The Legend of Harry Potter Schoolmaster

Chapter 396 Sister and Sister (Part 2)

Walking out of the emerald green flames, Jon Hart appeared in the kitchen of Greengrass Manor again.

Of course, this time, he was obviously not as "worried" as he was during the previous visit.

The kitchen has lost its former tidiness and cleanliness, and it looks a bit messy; and the old house elf Emily of Greengrass Manor is also missing.

Jon patted the dust on his body, and suddenly heard a sound coming from ahead——

It was Hodder, the housekeeper in the manor, and the house elves appeared in front of Jon.

This once polite and well-mannered house elf now looks much more embarrassed... The suit on his body has become a little messy, the hair on his head is also disheveled, and his right arm is wrapped in black gauze.

"Mr. Hart..." Hodder, the house elf, greeted Jon in a hoarse voice.

Jon nodded slightly at him.

"You should be looking for Miss..." The house elf Hodder forced a smile on his face, "Come with me!"

Jon gave him a wary look, tucking his right hand into his cloak and grabbing his wand.

Then he followed the house-elf out of the kitchen.

The rest of the manor seemed to be the same as before... except that it was quiet and scary.

When Jon passed by the door of the living room, he found that there were traces of fighting... and there were bloodstains that hadn't been cleaned up.

Noticing that Jon stopped, Hodder the house-elf stopped too, explaining: "Here, my mother was trying to stop those Aurors from taking the lady..."

After a pause, he added with a bleak expression on his face, "...then, then the Aurors killed her..."

"I'm sorry!" Although he didn't have any good feelings for the old house elf Emily, after hearing the news of her death, Jon also felt a little sympathy in his heart.

"That's the punishment she deserves!" The face of the house elf Hodder quickly returned to the expressionless "politeness": "The house elf dares to attack the wizard...the execution should be executed... Especially under the premise that Madam has repeatedly warned her not to interfere."

Jon didn't agree, nor did he contradict.

He took his eyes off the blood, and asked softly, "Where is Astoria?"

"We're almost there, Mr. Hart!"

...

There were no surprises, such as a few Death Eaters rushing out of the dark space.

Every room behind the living room seemed to be quite messy... Apparently, the Aurors searched the entire manor after taking Diana Greengrass away.

When he saw that the pink wooden door did not deviate from what he remembered... Jon was still relieved.

Hodder, the house-elf, didn't announce as loudly as Jon had the last time he came here, so Jon had to walk over and knock on the door of the hut.

There was no response, only the sound of messy footsteps coming from inside the house... After a while, the door was opened.

There was also no sign of a search in the house... It seems that Dumbledore still told the Aurors not to let them harass the seriously ill girl.

He casually turned his head to look, and the house elf behind him had already left.

Turning his head again, he saw Astoria's pale face.

Astoria Greengrass opened the door, when she saw the person standing outside the door... There was a look of surprise on her face first, and then a kind of inexplicable fear soon...

She took a few steps back involuntarily, almost tripping over a small bench on the ground.

"May I go in?" Jon asked softly, smiling as wide as he could.

Astoria froze for a moment, then nodded.

She quickly looked around, then trotted over and brought a chair over——

"You sit here...Jon...Jon..." Astoria stammered.

...

There is no doubt that Astoria already knew what was going on.

This is not surprising, the family has such a big problem - the mother was taken into Azkaban, the whole manor was searched from beginning to end; the Daily Prophet did not "seal" this matter .

A smart girl like Astoria can obviously guess a lot of things.

Sitting face to face, there seemed to be a gap between the two of them.

Then, Astoria ran to the table, bent down, and tried to make a cup of black tea for Jon... But in a hurry, she knocked over the pot containing the black tea powder, and almost scalded herself with hot water ...

"Reparo!"

After recovering from all the bad things, Jon gently took Astoria's arm.

Astoria trembled visibly.

"Come and sit!" Jon said gently.

Astoria avoided Jon's sight, then nodded obediently.

"My mother..." After sitting down, she took the initiative to speak.

Jon covered her mouth lightly, and shook his head at her: "It's nothing..."

Astoria's eyes were full of tears: "But..."

"Just pretend nothing happened... Now that it's over, don't mention it again, okay?" Jon said forcefully.

"I...I..." Astoria seemed to want to say something else.

"Be obedient!" Jon gently stroked her golden hair, feeling her body gradually calm down.

...

No chat, no mention of what happened before...

"How's your health?" Jon asked softly.

Astoria nodded first, then finally shook his head.

"The situation is getting worse, isn't it?" Jon asked calmly... In fact, he was not surprised. After such a big change, let alone an ordinary fifteen or sixteen-year-old girl, even a strong girl would What's more, in the depths of Astoria's soul, there is still a monster just around the corner.

Astoria bit her lip, she broke free from Jon's arms, then walked to the bookshelf and came over with a vase.

It is the branch of the tree of the soul.

She hesitated for a moment, then whispered, "Jon...you take it...and we shall part..."

"Silly girl, how could it be..." Jon smiled, and then said in the most gentle tone: "I came here this time to take you away?"

"Take me...take me away?" Astoria repeated blankly.

"Yeah, wouldn't you?" Jon blinked.

"I...I..." Astoria's tone seemed to be struggling.

"That's the default!"
