The Alchemist of Harry Potter

Chapter 1,340: Found the wrong opponent

Late at night, the oak door of Hogwarts Castle suddenly opened, and a black shadow slid out of the castle like a big bat, not caring about the pouring rain above its head, and walked along the path towards the main door of Hogwarts.

"Owner!"

Snape, who was wearing a cloak, leaned slightly towards the figure walking under the rain curtain and respectfully greeted Voldemort's arrival.

"You did very well."

Voldemort floated past Snape and crossed the muddy playground towards the Black Lake. He did not choose to hide what Snape was going to do, because Death Eaters already knew the purpose of his trip, and there was no point in hiding it.

The two walked around the lake in the dark. The black water showed signs of overflowing, and the surroundings were dark and cold.

They stopped before and after, and a white marble tomb appeared in sight. Voldemort raised the yew wand that had been used for many years, with a pleasant smile on his lips.

Dumbledore's tomb was cracked from head to toe after the wand was violently slashed from the air.

Voldemort stepped forward and looked at Dumbledore's almost perfectly preserved body, suddenly feeling ridiculous.

You are dead and I am alive.

Now your wand belongs to me too.

Voldemort reached for the wand that Dumbledore was holding on his chest and pulled it out.

Snape stood aside and watched quietly, watching Voldemort gracefully raise his wand and wave it gently like a baton.

A spell suddenly shot out from the tip of the wand and disappeared into the thick cumulonimbus clouds overhead. Countless lightning bolts flowed between the dark clouds, and then turned into a dazzling thunderbolt, illuminating the dark night.

Voldemort, who had his eyes closed to feel the power of the wand, suddenly opened his scarlet eyes, with unconcealable disappointment on his flat, snake-like face.

"No, there is no difference." Voldemort said softly, "This wand... has nothing particularly outstanding. Compared with the wand I bought from Ollivander many years ago, I can't feel any difference. Just an ordinary wand."

"Master, maybe this is not the legendary death stick." Snape reminded in a low voice, "Dumbledore once had the same extraordinary power as the master. I think he probably did not rely on the wand like the master."

"Maybe, maybe not."

Voldemort did not see Snape, nor did he explain his speculation to Snape.

If this was really a death stick, but it couldn't perform the legendary miracles for him, there was only one possibility: he was not the legal owner of the wand. His yew wand obeyed him perfectly, but the wand in his hand that had originally belonged to Dumbledore did not.

The Death Rod only belonged to the wizard who killed its previous owner, which meant that the wand now belonged to Snape.

If he was to become the rightful owner of the wand, that meant killing Snape.

Before confirming that this was the Death Stick, Voldemort would not kill his loyal servant because Snape was still valuable to him. After all, there were not many Death Eaters loyal to him back then.

If this is really the death stick, he will kill him if he kills him. The death stick is more important to him.

But if you kill the wrong Snape, there will be very bad consequences.

Voldemort wasn't going to take the risk, and it wasn't worth it.

He needs to find Ollivander and confirm from the wand maker whether this is the legendary death stick.

Voldemort left, taking the wand and hurried away.

After Voldemort completely disappeared, Snape waited by the lake for a while, then waved his wand to repair Dumbledore's tomb, and finally quietly returned to the castle without any light.

"He went away, split open the grave, and took your wand."

Snape stood in front of Dumbledore's portrait and calmly explained what had happened.

"He doesn't seem happy with the wand, though."

"It's normal. That's not the Elder Wand he's looking for." Dumbledore didn't seem surprised by this and said easily, "I think he probably went to Ollivander to confirm whether my wand was the legendary one." The Elder Wand. Unfortunately, Voldemort didn't know that Ollivander had been rescued."

"Ollivander was rescued?"

Snape was also very surprised when he heard the news, "Someone attacked the Yaxley family's castle, but..."

"It's Mr. Anderson. His reaction is really fast. You should thank him, otherwise your life may be in danger." Dumbledore said gently.

"Why is my life in danger?" Snape asked in confusion.

"You should be very aware of the history of the Elder Wand. I bet that once Voldemort thought it was the Elder Wand, he probably thought that the Elder Wand belonged to the wizard who killed its previous owner, and he got rid of you to ensure that he became that wand. The real master." Dumbledore explained to Snape with a smile.

Snape said nothing. He suddenly realized one thing: he had killed Albus Dumbledore.

If that was really the legendary death stick, he would definitely die. Even if he is Voldemort's most proud right-hand man, he must die, because Voldemort needs to get rid of him if he wants to completely control the old Death Rod.

However, judging from Dumbledore's reaction to this matter, it should not be the legendary death stick. Otherwise, how could Voldemort easily obtain the wand?

While Snape breathed a sigh of relief, he couldn't help but sympathize with Yaxley who had lost Ollivander. That guy was probably going to be unlucky.

In fact, as Snape expected, Voldemort was indeed furious after knowing that Yaxley had lost Ollivander, and Yaxley received the most severe punishment in his life.

Although Voldemort also knew that this matter was not entirely Yaxley's problem. After all, no one expected that the Order of the Phoenix would attack the castle in the middle of the night, he still couldn't help but feel angry. Not only was he angry that Yaxley had given Ollivander to Lost it, and still angry that the nest was so easily invaded, and Harry Potter actually participated in the invasion.

How dare he do this when he wasn't hiding like a mouse.

After Voldemort calmed down, he realized something was wrong. As soon as he took away Dumbledore's wand, Ollivander was rescued.

Is this a coincidence?

Voldemort looked at the wand in his hand and narrowed his eyes slightly. The Order of the Phoenix alone could not do this, and they were not that courageous, but they could not tear apart the castle's protective magic in a short time.

But what if it was that mudblood controlling the situation behind the scenes?

Everything seemed to make sense.

"Master, if we..."

Voldemort stared at Yaxley for a moment. After the latter shut up in fear, he said, "I need you to find other wandmakers. Don't let me down again."

"I immediately sent people to arrest him, but the Order of the Phoenix..." Yaxley hesitated.

"What are you going to do?"

"It's not difficult to get Harry Potter to surrender himself, as long as we take action against his friends. I heard... people say that Potter seems to have a good relationship with that big guy Hagrid." Yaxley is still working hard. Show your own value: "Perhaps, find Shuyuan www.zhaoshuyuan.com and we can force him to show up in the name of executing Hagrid."

Voldemort certainly knew Harry Potter's weaknesses and had a way to make Potter come to his door, but now he couldn't be sure what would happen if he used the big Hagrid as bait.

If that mudblood was involved, would he be able to kill him?

Once the plan fails...

No, as long as Potter can be killed, as for that damn mudblood, it can be dealt with another day.

Damn it, that mudblood really became a formidable enemy.

After Voldemort found that there was no other way to defeat the mudblood who also had extraordinary power, he became more and more afraid of that guy and realized that a duel might be unavoidable, just like Dumbledore and Grindelwald.

Because of this, Voldemort has never been more hungry for power than he is now.
