Short Horror Stories

I'm a business man. A successful one if I must say. I don't have a family to feed. I don't even have a wife. I focused on my job too much on my younger years that I didn't even had the chance to find someone to marry. I regret that. I decided to travel on a vacation. Maybe to forget all my worries. Probably, to find a wife too? Hopefully. Hahaha I know I sounded desperate. Oh, well. Long story short, I travelled overseas without anything to worry. I mean, I'm already rich, what else should I worry about?

After I arrived, someone was already there to pick up my luggage. I was pretty sure I brought just a few clothes but it seemed like the guy was struggling. I just shrugged it off though, he's still doing his job at least. I went inside the hotel I'm planning to stay in to and the baggage carrier guy took the luggage in to a cart. I went inside my unit and waited for the luggage. I gave the guy a tip and went out to stroll. When I got back, I heard rumors about a room being haunted. I don't believe in ghost though, but I was sure as heck curious. I saw them pointing at my unit's door saying they heard a little child's voice. I couldn't believe that though, ghosts doesn't exist. I went inside and slept through the night. The next day, I've done the same routine as yesterday. Strolling around the town and trying to be contented, and slept afterwards. On my third day, I could smell a very faint but a really strange odor coming from my unit. I called the hotel management to clear whatever that strange smell was. They searched everywhere but couldn't find anything. They ended up asking a dog to locate the smell and there it was. Lying inside my luggage was a body of a young girl. Arms were wounded, and her body was cover with bruises. The luggage was scratched everwhere and the struggling was evident in the bag filled with blood.
