Yman and Almina landed on top of the ice block.

"What the hell is that?!"

The three girls had similar reactions after a huge block of ice covered the entire area surrounding the demon with him at the center.

The demon was freezing inside together with the spikes.

Ice and Maena looked at Almina. Although Almina had an affinity for ice also, they didn't notice that she did something to create such a degree of iceblock. And they both knew of how bad Almina was in controlling her ice element.

"Mhm, looks like that guy not only has a special ability, but he was also a smart one. I bet he is a famous person in the academy," Ice said.

Maena didn't know whether to laugh or cry when she heard the last line. That guy was more than famous for being an infamous person in the academy.

Almina and Yman were on top of the ice block. Actually, she was as surprised as the others.

Yman nodded to her, seeing his nod, she gripped the hilt of the sword with both hands while pointing the tip upward.

Then the sword exuded with intense heat, it was enveloped by fire.

Yman and Almina noticed the block if ice shook. They both frowned. However, Yman expected it to happen. Looks like, this amount of ice wasn't enough to completely entangle this monster.

When the shaking started to produce cracks on the ice block, Almina leaped in the air once again while Yman leaped in a different direction.

Before the block of ice completely shattered, Almina brandished her flame sword downward. Immense flame abruptly shot to devour the block of ice. It then melted it in no second.

The impact of fire on the block of ice caused an unforeseen pressure to blast. It was followed by the blinding smoke to proliferate around and was forming like a tree.

Rushing sounds reached their ears, then it was followed by smoke as dense as clouds to rise up towards the ceiling.

On the other hand, Almina was sent flying away because of the blast.

GwaaaAAARRRR!! They even heard a howl of someone in agony.

A moment later, the area where the block of ice was supposed to be standing a while ago was now like a sea of fire.

Burn smell and smoke were carried by the blast.

Maena knitted her brows, she could feel that Almina was stronger than her at this moment.

Then out of sudden, they noticed someone in the smoke, a silhouette was visible in it, standing still in a position without twitching.

A moment later everyone felt an eerie feeling.

Everyone was twitching their faces. Then, a massive pressure burst out from his body and wafted all the smoke surrounding him.

"Tsk, he was able to manifest the daffodil shield of Mr. Ultima in time!" Almina mumbled in disbelief after seeing a shiny screen appeared in front of the monster.

Her attack was blocked by it!

"Guehehehehe!"

They heard his impish glee once again. This kind of

laugh irccs each one of them. The truth was, only at this point that Yman explained his plan. His plan was almost 100% accurate, but they were too weak to defeat that monster.

Almina believed that her last attack was the finishing move to defeat the monster. She sighed in dismay. Looks like, in the end, they are still going to lose. She gave her all in that last attack. And now she was barely able to move.

When the smoke around was completely wafted and the surroundings finally cleared, everyone was gaped at what their eyes were seeing at the moment.

Even Almina and Ice gawk in disbelief.

Then, Yman's hands were enveloped by a silver glow.

The next second, the Demon Ultima felt something was dragging him away from the body he was possessing.

Then with a poof, the Demon of Possession found himself outside the body and was in spirit form.

Ultima's body fell down but was caught by Yman. It went back to normal as well.

Ice and the others were dumbfounded.

"Is he an exorcist?" Ice thought.

"Yman, was capable of that too?" Almina gawked.

"So he was a priest before?" Maena muttered.

"Miss Ice, Now!" Yman shouted.

A question mark appeared on top of the demon spirit's head.

"T-The g-grimoire!" Ice screamed weakly. Based on her voice, there was no doubt that she was exhausted.

Yman noticed the grimoire in the hand of Mr. Ult.

He then quickly took it.

Seeing the human boy took the grimoire, a foreboding feeling rose inside the demon. He quickly flew towards the big mirror on the altar.

However, he could not pass through it.

"Damn that b***h, she sealed my real body behind this mirror!" The demon exclaimed. "Looks like this ice mirror is not ordinary ice!" He muttered.

Ice shook his head at Yman. Her mana wasn't enough to cast sealing magic again.

Yman suspiciously glanced at the ice mirror on the altar, 'Did she spend most of her mana on that thing?' Yman thought before throwing the book into his storage then rushed towards the altar.

When the demon noticed him, it quickly flew to the ceiling and he passed through it.

"Tsk!" Yman clicked his tongue.

He glanced at everyone. All of them had a pale faces, mostly tired.

Yman wondered what was behind the mirror. He asked Ice, but Ice instead told her to secure this place. Even Though tired, her eyes lit up after the topic touched about the ice mirror.

Yman wondered what she meant.

"Behind that mirror is the dimensional rift, it was the entrance of the labyrinth."

"Labyrinth?"

"Labyrinth?

Maena and Almina asked in puzzlement.

"I see, so my intuition was right," Yman muttered. Maena and Almina were puzzled with his words.

"Sorry Miss Ice looks like we intruded in this place at the wrong timing," Yman added. He felt bad that because of him the sealing of the demon was disturbed.

Ice seemed to read his mind.

"No need to say sorry, actually, I don't think I will succeed even if you don't come. That demon is a Civilized demon of the Demon Sect. It's not easy to seal it at my current state.
