The Messenger of Death

Chapter 224: claus clan

"Aren't you going to teach me a lesson anymore?" Al smirked at the guy. "You know, life is very funny, one minute you are the strongest in the area, and the next minute, you're not." He cackled.

"If you aren't going to come to me, should I come to you?" Al threatened.

The guy with a crystal-like mallet quickly brought out talismans for defense.

"Excuse me, are you the guardian of this petal?" The girl that called Al a pervert asked.

"He's not the guardian of the petal. If I had to take a guess…" The son of the Emperor spoke up.

Before their cultivation had been sealed, the prince had hidden his presence so some of them couldn't tell that he was there.

Now that his cultivation had been sealed and his presence revealed, those that knew of who he was, had to greet him.

Many of them there were startled to see him there. Those that knew that he was there, chose not to say anything about it, after all, it was the prince that chose to hide his presence. Revealing it would be disrespectful.

"Greetings, your highness!!" All of them there greeted. They all fell on one knee as they greeted.

The prince expected a reaction like this from the rest, but what he did not expect was that, of everyone there, only Al did not kneel nor greet him.

He was a bit stunned, but it didn't show on his face. He had a neutral expression on as he glared at Al.

['A royal blood from the celestial plain realm. Meaning a class-1 primordial beast bloodline bearer.'] Al thought.

Suddenly, a competitive spirit erupted in him, he wanted to activate his class-0 mythical bloodline suppression and see how much of a beast his blood was, compared to the royalty's own.

But he remembered what could happen if he did that and chose not to do it anymore. He calmed himself down and glared back at the prince.

"You all may rise." He uttered softly and they all did.

"If I had to take a guess, you are from the Claus Clan, right?" The Prince revealed. "That hairpin on your head, it's the Claus Clan's property. An important one for that matter, I recognize it." He added.

-Gasp!!

Many of them there gasped, including the guy that said that he was going to teach Al a lesson. Those that didn't gasp were also part of the royal family.

But from a different part. They were the children of kings, not the Emperor. Nonetheless, they didn't fear the Claus clan.

Everyone there knew who the Claus clan were, and many feared them.

['Claus clan? Is that Nana's clan?'] Al wondered.

['She has never said the name of her clan in front of us, so I don't know.'] Alex answered.

[Judging from the reaction that many of them made, this Claus clan must be quite fearsome.'] Xander commented.

Since Al didn't know if that was Nana's clan or not, he didn't answer the prince. He continued to glare at him.

Seeing that Al wasn't going to answer that question, the prince decided to change the question.

"Claus clan member or not, who are you to not kneel in front of me!?" He asked in a stern tone.

Al arched a brow at the prince. "Who are you or who do you think you are? You are not worthy enough of my knees. You are the one that is meant to kneel to me."

"Just because my cultivation is sealed doesn't mean that my bloodline abilities have been sealed too. Maybe after you have felt the pressure that comes with my bloodline, you will know that you are supposed to kneel." The Prince uttered.

Roughly 3 seconds later, The prince released the suppressing pressure that came with his bloodline.

-Caww!!!!

The cry of a phoenix echoed out as soon as he released his bloodline suppression. Everyone there, but Al, the princes, and princesses, fell to their knees.

The first time that they knelt to the prince, they fell on one knee, now all of them were on their two knees.

The children of kings were also class-1 primordial beast bloodline bearers, so they weren't really affected by the suppression that the prince brought upon this place.

But still, they could feel the pressure, just not as much as the rest that was on their knees.

Al could feel the space around him thicken like it was trying to restrict him. The last time someone tried to restrict him using their bloodline, was in the capital city of the Western continent in the lower plain realm.

When he brought the Mayor and Prime Minister's daughter to see them in the house of Representatives, to confirm to them that their daughters were safe.

The man with the goat head tried to restrict him with his bloodline, but at that time Al couldn't feel anything because of the class gap between their bloodline.

Now that he was faced with the suppression of a bloodline that was in the same class as 3 of his bloodlines, he could feel the pressure too, just like the children of Kings that were there.

All the trees within 2 kilometers started to shake and rattle like they wanted to leave their roots.

The blue leaves around them started to change color into red leaves as the temperature within 2 kilometers changed.

Al could also feel this heat and it made him frown. He had the blood of a fire dragon in him and ever since he had gotten this blood, warm temperatures haven't made him uncomfortable, until now.

He actually felt like he could get burnt by those leaves that had changed color.

"What primordial beast's blood does this prince bear?" He whispered.

['A golden crow or a phoenix.'] Xander commented.

"Your highness, please, retract your bloodline suppression!" The people on the ground pleaded.

"Huh!?" The children of kings exclaimed softly with stunned expressions on their faces

The prince ignored them, his attention was still on Al, his target whom he had failed to suppress.

"Who are you?" The Prince frowned and became vigilant of Al.

"A pervert," Al answered as sweat formed on his forehead due to the temperature of the place. "And the messenger of death." He added with a smirk on his face.

To the ears of the prince, his last statement sounded like a death threat, so he decided to attack Al.

-Fwoosh!!

The prince stretched his right arm out and a ball of fire materialized.

Seeing and sensing the heat from the prince's flames, Al could tell that the prince's flames were similar to his own, yet different. They were on the same level, yet the prince's flames felt hotter than his.

-Fwoosh!!

Al stretched his left hand and a ball of fire, same size as the prince's own, materialized.

As soon as Al's flames appeared, the temperature around there increased, it was as if it doubled.

The children of kings and the prince could tell that Al's flames were in no way inferior to what their bloodline was capable of.

This threw them further down the road of being stunned. They Haven't heard of any prince in the celestial plain realm that had low cultivation like Al's.

Nor have they heard of any class-1 primordial fire beast bloodline bearers that could match the fire of the Phoenix, except for the golden crow and a dragon.

And to them, a dragon bloodline bearer was akin to a myth, equal to the existence of class-0 mythical bloodline.

Of course, there are other primordial beasts that could match and even defeat the likes of a phoenix, golden crow, and dragons, but they resided in their respective dimensions of the universe; as most of them were habitual and territorial, and they preferred certain of types ecological mechanisms.

"I see," The prince said with a frown on his face.

"You are also a primordial beast bloodline bearer. I don't know which beast, but I can tell that it is very strong too. So strong that even when there's a difference between the purity of our bloodline, your flames are still almost as strong as mine.

You are still in the first level of the Blood Awakening Stage, and I am in the third level of the same stage. Yet, your flames burn as fiercely as mine."

"Enough talking, hearing you speak so calmly is irritating my ears. You sound too pretentious for my liking. My flames, your flames, the primordial beast bloodline of which I bear and yours.

The level we are in, in the Blood Awakening Stage, the difference between us. Let us find out who's stronger." Al licked his lips with an excited expression on his face.

"Then so be it, you shall know why we the Phoenix Imperial family are the rulers of the entire celestial plain realm." The prince agreed.

['Phoenix? I thought so.'] Al chuckled.

He started to compress the flames in his hand as he increased the heat. The fireball in his hand started to rotate clockwise and as it did, it was as if it made the leaves that were already red, redder.

The temperature there also increased. The prince was also doing the same thing that Al was doing, compressing and increasing the fatality of the fireball in his hand.

After some seconds, the two of them threw their fireballs at each other. Each of the balls travelling at a very fast speed…
