Ou Yangqian's face darkened. 

But, she soon hid her awkwardness. She looked at Tang Li with gentleness. "You have always been a good kid. I believe that you will never fight with Yuan'er without any valid reason..."

"Mother!" Li Yuan'er felt that she was being treated unfairly.

She did not understand why they had to be tolerant of her.

She lost control of her emotions and burst into tears. "You're Father's wife. Why do you have to stoop so low and be nice to her? Father and Mother have changed so much the minute she came to our house!"

Ou Yangqian ignored her daughter but her eyes soon became teary. 

Li Wenyan was next to his daughter now. He was almost fifty years old now and there were wrinkles at the corners of his eyes. But, he was a mature and serious middle-aged man even when he was aging.

He consoled his little daughter. "Why would I be any different from before? Your mother adores you the most. What I say now will be true always no matter who comes to our home."

Then, Li Wenyan gave an order. "Let's stop talking about it now. No one is allowed to bring it up again."

Tang Li could not help but smile at what he said.

It was obvious that what he said was directed at her. 

His underlying message was that Tang Li was prohibited to annoy Li Yuan'er again.

She picked up the cardigan and walked toward the door.

Li Wenyan spoke harshly again behind her. "Did I allow you to leave?"

Tang Li stopped walking and turned around slowly. "Although I'm living with you, I know my stand. Since you hate me, I won't stay here anymore."

She seemed quite calm. "I remember that you have a villa in the eastern suburbs. If you have no objection, I'll move there for the upcoming school holidays."

"Is that how you talk to your father?"

She stared back at him and smirked. "I thought that you've long forgotten that you're my father."

"Bastard!" Li Wenyan was furious.

Ou Yangqian stopped her husband in time. Then, she turned to advised Tang Li. "You belong to this family too. Why do you want to move out?" Then, she patted Li Wenyan's back and scolded him, "You're an adult. Why are you arguing with a child?"

The nanny's voice was heard coming from the first floor. "Miss Li, we found your dress! It's there in the drawer of the closet with madam's brooch!"

Tang Li did not stay to enjoy their acting skills. She left without looking back.

She could still hear Old Lady Li's harsh voice when she walked out of the villa. "Like mother, like daughter. She's just like her mother. You're keeping an ungrateful kid with you no matter how nice you treat her!"

Tang Li stood at the top of the stairs and closed her eyes under the sunlight.

She would surely become a wolf in this life.

Then, she would take revenge on the entire Li family.

It was half-past nine in the morning when she returned to school.

She went straight to her hostel.

She soon found her room. She stood in front of Room 302. It was both strange and familiar to her.

The door of her hostel was pushed open from the inside before she took out her key.

A round face girl was holding her books. She saw Tang Li standing outside of the door. She screamed. "Oh! Look what I found here! A Smurf!" 

Tang Li was speechless.

Wu Xuehan had two braids. Her face was rather chubby like a baby. She had round eyes and a round nose. Tang Li seemed quite small in front of her. It seemed like Tang Li was undernourished too.
