“Preposterous! You’re despicable!” Elder Hu was heavily injured by Yun Jing because of Shang Xia’s talisman, and he had to take on Shang Xia’s sneak attack the next moment. He could tell that the extermination qi that entered his body was going to be a pain in the ass to remove.

His wounds grew larger and larger and his injuries became worse at a speed visible to the naked eye. The flow of his inner qi was also disrupted by Shang Xia’s Valley Rain and he seemed to be on the brink of losing control of his energy.

After Elder Hu’s death, Shang Xia used up so much inner qi that he was nearly unable to maintain his ability to fly. He relied solely on the ability of his Auspicious Cloud Cape to approach Elder Hu before beheading him with the Abyssal Blade. Gathering all the remnant Four Constellation Qi, he roared, “This asshole Hu is dead! What the hell are you guys still doing?!”
