Such a big castle is a research institute!

So to speak~www.novelmt.com~ The secret room he accidentally arrived just now was not what he thought. Only behind the stone gate is the place to study the evil gods, which is only a part of this huge research institute. However, judging from the degree of secrecy, perhaps it is the "heart" of this institute.

Thinking of this, Green suddenly felt a little heartache again. There must be an important secret hidden in Shimen, and he might have missed the "one hundred million"!

Just as he was thinking, the blue portal on the wall suddenly closed inward, the light curtain disappeared, and the stone wall appeared.

Very good, now even if Green regrets it, he has no chance. Once the portal is closed, his thoughts are completely cut off.

He didn't want to go up the stairs anymore, and then played the last adventure game in the castle, he was thankful that he could get out. But if he had a chance after going out, he wouldn't mind coming here to explore again.

After finishing his thoughts, Green turned and looked under the platform. There was still a winding staircase extending into the darkness below, but there was one thing that made him care.

At intervals on both sides of the stairs below , there is a stove for lighting, and at this moment, the stoves on the road are ignited very regularly.

It felt like someone did it deliberately, so Green could only think of Casper who was scattered with him during the teleportation.

Did leave a trace?

"Vivian, these stoves should be the message left by Casper, we have to hurry up and follow."

In the light of the fire, they walked down the stairs.
