The Evil God of Hogwarts

Chapter 178 Batman?

"We have to..."

Before Xing Ze finished speaking, several lights lit up on the door and windows of the church.

"Pretend I didn't say anything." He curled his lips and began to focus on the magic at hand.

Corbett hid the dagger in the sleeve of his robe, and then walked slowly towards the aisle. He had no intention of joining the battle.

The fireball cast by Ellie shot at the priest who was about to leave, but the shadow in the smoke suddenly moved and blocked the fireball with its bat-like wings.

The heat wave brought by the flames blew away the smoke and dust, and the monster finally revealed its appearance. Dark, rough, and creepy, the thing had a smooth and oily skin like a whale, and a pair of nasty sharp corners bent inward.

Its claws were ugly, its nails were as sharp as razors, and a barbed tail swung behind it like a whip.

And the most disgusting thing is that this thing neither speaks nor laughs, nor even screams. Because where the face should be, there is only a dark and smooth area.

Ellie's eyes suddenly opened wide, and she covered her mouth with her hand, her expression as disgusting as if she had eaten a fly. The contamination of the dream came so suddenly and quickly, leaving her completely defenseless.

This fear rising from her heart stirred her whole insides.

Xing Ze was not affected at all. Having experienced dream objects many times made him immune to this level of pollution.

Magical energy gathered in the wand, as if it sensed danger, the humanoid bat monster spread its wings and flew into the sky. Although the huge wings were moving, there was no sound of fluttering.

The shadow passed over the church's beams, then swooped down upon the wizard. Xing Ze's magic has just been completed.

A gust of wind whipped up from the tip of the wand, but the monster did not retreat. It broke through the wind and swept towards Xing Ze with its barbed tail.

Blue Beak jumped up from Xing Ze's arm and turned into a strong shield to block the powerful blow.

Xing Ze's arms trembled slightly, and the strong wind weakened a bit. Fortunately, the eldest lady recovered from her nausea. She recited a spell and the wand turned into a purple spear.

The bat monster was obviously very smart. It flapped its wings to escape the strong wind, but the wind direction changed and the whirlwind trapped it in the air.

Ellie fired the purple spear in her hand directly at the monster, along with her wand. The high-level Perks spear skill pierced the air like a missile, flying away with a crackling sound.

The silent monster no longer struggled, but took advantage of the wind to turn around. Its body dodged the spear, but its right wing still had a big hole.

The magical energy instantly evaporated anything it came in contact with, and a stench spread throughout the church.

The unbalanced monster was blown to the ground by the strong wind, and the smashed wooden benches were blown to the wall behind.

It tried to grab the ground with its sharp nails, and the floor was suddenly flying. In addition to leaving a few shocking scratches on the cement floor, the monster was still blown hard to the wall.

The dust and lime on the roof fell like snowflakes. Xing Ze put away his wand. The strong wind was only used to block the monster's flying ability so that it could lose its advantage in the air.

He waved his wand again and smashed all the rows of benches towards the monster. Then he grabbed it in the air, and the wooden benches tightened one after another, and the crackling sound of the wood breaking resounded throughout the church.

Before the monster struggled out of the bench, Xing Ze made Blue Beak swallow another piece of black iron, and then he took out two exploding cigars and threw them directly at the monster.

The slender black tail swept across, and the cigar exploded in the air. It didn't hurt it much, but at least it dragged the long tail.

Xing Ze continued to lean forward and sprint, his blue beak turning into a long sword attached to his hand. The dark tail struck again, and he jumped to avoid it. The long tail hit the ground, shattering a row of tiles, and the flying stones hurt Xing Ze's cheek.

The monster finally stood up from the ruins of the bench. It used its claws to pick up half of the chair next to it and threw it towards Xing Ze.

Xing Ze waved his magic wand, and the bench was shattered by magic. He jumped up suddenly, dodging the long tail that swept towards him.

The long sword in his left hand stabbed the monster's head. The bat monster wanted to dodge, but as his body sank, the bench beside him became more fragmented, and the ground under his feet began to crack.

The eldest lady spit out the spell in a cold tone, and the gravity magic suppressed the monster in place.

The long sword pierced the monster's face and emerged from the back of its head, causing purple liquid to splash.

"I can't hold it anymore," Ellie cried.

Xing Ze drew out his long sword and activated the defensive spell stored in Blue Beak's body. The stabbing tail penetrated his armor, but there was a brief pause for Xing Ze to turn his head to avoid it.

But what he didn't expect was that the long tail suddenly pulled back, and the barb pointed directly at Xing Ze's chest.

The blue beak automatically transferred from Xing Ze's hand to his chest, and the barb stabbed Xing Ze's chest, but failed to move forward at all.

Xing Ze was thrown out by the huge force, knocking down a wax stand and several benches along the way. Finally, he was caught by a green curtain hanging from the top of the church.

The thick curtain softened the force of his collision with the wall, so that his back didn't hurt as much.

The monster that lost the restraint of gravity immediately pounced on Xing Ze, and the wounds on its face did not seem to have much impact on it.

Ellie's magic was obviously too late. Her eyes widened in horror and she could only recite the spell as fast as she could.

Xing Ze jumped up from the ground, and the blue beak turned into a shield wall according to his will. The monster's claws scratched across, making a sharp scraping sound and bringing up a lot of sparks.

Before it launched its second attack, the blue beak suddenly contracted and then shot out like a spring, piercing the monster's chest.

A strange stench rushed towards Xing Ze, making him want to vomit. The monster covered the wound and raised its long tail like a scorpion.

But several invisible blades cut off the tail, and Ellie's magic finally caught up.

The blue beak turned into a raven and launched the final blow from behind. It rushed towards the back of the monster's head, got in from the previous wound, and then flew out from the front.

The monster's head was like an exploding firework. It staggered back a few steps and then fell to the ground.

Xing Ze looked at the body that fell to the ground and exhaled a long, heavy breath. He stretched out his hand to press his back, and then felt a burst of pain.

Ellie walked towards Xing Ze panting, her eyes fixed on the monster, "What the hell is this?"

"Batman who evolved in the wrong direction?" Xing Ze made a joke, but it failed to elicit laughter. The eldest lady was confused when she heard this.

"Well, I don't know either." Xing Ze said, "But I am sure it should be a dream object, not completely integrated with the dream object."

"What do you mean not fully integrated?"

Xing Ze pointed to the monster's wrist. There was a wooden cross hanging there, the same as the one on the wrist of the monk who brought them in.

The eldest lady understood instantly and took a breath, "There will be a new character in my nightmare."

After saying that, she looked at Xing Ze and asked aloud: "Can you still leave?"

"It's okay, it's just a minor injury." Xing Ze took out a bottle of healing potion from the ring and drank it. "Find a way to leave this place. If one of these comes again, I won't be able to bear it."

The eldest lady looked around, shook her head and said, "The entire church has been cast under a spell. Unless the spell can be broken, we can't get out."

"Try using the back door?" Xing Ze suggested, "Maybe the priest forgot to cast a spell on the back door when he left."

Ellie nodded, and the two of them cautiously headed towards the back door.
