The night went by relatively smoothly. Nothing bad happened, assuming that something bad could even happen in the hub city, but it was generally a good experience to not have my back constantly screaming at me to sleep on something that wasn't the hard cold floor.

"Rise and shine..."

Looking out the window, I blinked as the dim lights of [Yagokoro] shone down on the rest of us poor folk. It was noticeably brighter outside, signaling that it was indeed day. And with that, I now had a decent time frame of how the day and night cycle worked in this world.

[CHIME!]

Doing some light stretching, I let my body do its thing as I absently stared at my inventory. I thankfully managed to remember what the actual command was, but I managed to doze off before I truly got the chance to explore this newfound function of mine.

"Now let's see what I've got..."

[INVENTORY 1][INV2][INV3]

[INN ROOM KEY]

Looking at the whole lot of nothing staring right in front of me, the tabs at least gave some clue as to where my other stuff might be. I at least saw the room key that I got from the old lady in it, but it was still far too anemic for my standards. Then again, I'm sure it'll fill itself out one day.

[INV1][INVENTORY 2][INV3]

[EQUIPMENT][ITEM LEVEL: 2]

[WEAPON: Blanc and Noir]

[HEAD: N/A]

[BODY: Cotton Shirt iLvL:1]

[HAND: N/A]

[LEGS: Cargo Pants iLvL:2]

[FEET: Slippers iLvL:2]

Blinking at what I got, I could only guess that bar number two was the equipment page. My [Manifest] seemed to count on the weapon slot, and what I had on me right now seemed to just be what I was wearing as I was initially sucked into this world. Horrible stats, by the way, if I were to guess based on the item level, but I'm sure that'll also change as time went on.

I did find it funny that my slippers were somehow better than the shirt on my back though.

[INV1][INV2][INVENTORY 3]

[Kattleynan Leafs: 50550]

[Marquean Chips: 0]

[Vestygian Obliques: 0]

[INSIGHT: 4]

Okay? I suppose that this was the currency tab. I currently have around a whopping fifty thousand Leafs, while the rest were at zero. And... Was that [INSIGHT]? It was a currency?

"Weird..."

I shrugged at the revelation. If anything, I didn't even wanna bother with it until it becomes useful later down the line. This [INSIGHT] thing was counterintuitive, and I highly doubted that it was even an early game currency in the first place. Although, judging by the names of the other currencies, I'm pretty sure now that I was gonna leave [Kattleyna] in one way or another. Probably in the distant future.

"Okay, time to withdraw..."

Holding my finger up to my Leafs, I pressed on the haptic window in front of me, a new window popping up after the deed was done.

[Kattleynan Leafs: WITHDRAW 0/50500]

Okay? That was easy, at least.

Taking out around 2000 Leafs, the new currency suddenly materialized in my hands in a pouch before the window disappeared back into the ether again. Shaking my cash, The clinking suggested that they weren't some kind of plastic play money. Not that I even cared at this point. Money was money either way.

"[CLOSE]," I said out loud, making the window disappear before turning towards the exit. "Better check on Shizu..."

Making my way outside, I locked the door before standing in front of Shizu's room. Knowing what I did now with her personality, I was pretty sure she was still asleep inside.

Well, too bad for her.

[*KNOCK! KNOCK!*]

I ignored the subtitling appearing in front of me as I called out, "Shizu? You awake?"

...

...Nothing. Typical.

[*KNOCK! KNOCK!*]

"Wake up in there," I called out once more, putting more effort into my voice this time. "You can't just sleep through the day, you know."

Another bout of silence returned my call for attention. While I didn't particularly care about what time anyone wanted to wake up, I was still pretty stern when it came to time being wasted.

[*KNOCK! KNOCK!*]

"Wake up before I go in there, Shizu," I warned, knowing full well that her door might be locked. "I'll pull you out of bed whether you like it or not."

I waited for a few more seconds. After being greeted with nothing yet again, I placed my hand on her doorknob, turning it slightly to check if it was unlocked in the first place.

[*creeaakk...*]

And wouldn't you know it, the woman left it unlocked. Kind of suspicious in terms of behavior, but I suppose that she wasn't even used to having to lock her doors in the first place.

"Moron..."

Silently walking inside, I was immediately greeted by the exact same replica of my barebones room. With her curtains closed and lights dim, Shizu was currently... splayed open on her bed, sleeping exactly like how I'd picture a passed-out drunk would look.

I let out a sigh. Did this woman not have any decency? She was a princess for crying out loud!

"Shizu," I called out, casually sitting on what little space on the bed I managed to find as the slovenly princess practically snored. "Wake up."

"Mhhmmm...."

I clicked my tongue at the response I just got. Her voice sounded seductive as hell as she hummed in her sleep. Her hands were rubbing at her bare abdomen, her physique pretty much in full display as her kimono looked like it was about to come undone.

"Shizu!"

"Five more minutes..." she mumbled out, a lazy smile adorning her face. "I don't wanna go to court...."

I rolled my eyes, partly out of annoyance, mostly out of respect. I really wasn't one for waking people up and ruining their morning. However, she wasn't leaving me with a lot of options.

With a deep breath, I shouted, "SHIZU!"

[*THUD!*]

Predictably, the princess fell on the floor. Her sheets thankfully covered her modesty as her bare shoulder showed itself to the world.

"I'm up! I'm up!"
