Ou Yangqian came to her when Wu Xuehan had just left. She looked at Wu Xuehan and said to Tang Li with concern, "Is she your roommate?"

Tang Li replied with a question, "Have you come to the wrong college?"

"No." Ou Yangqian smiled. "I came to see you today."

"I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me."

Ou Yangqian was quiet for a few seconds. Then, she asked her, "Ah Li, are you still angry at Yuan'er?

"Yuan'er called me yesterday and told me about the movie." Ou Yangqian sighed softly. Then, she gave Tang Li a gentle look. "Although there's a media company under Tian Yi, I'm still unfamiliar with this industry. I don't understand much about what she has told me. But, I can see that you have a misunderstanding with her." 

Tang Li did not interrupt her and waited for her to continue speaking.

"Yuan'er is a spoiled child. Your father and I are responsible for that. She had a big argument with your father last night. Your father even had a stomachache the whole night. It's just a role. I had scolded her about it. If you like it, she should let you have it. Why fight over a role as you're sisters?"

Tang Li smirked and stared right back at Ou Yangqian. "You're right. What Yuan'er likes the most is complaining about everything and causing conflicts at home. But, I won't be angry at her since you have put it that way. Regarding that role, she's not a suitable candidate for it. If she still wants to snatch it away, it would seem like she's trying to wear something that is not suitable for her. As we know, ugly people always create troubles. Isn't that right, Aunt?"

Ou Yangqian was speechless.

Clearly, she had never expected Tang Li to speak like that.

Tang Li had never behaved like that in front of her. Tang Li had always addressed her as her aunt and had always appeared timid in front of her. When was she so rude like that?

Tang Li was a girl with rather low self-esteem compared to Li Yuan'er. She came to rely on her father in the capital and her low self-esteem was depressing.

"Since she's here now, you have to take good care of her. You need to treat her better than Yuan'er. There are so many people here. They will know clearly how you treat your husband's daughter. What you have to do is be generous toward her so that no one would say that you're a bad stepmother even if the truth is revealed one day."

Ou Yangqian knew that very well. But, she was still displeased about that.

After that, she treated Tang Li just like how her eldest daughter had told her to. The result was rather promising. It was just like what her eldest daughter said. The other family members hated Tang Li more when she treated her generously.

Li Wenyan was one of them too. He did not even look at her.

"It's because that kid is the evidence of his infidelity in his past. Even if he was forced to do so for the mission, the result is still the same. He would be guilty about it. The more you are generous toward that kid, the more he would feel that he had wronged you deeply. Surely, he will never like that kid."

She remembered distinctly what Xiaxia had told her. But, Tang Li seemed to have changed overnight.

She admitted that she was rather anxious regarding that incident during the birthday party.

In fact, she was suffocated by endless hatred and jealousy day in and day out.
