While he was in thoughts, she was trying to not get sentimental attached. She suddenly started to recall the past which she had buried deep and abandoned in the wilderness in her heart, now the chains and locks were on the edge of being opened up, but she forced them to be locked again. Velika O'Sullivan was tough, but not tough enough to suffer that kind of unbearable emotional pain ever again.

They finally arrived at their destination. she jumped out of the car and felt reassured. Daniel Heinrich got out and stretched his arms, saying it had been a rough day. They then found out that the lights were on in the house. They knew they didn't forget to turn off the lights.

"They found us." Said Velika O'Sullivan. She took out her gun and approached her house quietly. Daniel Heinrich followed her. The door opened at the very moment when she was about to open it.

A man in his mid-30s with light blonde hair and light sky-blue eyes with a solemn look appeared in front of them. Daniel Heinrich wondered if this man knew how to smile at all.

"Romeo?!" Velika O'Sullivan said in surprise. She hurriedly gave him a 'welcome' hug and he kissed her on the cheeks, "I was about to call you."

Daniel Heinrich stood there and watched. He told himself Velika O'Sullivan might have a crazy and twisted dependency on her employer, or they were in a romantic bond, or she was acting like she was in a play.

"I guess I'm just on time." Said Romeo Leontes, with what Daniel Heinrich would call 'bureaucratic' smile, "How's your new partner?"

"Romeo, this is Daniel Heinrich, Heinrich, this is my boss Romeo Leontes." Velika O'Sullivan introduced them to each other joyfully.

"Nice to meet you." Romeo Leontes reached out his hand to Daniel Heinrich, "I've heard lots about you."

"Likewise." Said Daniel Heinrich. He shook Romeo Leontes' hand and glanced at Velika O'Sullivan, she glanced at him back. He sensed how she was trying to hint him about something, but he couldn't catch it.

What was she attempting to tell him? How Romeo Leontes shouldn't be trusted? Did she even trust her boss? He had more questions than he could get answers for. Daniel Heinrich was determined that he had to make Velika O'Sullivan trust him and told him about her past so that he could decide on whether he should be her ally.

But how was that even possible?

After Velika O'Sullivan poured the coffee, she sat near Romeo Leontes with a lively smile that Daniel Heinrich had never seen from her. He was getting more and more captivated by her, he had to find out the story of her.

He simply had to.

Maybe it was time to reconnect with his lost lover, Daniel Heinrich bit his lips and began planning about his game.

"We don't have much time, so I'll be frank," Said Romeo Leontes, still looked quite solemn and made him appeared to be emotionless, "Velika told me that she had already recruited you, I'm here to double-check if you are onboard."

"Good to know." Daniel Heinrich said. The way Romeo Leontes talked to him made him feel he was insignificant, and he certainly didn't appreciate that.

"Don't get me wrong." Romeo Leontes gave Daniel Heinrich a thoughtful look. He looked away and started to see the power in this man, he saw the strong discernment in Romeo Leontes.

"No, I didn't." Said him almost sheepishly.

"Ok people, nice talk, now can we please focus on our business?" Velika O'Sullivan finally broke the awkwardness in the air. Daniel Heinrich looked at her appreciatively and she leaned forward a bit, "So we found a badge today, do you recognize this, Romeo?"

She showed Romeo Leontes the badge and Romeo Leontes frowned.

"I've seen it before." Said Romeo Leontes slowly, "Somewhere in those classified files in Astoria's drawer. I didn't intend to pry but I saw it incidentally, what was that company's name again? Well, perhaps, Companion."

"Companion?" Daniel Heinrich smirked, right when Romeo Leontes said the name Companion, he knew he was one more step closer to his ambition.

"Do you know what kind of company is it?" Asked Velika O'Sullivan. Though she was looking at Romeo Leontes, Daniel Heinrich knew she was glancing at him from the corners of her eyes.

'That woman knew more than what she acted like how much she knew,' thought Daniel Heinrich.

"No, not really." Romeo Leontes shook his head.

"Well, gentlemen," Velika O'Sullivan stood up, "Time to do some research. Damn, I wish Nikki was here."

"Who's Nikki?" Daniel Heinrich rose his eyebrow.

They were surprised when they found the company information right after they typed the name in the search engine. However, the description of the company wasn't enough for them to uncover the true identity of the company. The website only addressed how Companion was an oil company founded in 1985, the current CEO was Brian Braddock.

"Brian Braddock." Daniel Heinrich mumbled to himself, he never expected his former boss dared to put his name on a public website.

"Excuse me?" Said Romeo Leontes, he squinted as if he found out the dirty affairs concealed in Daniel Heinrich's heart, "You've heard of him before?"

"No." Answered Daniel Heinrich quickly and firmly, he cleared his throat, "Never heard of him."

Velika O'Sullivan looked at his skeptically, or more like an 'I know your past' look.

Now Daniel Heinrich felt vulnerable, even his thoughts hadn't been confirmed yet. This woman could not be looked down upon. She was a good actress, and he wasn't even sure who she truly worked for anymore. What if she knew all about him and he knew nothing about her?

Dangerous, she was nothing but dangerous.
