SAY YOU'LL BE MINE

Zari and I talked over the phone two nights ago and they are planning to come and visit me here in NY next month or two months from now. I still did not mention to her about me being pregnant even my parents and other siblings.

Lucky for me, they do not see the whole body when we do video calling. I see to it that I am sitting covered with my pillow. They even noticed that I looked fat but I made some story on that. They did not pursue with that fatty topics and enjoy talking about what I missed with their lives. 

Anyway, it was unexpectedly surprising that Zari was here secretly visiting me without prior notice. Well, she will going to be in her shocking face once seeing me what I am now  in front of her.

I was standing at the doorframe waiting for Zari to come up. It never took long the elevator door opened and saw her walking towards me with her eyes wide open I know what it means.

When she was closer to me, "Y-you are pregnant…" it was the first sentence she says to me face to face.

"I guess, I am," I said, grinning to her reaction. I grabbed her arms inside forcedly because she was standing like a statue. Not planning to move inside and I cannot stand longer with my status right now.

"Are you keeps on looking at me the whole day or we could be patching up with stories?" I asked.

She blinked, "How? Why did you not tell me about it? Why I did not know that you are pregnant? Do Mom and Dad know?" then she snapped. "No, wait, I think family does not know anything about this, right?"

I shook my head. "No, I haven't told them my situation but Jake and George knew about this. I wanted to tell our parents but not now. Maybe one of these days since  you already saw me first."

"I will kick Jake's ass once I see him. He never even mentioned it to me. When will be the pop out date of this angel?" she asked while placing her hands on my tummy. "Wait, who's the father? Is he the owner of this Penthouse?"

I nodded. "Yes, it's Colton Torres." I said.

"I knew it that it was you." 

"What?" I was confused what she was talking about that I did not know what it was.

"I said I know it was you who met Colton with my last engagement some months ago."

"You already met each other…"

I saw her grinning. "Yeah, we met in Paris. He walked towards me and say my name then I was confuse too because I haven't met him and Leo and Colton were cousins." She explained. "Wait, I'll text Leo that he should cancel the dinner tonight and come here instead." She quickly sends a message to Leo.

"What dinner?" I asked.

"We were planning to have dinner tonight with of course, Colton, I did not know you already living together and there is baby involve so I guess it would be fine in here."

"Okay, that would be great since I do not feel like going out lately and I am eight months already next month I can see this little angel in my arms."

"I still cannot wait and still I cannot believe you are the first one to give Mom and Dad their first grandchild." She said happily.

"Yeah, but you are the first one who get married. I am happy for you twin."

"I know, I am happy for you too with the baby going to pop out soon. So, when will that be the date to be Mrs. Torres."

I did not respond right away. "I do not know what our status but I am okay with what Colton and I have. For the sake of our baby, I will endure it because I do not want our baby to see us living separately. Of course, I do not want that to happen not seeing his or her dad. I do not think Colton will agree to that." 

I talked to her about our situation and everything I feel about my new life. I never keep any more secrets to her. She is always the one who give me motivation and encouragement that it will come in the right moment. Love is the most powerful thing on earth. Have faith, just what Zari said.
