Short Horror Stories

The police just called, they told me that Jessica was found dead in her apartment. I couldn't think of anyone who could have done this to her. I quickly went to her apartment. At first, the officers won't let me in but after telling them who I was, they let me. I rushed to Jessica's side but they won't let me touch her because they weren't through with the investigation yet. I saw a knife stabbed to her stomach. While her hands were still holding it. I talked to her earlier and we had a fight after the call, it was about an hour ago, because Adrienne confessed to me. I know she loved her bestfriend so much so it is possible that she may have committed suicide after learning the truth. But I still refused to believe it, we were planning on getting married. She wouldn't leave me just like that right? I saw a cocoa powder and milk on the counter. What was she doing before this incident? I couldn't look for any further clues afterwards because Adrienne rushed to my side and started blaming me, saying I shouldn't have argued with Jessica so that she won't do this. She was to blame to, she confessed to me. I wondered how she knew I was talking to Jessica earlier. I looked at her suspiciously but she tried explaining that Jessica told her before the incident which is quite possible. The police officers reviewed the CCTV cam but found out that they were off during the incident. What could have happened?
