Okay, this was a massive problem. "D-Do you think..."

"Hopefully, not," Guidance sat back up, any hints of tiredness blinking out of existence as she whipped out her keyboard. "And I don't even know if I can somehow stop it."

I grimaced at the potential fallout of this spur-of-the-moment thing we just did. The fact that I could get someone pregnant was something that I had never even thought of before. Even back with my first girlfriend so many years ago, we always practiced safe sex, what with us both being allied medical students and having a kid being a surefire way to kill our prospects of graduating.

"Should we wake up Shizu?" I asked out, already putting my pants back even as Guidance kept herself nude while typing into her [Manifest]. "I mean, what if it works like a Plan B pill or something?"

"And let her know that we did the deed? Not a chance," she frowned. "Besides, I'm pretty sure I'm safe. I had my period just before I got sucked into this world, and surely that counts for something."

I frowned. That... "That's not reassuring at all."

She sighed, shaking her head as she stashed her keyboard and began dressing herself up again. "Look, if it happens, then so be it. I'm not one for aborting a baby, especially if I'm the one that's growing it in the first place," she weakly chuckled, her tailcoat and fittings now back to where they belonged covering up her body. "It was my mistake, and I'm at least responsible enough to own it."

"Huh, a respectable opinion," I nodded. "Still, what would happen then?"

Guidance shrugged, "How should I know? And besides, let's not think about this right now, okay? Like I said, if it happens, then so be it."

With that, Guidance let out yet another sigh before letting herself plop down on the bed we just used to fvck each other. I was also sure that the room reeked of sex, which would be a massive problem if it ever stuck to our skin and made us both smell like each other's fluids.

"Uhm... Should we change rooms?" I suggested.

"Mhm... What for?"

"Uhh, just so we don't sleep in our own fluids?" I pointed out.

At that, Guidance weakly sat back up, her exhaustion clearly creeping back up as her half-lidded eyes glared at me in annoyance. She glared at me for a good few seconds before she let out a sigh of resignation.

"You're probably right," she breathed out. "Let's get out of here..."

Standing back up, I grabbed the keyring off the floor before making our way back out of room six. Finding ourselves back in the hallway, we both stared at the key as I held it in my hand.

"Should we..."

"I can keep it in my inventory," I offered. "If only to not lose it in case we needed it."

After all, one could never know just how many people would be boarding this [Rig] in the future. It was only for the best that we be prepared.

Pulling up my Inventory, I pushed the one key right into the interface, the metal thing dissolving into motes of light before reappearing in my inventory.

"Well, that's that, at least," I sighed out. "In the meantime, you should rest."

"I know," Guidance sighed alongside me, her hand absently rubbing her stomach in a gesture that activated some neurons in me again. "Uhm... Say, think we can do that again? Once we're free again, that is..."

The way she blushed almost made me smirk even as my heart sang her praises. There was no denying that we had something going on after what we just did. And if it did result in us having a kid, then it just meant that we had to own it even harder. Still, there were no rushing things like this, and it looks as if she agreed.

"Sure thing, Guidance," I warmly smiled at her. "We'll see where we'll end up."

To my surprise, she gave me a smile so grateful and happy that I almost thought she was blinding in her beauty. There was no way that she thought she was ugly, not even if she herself thought that looking tired and sleep-deprived somehow lessened her appeal. To which, I say absolutely not.

"That's great," she demurely smiled. "I... I look forward to it, Moriya."

She's so cute! "Likewise, Guidance."

And with that, I gave her yet another room key before letting her go to her room. Watching her open her door, we both gave each other one last smile before we parted, leaving me alone as I twirled the keyring in my fingers.

"Well, that was.... something...."

To think that I'd get to score someone as beautiful as Guidance was a surprise I never ever expected. Sure, I could've tried courting her, but I wasn't really like that. I'd prefer if we had an actual friendship first before we tried anything else, and from there we could see where we went.

"Speed..."

Letting out a sigh, I turned to the closest room there was and went inside. Immediately laying down on the bed, I pushed the keyring into my inventory before placing my hands behind my back. Taking in a breath, I prepared myself for a few boring hours of me going through my menus and finally speccing in my stuff. I was going to be awake anyway, and I might as well fiddle around and see what I got from all of the action we just went through.

"Let's see... I should-"

I blinked as the telltale glow above my head played out, my room thankfully preventing any of the fanfare from leaking outside. I just leveled up... from somehow going through a romantic route with Guidance... And it only now showed up after all was said and done...
