Chapter 37 - Contract

That day, I have thought of something I should have done before. I'm always alone, but I'm gonna do something about it. No one wants to be my friend. I always get hit in school and my parents scold me for being too weak, but I decided to do something I should have done long ago. Everyone hates me, I feel lonely. If I did this long ago, I wouldn't have felt this miserable. I cut my wrist, just a portion of it. Just enough to let the blood drip. No one will notice anyway, they wouldn't care. I draw an inverted star inside a circle with my blood. No one will know anyway, I'm always alone. I chanted the words written on the book. No one will hear me anyway, I have no friends. I'm so lonely. Just as I finished the ritual, a huge creature appeared in my bed. This is something I should have done before. The creature was scaly and had a huge fangs for a teeth. He told me after the contract my soul will be his, but it doesn't matter to me. No one would know. He grinned at me and asked me what I wanted. I smiled back, no one would care anyway. I told him to play with me, for as long as I live. He was shocked, but he did it anyway. We always played, and he made me the happiest. Now, I am lying in a hospital bed. My parents aren't here, they never cared, but I'm not lonely. He's here for me, he said he'll take me with him afterwards. I am happy to hear that. There, I'll get to be with him and play with him forever.
