Shang Xia gained inspiration for Harvesting Light from the Substitution Talisman inheritance he obtained a while ago. He got it from Lin Chai, and there were 3 different levels of talismans in total.

When he was cultivating in seclusion, he crafted the rank three Paper Figure Talisman during his free time. It was nothing too difficult for him as it was a mere rank three talisman, and he even made a few extras. He used one a moment ago.

The sword ripped the space around it apart as it shot at the bewildered cultivator from the Spirit Abundance World, causing him to turn even paler in fright.

Reaching around his chest, the cultivator from the Spirit Abundance World brought out an ice mirror and pointed it straight at the Hundred Gold Sword coming his way.

When the Hundred Gold Sword appeared as a reflection in the mirror, a sword qi emerged from within and it seemed to contain the same amount of energy. It flew at Shang Xia instantly.

After the sword emerged, a loud shatter was heard as the Hundred Gold Sword destroyed the ice mirror. It continued on and pierced into the palm of the cultivator from the Spirit Abundance World.

Stabbing into the man’s palm, the Hundred Gold Sword used up all its power and it couldn’t advance another inch.

As for the sword qi that came from the mirror, it was destroyed by the Abyssal Blade that was hovering around Shang Xia before it could come close.

Despite the exchange, Shang Xia didn’t plan on letting up. The Abyssal Blade returned to his hand as he sent a devastating slash at his enemy.

Swinging the remnant ice chain violently, he smacked the Abyssal Blade in mid air and shifted its trajectory. He managed to avoid Shang Xia’s attack but his ice chain was sacrificed in the process. Fortunately for him, the impact pushed him away from Shang Xia and with that, he managed to regain his freedom of movement.

Instinctively, he turned to run. In the blink of an eye, he ran for over 10 miles.

His actions and reaction earlier had been anticipated by Shang Xia. He knew that experts of the Spirit Abundance World had tons of life saving methods and treasures. It was extremely difficult to kill any one of them and that was why he decided to use Harvesting Light previously. Even though his opponent managed to narrowly escape death every time, Shang Xia was prepared to follow up with another attack as long as the cultivator from the Spirit Abundance World didn’t turn into a corpse under his relentless assault. He wasn’t going to let his enemy off so easily.

Seeing as the cultivator from the Spirit Abundance World had turned to run and exposed his back to Shang Xia, he knew an opportunity had arrived. Placing his Abyssal Blade away after he failed to kill his enemy with it, he unleashed his Four Constellation Palm the next second.

He might not have stored up power in his strike and it contained far less power than when he pushed the landmass away from the Tongyou Island previously, it was more than enough to deal with the problem before him. The cultivator from the Spirit Abundance World who had been seriously injured by Shang Xia would never be able to withstand the strike.

As the palm sailed closer to the cultivator from the Spirit Abundance World, Shang Xia noticed something like a paper boat the size of a palm emerging from the other party’s sleeves.

He managed to rip through half the boat that was stained crimson red but it turned into a streak of light that soared away at a speed Shang Xia couldn’t keep up with.

Shang Xia held the absolute advantage throughout the entire battle and heavily injured the intruder. He even forced his opponent to damage his foundations twice by spitting out essence blood to protect himself. It could be said that Shang Xia single-handedly destroyed the cultivator from the Spirit Abundance World’s hope of ever entering the Martial Dipper Realm. However, Shang Xia wasn’t satisfied. He felt a sense of regret. If he was a little stronger, the cultivator from the Spirit Abundance World would have to leave his life behind!
