Short Horror Stories

Every night since the quarantine. My boyfriend would contact me to ask me how my day was. That way we won't be missing each other that much. Tonight is different though. He called to inform me that his parents would be out for the weekends so his currently alone. We video chat for 30 minutes, he said he needed to go to the toilet and left his phone facing his room.

I saw him went outside, after a few seconds, I noticed something moved around from the corner. I was pretty sure it was a girl. He came back to the room and I started arguing with him. "I thought you were alone?" I shouted. "I am." he reassured me. "Who was that girl then? How could you lie to me?" I argued. He seemed confused "What girl?" He picked up his phone and showed me around his room.

I definitely saw something, something inhumane which he seemingly couldn't see. "Get out!" I shouted. "Why?" he asked confusedly. "Just get out of there, as fast—" was all I could utter before his line went out.
