Chapter 23 Go outside the house and take a look

On the weekend afternoon, Locke and the Swanson family drove to Sheldon's house for a visit.

"Speaking of which, what are your plans soon? What are you going to play with Little Sheldon?" Locke asked Peggy casually.

"I don't have any plans. Let's see what he prepares. It might be interesting."

Although Peggy and Locke get along pretty well in school, they are not playmates of the same age. As a super genius, she can't stand 'stupid earthlings' most of the time, but her high emotional intelligence is not obvious. Just show it.

Sheldon's appearance gave Peggy some little surprises, so she also had some expectations for meeting Sheldon.

"Maybe you could visit his little train," Locke said.

"Have you known Sheldon before?" Peggy heard something from Locke's words.

"The orphanage I was in before was in Sheldon's family's town. Sheldon is quite famous in the town. I've heard a lot of rumors about him."

"Not to mention that Sheldon is so weak that even a chicken can chase him." Locke said, "The funniest thing is that little Sheldon was bullied by a neighbor girl who was three years younger than him."

"Really? Being bullied by a little girl three years younger than him?" Peggy suddenly became interested.

"That's right, he also studied judo for a period of time for this purpose, but unfortunately..." Locke shrugged. When he saw this part in the TV series, he really found it very funny.

Accompanied by little Sheldon's gossip along the way, the group arrived at the front door of Cooper's house.

Following the jingling of the doorbell, Mary opened the door very happily: "Welcome, everyone is welcome to be our guest."

Mary was obviously dressed up carefully, with a bright smile on her face. She led the group into the house and shouted loudly: "Shelly, they are here."

At the same time, little Sheldon was in his room, constantly adjusting his beloved bow tie in front of the mirror, but his heart was full of entanglements.

What he is most proud of is his genius IQ. No one around him can compare with him, which makes him think that except for scientific giants such as Einstein, Newton, and Hawking, no one on this earth can truly communicate with him.

But now, the thing he is most proud of has been broken after meeting Peggy a few days ago. The key to this is Peggy.

After all, Locke is much older than him, so Sheldon can comfort himself. Locke is not the youngest super genius, but Peggy is a month younger than him, but she often makes him speechless. In class The performance is better than him.

"Huh, it's started." Hearing Mary's call, little Sheldon suppressed his unhappiness, took a deep breath, held his head high, and came to the living room with a stiff expression.

"Hi, Sheldon." Seeing Sheldon, Peggy gave him a friendly hug.

After a brief introduction, Mary and his wife sat in the living room and chatted with the Swansons. Erica was taken to the backyard to play by George and Misila, while Locke and Peggy came to Little Sheldon's room.

"Since we are going to spend a few hours together, I have listed some activities to keep us occupied." Little Sheldon had an expressionless face throughout, as if he was reading from a script:

"We'll start by visiting my room first, and then play board games. If you still have time, you can take a look at my train model, but you are absolutely not allowed to touch it..."

"I didn't expect it was similar to what Locke said." After confirming Little Sheldon's attitude, Peggy felt a little bored and glanced at Locke who was standing next to him.

She really wanted to be friends with Little Sheldon, but Little Sheldon was really unlikable.

Fortunately, after the boring introduction, Little Sheldon suggested playing chess, and the two started chatting while playing chess.

"Do you really believe in the multiverse theory?"

"I am convinced that this is the most beautiful interpretation of quantum mechanics."

"So, do you really think there are infinite parallel universes?"

"Stephen Hawking believed it, so I believe it too."

"If there are really infinite parallel universes, then I think this theory is equally stupid in all parallel universes."

While Peggy was playing chess, she was guiding Little Sheldon to chat. Locke, who felt a little bored, couldn't help but interject at this time: "Speaking of which, I do believe in the existence of parallel universes, otherwise how can I explain my own rebirth."

The last half of the sentence was said by Locke himself in his heart. Little Sheldon, who was originally angry, was quite happy to hear this: "Thank you, but why are you still in high school now?"

Although Little Sheldon thought in his heart that Locke's IQ was not as good as his, he was able to quickly discover and correct his momentary negligence. Obviously, he was not an ordinary 'stupid earthling'.

"I am an orphan, but I don't have parents to take care of me so that I can have the opportunity to skip a grade." Locke came up with an explanation to deal with Peggy.

"That's indeed a pity." Sheldon nodded, feeling that Locke looked more pleasing to the eye.

Peggy said at this time: "It's very interesting to be with you. Apart from Locke, I can't talk to anyone else in school about this. What about you?"

"Same."

"Have you ever wished you were like other people?" Peggy said.

Little Sheldon thought for a moment, then shook his head decisively: "Not at all."

Peggy smiled and glanced at Locke: "I enjoy the feeling of being smarter than other people."

Hearing this, Little Sheldon suddenly had a good impression of Peggy. He felt that Peggy and he were the same kind of people, and the hostility in his heart also dissipated a lot: "Me too."

But I didn't have to wait long...

"General!" Peggy smiled very happily: "You lost, haha, it seems that I am the smartest!"

At this moment, little Sheldon was completely confused. After losing to Peggy in the college classroom last time, he also did some mental construction.

Due to different family conditions, he went to a public high school, while Peggy went to a private high school. The resources were unequal, and he was temporarily unable to access a lot of knowledge.

Books in the United States are very expensive, and professional books can easily cost tens or hundreds of dollars. The educational resources of public high schools and private high schools are most intuitively reflected in the richness of library collections.

But playing chess is completely a competition of intelligence. Peggy, who is one month younger than him, beat him and triumphantly claimed that he was the smartest, which little Sheldon couldn't accept at all.

The previously suppressed anger could no longer be suppressed, and Little Sheldon finally exploded, overturning the chessboard.

Peggy was also surprised when she saw his reaction. She glanced at Locke and saw that he looked like he was watching a show. Then she smiled and said to Sheldon: "Another game?"

"No problem!" The unconvinced little Sher stared at Peggy for a while, and then agreed. He was really unconvinced. He was a super genius and the smartest.

But playing chess with emotions, he obviously fell into Peggy's routine, unable to maintain a normal mind, which affected his performance. He lost the second game again, which made little Sheldon almost autistic.

Seeing this, Locke was also worried that little Sheldon would explode directly. Having experienced the Big Bang Theory, he was not willing to deal with such a Sheldon, so he changed the subject in a timely manner:

"Speaking of Sheldon, I'm quite interested in your train. Tell me about it."

"I don't have time." Little Sheldon refused angrily.

After glancing at Peggy, Locke shrugged his shoulders, pulled Peggy and said to Sheldon: "It seems you have something to do, let's go outside the house and take a look."
