Wil continued while maintaining his winning streak.

After 16 successive easy battles, this time, he was matched up with a player named Calios.

Calios is elite from the Starlight guild branch of Shire City, a branch that focuses only on assassins. Unlike others, as he knew Time Traveler, Calios cupped his fists with respect, "I'm honored to fight against a strong player like you, Time Traveler."

Wil was taken aback by his behavior, "looks like you knew me."

Calios nodded, "of course, who wouldn't know the number one ranked player in our Kingdom. I know I'll lose but I don't want to lose the opportunity of this fight. I only have one request. Please show me how much gap is there between the two of us..."

After indirectly asking Wil to go all out, he immediately went into Stealth mode and slowly began to circle around him.

While Wil is in alert and is ready to dodge and counterattack at any time, suddenly, three shurikens were thrown from his right side.

Looking at the incoming attack, Wil decided not to dodge and mumbled, "Heavenly push, 0 mana."

Just when they were about to hit his arms, a gust of wind released from his body and blew not only the shuriken away but also the assassin, who suddenly dashed to the left and about to attack Wil with his dual daggers.

Standing at the distance, he rotated his daggers once and held it in reverse this time like how one would grab a knife.

Wil saw his opponent went into some strange stance, "it's as if he intends to throw those daggers like kunai or shuriken."

Just then, Calios shouted, "Spirit of Asura, activate." A dark aura enveloped him and the dual daggers.

As Wil suspected, Calios threw the dual daggers towards him. As the daggers flew towards him, Wil snorted and used, "Heavenly push, 0 mana" again intending to push them away.

But, to his surprise, the daggers cut through the wind and made its way towards Wil to pierce his chest. So, he dodged them by jumping sideways at the last second.

Calios shook his head, "you can't dodge them that way…"

As he moved his hands, the dual daggers turned around and tried to attack him again.

Looking at the opponent who was comfortably standing at 100 meters far away and still able to control the daggers with ease, Wil mumbled, "I guess I need to show the difference between us."

"Gravity suppression"

Suddenly, the daggers that were about to pierce Wil from behind just fell on the ground. 

"What!" Calios was greatly shocked this time to see the daggers on the floor while feeling there's an immovable mountain sitting on it.

As Calios struggling to move them, Wil fired an Ice arrow that fell on the floor midway and froze the entire forty meter of surroundings.

Looking at the frozen opponent, Wil thought, "Hmm, looks this arrow juts freezes the enemies indefinitely.

Does it really depend only on the level difference? Hmm, no, that only works for monsters. Players have different skills, attack, and defense stats. They might also influence it. Let's just continue to test on every opponent, then…"

He quickly finished the frozen opponent with a single normal arrow.

After having fifty battles continuously, Wil got sick of it a little bit and no longer resumed his battles and took rest in the white space.

A smile appeared on Wil as he glanced at his info on the screen before him, "I really love being awesome…"

A clear frustrated look appeared on Wil's face; not because he was ranked far lower but because of the familiar names on top of the table, especially a person's name that made him remember one of his nightmares of the past life…

*Flashback*

A woman who was wearing a full legendary set with thousands of players and NPCs behind her. "Go, my dear Aelis."

*Growl* A Giant bear growled as it started to run along with them and tear apart everyone while Wil was on the ground, shivering without unable to move in fear and waiting for his death...
