The Messenger of Death

While throwing punches at Gustavo, Camilla was also keeping an eye on Adrian. Whenever she threw him away, he always recovered fast enough to stop her from sending Gustavo off the battle ring.

'Should I use a bit of my bloodline ability? These two are proving to be a hassle even though my cultivation is higher than theirs.' Camilla pondered as she skillfully fought against Adrian and Gustavo.

While she was thinking, Gustavo saw an opening that he could use to attack her for the first time since they started fighting and he took it. Gustavo sent his elbow at her ribs, knowing that Adrian will be attacking at that moment too, he was quite sure that Camilla wouldn't be able to block both their attacks at the same time.

'Shit!' Camilla thought when she noticed that she left an opening that Adrian and Gustavo used to synchronize their attacks.

Adrian's sword was heading for her shoulder, from behind, while Gustavo's elbow was heading for her ribs, from the front. On impulse, Camilla activated a bit of her bloodline ability, causing 3 after images to appear before her. These after images stacked on Camilla, making it seem like there were 3 transparent Camillas on top of the original Camilla.

These after images were illusions that she used her blood QI to create. As a Sky-Fox Race member, illusions were like breathing to them, however, the difficulty of such ability depends on the sophistication and originality of the illusion created. How much, an individual can make the illusion seem real.

In Camilla's case, she wasn't at the level where her illusions could be considered Heaven defying, but it did look somewhat real to both Gustavo and Adrian.

'What!?' Adrian and Gustavo exclaimed in their minds when they saw 3 layers of Camilla on top of the Camilla that they were aiming for.

This confused them for a second, making their synchronized attack falter for a moment. This gave Camilla a little window to escape their attacks. Camilla quickly realized what she had done and deactivated her bloodline ability, removing the after images from their views.

In the process of doing that Camilla bent her knees, dodging Adrian's and Gustavo's attack narrowly.

Gustavo refused to give up though. If he tried to counter Camilla in the position that they were all in, Adrian's sword is likely to hit him. And while he knew that it wasn't going to hurt him considerably, he was still scared of the force that came with the strike.

"Gahh!!" Gritting his, Gustavo shook that fear of pain from his mind and sent the back of his fist at Camilla's head while she was still bent.

-Thum!

-Swish! Ting!

As soon as Gustavo's fist hit Camilla's head, Adrian's blade hit his shoulder. Camilla rolled to the side skillfully and also in pain. While Gustavo was hit on the shoulder by Adrian's sword and was sent flying over a few yards.

"Gus are you okay!?" Adrian asked. By the time Adrian realized that Gustavo was going to be hit by his sword, it was too late to change the trajectory of his sword. Adrian did try to reduce the strength behind his strike but was only able to reduce a quarter of it.

Camilla held the side of her head that was hit, she felt as if her head was hit with a rock. With a pained expression and anger, being hit by a person she considered to be 'lower' than her, status and Plain realm wise, Camilla released her urge to kill.

She let her bloodline ability activate again, this time on purpose. And although she had activated her bloodline ability, she made sure that it didn't affect her physical state much, hence reducing the boost in strength granted by her bloodline. Camilla still didn't want people to know that she possessed a bloodline Class, so only her eyes changed color, from grey to silver, matching her hair.

Those around that possessed a bloodline Class all felt the innate suppression that came from Camilla, but they didn't know who it came from, nor was the suppression very strong. They only knew that someone with a bloodline Class higher than theirs was present and they made a mental note not to show disrespect in any form.

Even the representatives from the royal family on the Lower Plain realm could feel the suppression too. They were the ones most disturbed by this because they could tell that the bloodline suppression outclassed theirs by far. While others could conclude that the suppression came from the royal family, since they were the ones with the highest bloodline Class present, the representatives from the royal family couldn't make such a conclusion.

They too remained neutral, so as to not catch the attention of whoever was producing the suppression.

Gustavo felt a chill run down his back, he could tell that something dangerous would be heading his way. Immediately he got on his feet and rolled to the side, dogging two daggers that were aiming for him. Now normally, with Gustavo's ability activated, he could ignore such types of attacks, the only problem would be ignoring the pain.

But with the speed and force that the daggers approached him with, Gustavo was sure that they would pierce his 'Immortal body' if he took them head-on.

-Boom!

The daggers sunk into the position where Gustavo was previously and created a crater that was 4 feet deep.

Gustavo and Adrian's eyes opened wide at the sight of this, they just realized that their knowledge of how strong Camilla was, differs from what she just exhibited by a long mile, therefore putting fear in their minds.

Camilla stepped forward and went solely for Gustavo, as he was the one that hit her head and made her furious. Even if she wasn't allowed to kill him, she was determined to make him wince in agony, aiming to break a bone or two on his body.

Seeing this, Gustavo and Adrian quickly called out; "Camron!"

Camron, who had been on a standstill with Victor and John, heard his teammates calling out to him. When he saw how fast Camilla moved, Camron was sure that Adrian and Gustavo wouldn't be able to hold their ground against her for long.

He could swear that she was almost as Alex whenever he activated his fire bloodline ability.

"Coming guys!" Camron replied.

He began thinking of ways that he could use to escape Victor and John without revealing the rest of his trump cards.

Vincent and John had figured out the weakness of his Shadow Bind skill. They thought that Camron wasn't at the level where he could bind two targets at the same time. However, they both doubted this conclusion at first, because Camron had been able to stop the tentacles multiple times, and they were 4 targets. But when it came to both John and Vincent, he could only stop one of them at a time.

After attacking Camron a few more times, the two of them concluded that Camron could stop the water tentacles because they all came from one source, Victor.

'What do I do? Should I use the Dark Shell?' Camron wondered. Dark Shell is another skill that he came up with, where he would use the darkness and shadows around him to make a shell that would cover his whole body, then act as armor for him.

'No, not yet. I can do this without using the Dark Shell, I just have to think of how fast.' Camron decided.

"Don't think we are going to let you help your friends easily now," John mentioned when he saw that Camron was looking for a chance to make his way towards Camilla.

With Camron's attention and focus on how to escape John and Victor, Camron almost made the same mistake that Camilla made. He almost lost his focus on the battles.

Instead, when he saw Victor's tentacles coming at him, an idea hit him. With a confident smile on his face, Camron welcomed the attack gracefully.

He jumped and turned his back to the tentacles as if he was going to fall on something soft and fluffy.

This action of his confused Victor who was attacking him with the water tentacles. For someone that has been dodging and making counter-attacks against him and John, this was a very dumb move to make.

Eventually, Victor couldn't figure out what Camron was planning on doing in a short time, nonetheless, Victor wasn't going to pass on a chance to hit Camron.

'Dark shell.'

Camron thought, and on the spot where the tentacles were about to hit, a thin shell of darkness that looked like a shadow appeared on Camron's back.

To avoid having another of his trump card being figured out, Camron made sure to make the shells thin, so that it would be harder for people to see, and also, make sure that what he was planning to do would work well. If the shells are too hard, it will spoil his plans.

The water tentacles hit the Dark Shell and the force behind the tentacles reduced a little before they finally broke through the Dark Shell and hit Camron on his back.

-Thum! Splash!

As they connected with Camron's back, the water tentacles pushed Camron forward and shot him towards Camilla.

And although Camron was in pain, to him, it was worth it. With his sword in his hand, he quickly arrived beside Camilla and slashed at her.
