Chapter 5 - He is coming home with me!

“Long time no see, Senpai.”

Beautiful black eyes, long and beautiful eyelashes.

Shoulder-length, shiny black hair like reminiscence of the night sky.

She was wearing a stylish black T-shirt with slits at the shoulders and chest, and jeans that fit snugly on the legs. The body curves could be easily seen because of the tight clothes she was wearing.

While wearing such an adult and seductive outfit, she approached me tapped on my shoulder with a smile adorning her beautiful face which woke me up from my stupor.

I was too surprised by the sudden reunion and couldn’t utter a single word.

“……”

“Hey, are you okay, Senpai?”

She waved her hand near my wide-opened eyes, trying to confirm if I was conscious. And then, I realized.

“…. Ah, you are the girl from that time.”

“Do you remember me? I am Suzune Mitoma, the one you helped out during that subway incident five years ago!”

Yes, there was no doubt about it, that she was the same girl, and right now she was standing in front of me while smiling cheerfully.

“Oh, I remember! Of course! … but, why are you here….”

But still, I never thought I would meet her again in a place like this. I thought she must have forgotten about me and was living happily with someone else.

This world truly has many coincidences.

“Of course, I came to meet you, senpai.”

“Me? “

“Yes … I made a promise, after all.”

“…. A promise?”

“Come on, senpai, didn’t we make a promise at that time?”

I was still confused about what Mitoma-san was talking about, and I tried to recall the old memories. I had met her five years ago, but it was not for long. It was just for one day. And we only talked properly when we parted…

Then, a phrase came to mind like a shock.

“Yes… Well, this is a goodbye for now. Hopefully, we’ll see each other again somewhere… definitely”

With the image of Mitoma-san waving goodbye from the police station, the words that she told me resurfaced to my mind.

Is it really possible that she remembered that promise? And that she came here just to definitely meet me?

What, seriously? So it wasn’t a coincidence after all?

“Do you remember me now?”

“Ah, yeah… but I thought you wouldn’t take it much seriously and I forgot about it.”

“Did it cause any trouble for you?”

I said a thoughtless thing, and Mitoma-san looked sad for a moment. Looking at her face, I quickly corrected myself.

“No, no! It’s not like that! It’s just that, it’s been a long time since we met and I’m happy to be able to meet you again…”

“Hehe~… me too, I’m happy to meet you, senpai.”

“Ah… yeah”

“You’re not happy to meet me, senpai?”

“Of course I am. I’m happy”

“Thank you~”

With that, Mitoma-san smiled happily while her cheeks were dyed in a red hue.

Well, it’s true that I was happy to see her again after so long. After all, if I hadn’t acted that day, she might have died. Seeing her smiling so adorably like this makes me feel relieved deep down. I did what I had to do, and it’s good that I was able to save her.

It’s definitely true that there were a lot of things that happened that time, and it was only for a moment, but it was still hard to keep calm and not get caught up in the news on TV or the internet. So, it’s good that we can talk like this now.

It’s a good opportunity. I have a lot of questions too, like why she was here, and where she went to middle school and high school.

Talking about memories is not as interesting as I thought.

I ordered a random juice from the manager and gave it to Mitoma-san. She drank it without any complaints with her cheery pink lips.

I can’t help but think, why is she so s**y? But I immediately shook my head to let the perverted thoughts stay away from my mind.

First, I’ll ask what department she’s in.

“Speaking of which, what department are you in, Mitoma-san?”

“Me?”

“Yeah, I’m in the Engineering branch, do you hate it perhaps?”

“Hate it? No way! Um, I’m in the foreign languages department of the Humanities branch.”

“Humanities? So, is that why you’re with Shiina-san?”

“Ah, Shiina-san…”

When I said those words, her eyes turned dark like a deep dark abyss.

Did I say something wrong?

“Is everything okay?”

“Hmm, yeah! Sorry! I’m… just…”

“I see.”

“Yes, we’re in the same branch.”

“Oh, I see… I guess you both seem to be pretty close to each other, so that makes sense.”

“(Not that we’re really close or anything, she is actually poisonous for us.)”

She whispered something in a very low tone that I couldn’t understand at all.

“Did you say something?”

“No, I didn’t. We only cooperate in presenting papers at overseas conferences and such because we’re in the History department.”

It’s good that my juniors get along. At my university, there are a lot of connections between the departments.

“So, what department are you in, senior?”

“I’m in the Department of Electronic Information.”

“Wow, that’s amazing. I’m really bad with computers.”

“Ah, well, I wasn’t that knowledgeable about it before I entered either.”

“But it’s still amazing, right? I really admire people who can study science subjects!”

“Haha… well, I think it’s amazing that you’re proficient in English, Mitoma-san.”

“I’m only good at English! “

“Well then, maybe you can teach me English when I present at conferences.”

“Then I’ll have you teach me math in return!”

“I don’t think it’ll be of any use as I am not very good at it.”

“That’s okay! It’s just a return for your help”

“Well, I guess that works.”

“Yes!”

It’s nice to be able to have a casual conversation again with her.

I never thought that our encounter at that time would lead to this. I truly feel happy seeing her laugh cheerfully and expressively.

Then, we continued talking about old stories and what we were doing from that day onwards, and our conversation became lively.

After settling down a bit and taking a sip of our respective drinks, Mitoma-san said to me,

“By the way, senpai?”

“Hmm?”

“Won’t you teach me about university life?”

“Huh…?”

Come to think of it, we’ve only talked about old stories. And then, Mitoma-san puffed her cheeks in annoyance as she looked at me.

It seemed like she was jealous of Shiina-san. To be honest, her current expression was kinda cute like that.

“S-sorry, I got carried away talking about old times…”

“Muuu…”

“Ahaha… sorry, sorry.”

“W-well, I also… I want to go to your part-time job, senpai.”

“As a student or as a teacher?”

“As a teacher, of course! I’m also in trouble because I don’t have a part-time job.”

“Haha. I see. I’ll introduce you to one later.”

“Yay and I hope you won’t tease me anymore.”

“Sorry about that again!”

With an upward glance, while still being angry, Mitoma-san approached me with a smile leaking from her face.

In this way, the welcome party also came to an end, and the time was around 11pm. The seniors who were a little drunk were talking about having an after party.

“Are you going back to your home, senpai?”

“I don’t know. It looks like it’s going to be a hassle with the seniors who are drunk.”

“I see… then I’ll also go home.”

“Okay, will you let me walk you to your home?”

“E-eh… such a thing… ah, um.. senpai?”

“Hmm?”

“By the way, you’re good at using computers, right?”

“Well, yes, but… do you have any problems?”

“Yes… I don’t understand how to use that software and some other things related to it.”

“Ah, I see. It might be a little difficult. Sure, I don’t mind helping you.”

“Thank you very much!”

But still, now that I think of it, I am going to a  girl’s house. I am a little nervous.

[PoV] Suzune Mitoma :

Hehe~ Senpai is coming to my house.

Just thinking about it makes me wet in anticipation…

Ah, that’s right… I prepared some rubber just in case, if things turn out to ‘that’ way. After all, I want to give my first time to senpai.

But… I shouldn’t be in a hurry. I have to become friends with him properly from today onwards.

But still, I wonder if senpai will attack me in excitement because of the underwear that I left to dry on purpose.

But still, senpai… is really really cool.
