The Legend of Harry Potter Schoolmaster

Chapter 142 The Empty Office (Part 1)

At six fifty-five in the evening, Jon Hart came to the door of Professor Dumbledore's office again.

This is the third Sunday after Halloween, and his third "confinement" in the principal's office.

The familiar ugly stone monster was still lying at the door of the office, sleeping soundly.

"Hello...milk toffee!" Jon called it.

"The password has been changed, it's now 'Lemon Lollipop'!" said the Stone Monster while yawning.

"Oh, alright... lemon lollipops..." Jon nodded.

The Golem made a way, and after waiting for Jon to walk past, he lay there and fell asleep again.

As he stood on the escalator, Jon pondered what the confinement needed to do?

In the first confinement, Dumbledore took Jon to recall the first time he met Nick Lemay and discovered a Ukrainian iron-bellied dragon's lair with Lemay; On Sunday, Dumbledore pulled out a memory of his old friend Newt Scamander in 1927, when Mr Scamander traveled to Paris to complete Dumbledore's mission and was confronted by a man named 'The Strange One'. Cafe Museum' Mystery Circus...

So what about this time?

A curious Jon pushed open the door of the Oval Office.

...

The noise inside is like coming to a vegetable market.

The voice came from the wall covered with portraits of the principal.

In the portrait on the topmost floor, two principals are fighting with wands as if they are duel; The soul-penetrating singing makes people shudder; and in a portrait on the lower floor, four principals gather together, chattering and playing bridge...

For a split second, Jon even wondered if he had gone the wrong way.

"Oh haha, here comes our great Hogwarts warriors!" came the sharp sarcasm from Jon's left and right.

Jon turned to look and found Headmaster Phineas Black, looking at him with schadenfreude.

"Hello, Headmaster Black!" Jon bowed slightly, bowing to him.

"Next Tuesday will be the first project. May Merlin bless you brat, so that you don't get bullied too badly by that big guy!" Phineas Black said with a wicked smile.

"Can I ask, where is Professor Dumbledore?" Jon asked softly.

"Albus went to Kampala!" A silver-haired witch rushed over and kicked Phineas Black aside: "I went to an important meeting of the International Federation of Magicians, he was tonight tonight. won't come back!"

"Hello, Headmaster Derwent!" Jon bowed to her as well.

The silver-haired witch Dalys-Derwent also waved her wand to the sky in return.

"Then I should go back and come back another day?" Jon asked tentatively.

"Of course, let's go...don't bother..." Phineas Black got up and shouted hastily.

"Shut up!" Principal Derwent glared at him coldly, then turned around and said to Jon in a kindly manner: "Of course you can choose to leave, but you can also stay and play, it's rare that Albus is not in the office, Let's have some fun!"

"Carnival..." Jon glanced at the principals on the wall who were dueling, making noise, and playing bridge, and pouted, "As expected!"

He took a few steps in and saw the bright red phoenix resting on its perch.

"Fox?" Jon greeted softly.

Phoenix Fox raised his head slightly, it nodded towards Jon, and then glanced at the wall full of portraits with some disgust.

Jon continued to hang out in Dumbledore's office, observing the silverware and other magical objects.

But he was very curious and didn't touch it.

When he came to the Pensieve, Phineas Black's familiar voice suddenly sounded from one side:

"The principal's books are hidden in the bookcase under the stupid bird!" Phineas Black said proudly: "You are free to go and look it up!"

"Can I just turn it over?" Jon asked in surprise.

"Albus is not that kind of stingy person!" Phineas-Black rolled his eyes at him: "Besides, he wasn't the only one hiding the books in there!"

"Thank you!" Jon said gratefully.

...

Jon slowly approached the bookcase below Fox.

When he walked to the bookcase, Phoenix let out an unpleasant scream, glared at him fiercely, then flew to another perch, and continued to close his eyes.

Jon breathed a sigh of relief and gently opened the bookcase.

The space inside was much larger than Jon had imagined, with at least a few hundred books, which were placed in various categories on each bookshelf.

Jon picked up the most conspicuous book at random. At a glance, the title of the book was "Traps and Locks, A Guide to Lockpicking" - Jon was stunned for a moment, what the hell, is there a headmaster who came to Hogwarts in his previous life Be a thief.

Throwing away the previous one, Jon picked up another "Anthology of the Ancient Rune Alphabet", flipped through two pages at random, and was more confused; Jon was only at the most elementary level of learning of rune script. At this stage, I can't understand the content of this in-depth study at all.

He picked up the third book, a strange book with a brown and black leather surface...

When he saw the title of the book, Jon was stunned - "The Secret of Cutting-edge Black Magic".

"Could this be fishing..." Jon thought to himself.

At the same time, he secretly glanced around. The principals were still playing bridge, and those who were dueling were still dueling. Only the soul singer seemed to be tired of singing, or was blocked by others and could no longer sing.

No one pays attention to themselves.

Jon thought it was better to be on the safe side.

He didn't open the book "The Secret of Cutting-edge Black Magic", but brought it to Principal Dalys-Derwent.

"Headmaster Derwent." Jon pretended to be frightened: "There's actually a book about dark magic here!"

"What's wrong with black magic?" Dalys-Dewent gave him a languid glance: "If you want to deal with black magic, you must first understand it; otherwise, what do you use to deal with it..."

"Yeah!" Phineas Black also came over: "The strength of the power does not depend on its own, but on its owner!"

"For example, some witches, who never use black magic, are more frightening than the most vicious dark wizards..." He couldn't help but add.

"What do I think you're alluding to, Blake?" Dales-Dewent turned her head.

"I didn't say anything, Dai Lisi..." Phineas-Black quickly ran to another portrait.

"You stop for me!"

The two principals chased each other, one sentence out of Jon's sight.

Jon glanced at them, dumbfounded, and then glanced at the brown black book in his hand.

"Since you said so..."

He gently opened the "Cutting-edge Black Magic Revealed" in his hand.

Sure enough, it's cutting-edge black magic, Jon turned the pages-

He saw nine ways to make an Inferi; how to use the Cruciatus to make your target suffer the most; a few ways to keep yourself from being attacked when raising a basilisk...

Jon didn't dare to look any further, just glanced briefly and turned to the next page.

And... Jon couldn't help frowning:

"Chapter 11, the manufacturing method and usage skills of Horcrux!"
