The Hunter That Returned From Hell

“Stop right there, if you move any closer, we will be forced to attack you. If you don’t seek any trouble I would advice you to leave immediately.” Said one of the bodyguards of Moon Jung to the white masked man. He still needed to make sure that the other party is hostile before making their move, he didn’t want there to be any misunderstanding. So, he still had to make his point clear.

“So, you are one of the important members from the hunter’s association, huh? It seems our mission this time is simple, we just need to take care of a kid.” Said the white masked while looking towards Moon Jung.

As soon as the white man stopped speaking, the atmosphere turned heavy, everyone became tensed. People from both sides were ready to strike at any moment. Moon Jung too was ready with his sword to defend himself from any enemy attacks. The body guard who spoke first made some kind of hand sign and all four of the bodyguards changed their position to something that was most suitable to protect Moon Jung.

“I am a very generous man though; I will let you choose what kind of future you want for yourself. If you want to live you can back down right now and surrender your weapon, but if you want to die with that kid and be buried here, where no one will know where you are, then keep your weapons and be ready to face us. Don’t blame us for being merciless if you choose to fight.” Said the white masked man to Moon Jung’s bodyguards.

Even after the warning no one moved from their spot, it was almost as if they were statues. People would have mistaken them for statues if not for their moving eyes. While the white masked man was talking, the bodyguards were assessing their situation and the enemies at the same time. Thy were evaluating their weapons, armour and their posture. Weapons and armour usually show what kind of group they belonged to, if they were a part of hunter’s high-level society and their posture shows the experience they had in these kinds of situation.

Rom preliminary checks it seemed like the group of people belonged to a mid-sized guild at the least, they weren’t able to guess the guild they belonged to just from their weapons and armours. They also seemed to be very experienced in these kinds of situation, from what they could tell, they believed that these people belonged to some mid sided assassin’s guild.

“So, you have decided to die along with that kid, huh? You must be paid very well, for you to be willing to give up your life for him. well, if that’s the decision that you came to even after I gave you the chance, then I won’t have to feel guilty for killing you all. HAHAHAHAHAH……………” the white masked man started laughing maniacally after looking at the bodyguard’s reaction. While he was laughing, he suddenly stopped. What followed was creepy silence, the silence felt like calm before the storm.

“ATTACK!” yelled the white masked man, as soon as the other assassins heard his command, they rushed towards the group. Only the white masked man was standing on the same spot watching over the fight. From just the looks of things it seemed like the bodyguards were heavily outnumbered. There were just 4 bodyguards whereas there were 10 assassins, but even after seeing the clear gap in numbers, the bodyguards didn’t back down from the fight. They would rather die than take a step back from a battle, that was how they were trained by the hunter’s association. And even if they lost their lives, they knew that their family would be taken care of by the Hunter’s association. That was the reason why they were even willing to give up their lives for the hunter’s association.

Only other group who guaranteed protection of the family was Black Market, besides these two no other groups provided benefits to the dead hunter’s family. that was one of the reasons why most of the young hunters from poor background, joined mostly Hunter’s association or Black Market. For some of the new hunters, guilds were second option. Most of the hunters from the poor background wanted to make sure that their families wouldn’t suffer even if they die so they usually joined the hunter’s association or the Black Market. But the first option for most of the people was Hunter’s association, because there were a lot of restrictions that came with joining the Black Market.

As the enemies charged towards the bodyguards, they all started to block the enemies from entering their encirclement. Most of the bodyguards were forced to defend against the attack from two people, which was very hard on its own, the body guards were having hard time maintaining the defensive line. The bodyguards were faced with enemies that closely matched their own level, which was extremely difficult for some of them, if they let even one of the enemy breaches the formation, they knew that moon Jung’s life would be in grave danger as he didn’t have the proper level or the skills to fight against these people.

The bodyguards were somehow able to keep the formation stable for 10 minutes, but what scared the bodyguards the most was that there was, there was still a person who hadn’t joined the fight and top of tat from his manners it seemed that he was the leader of the group. They were having a very hard time defending against these people, they couldn’t even imagine what would happen if that white masked man decided to join the fray.

Inside the group of bodyguards there was a rookie who didn’t have that much of an experience fighting against other people, but he was still hanging on. He still was able to defend against the two who were attacking from both sides. no atter how much he defended; he was getting pushed back because of the enemies’ attacks.

One of the assassins noticed the fact that, the man was the weak point of the group, so he decided to attack that man instead of the one he was fighting all along. But if he wanted to break the stalemate, he knew that his attack would have to be a sneak attack, so he quickly devised a plan.

The assassin attacked the man he was fighting, the attack he made was very slow, so the bodyguard didn’t have trouble defending against the attack. The assassin then pushed his body against the bodyguard, bodyguard panicked as the assassin was blocking his field of vision as he was fighting against one more assassin. The bodyguard quickly pushed the assassin, the assassin didn’t even try to dodge the push from the bodyguard. When he got pushed, the assassin, gave himself a boost by pushing himself to the ground. The assassin moved so swiftly no one doubted the act of the bodyguard.

The assassin fell behind the bodyguard, that was the exact location he wanted to attack from, this was like a god given opportunity for the man, he didn’t waste anymore of his time and launched a sneak attack behind the bodyguard.
