Rise of The Anti God

663 The Origin Seed's Hunger

Damien was scared for the first time in a long time…Not because he was afraid to die but because he was afraid he wouldn't be able to see Lily, Reva, Yuria, and Valentina anymore.

His life in this world felt too long yet short at the same time. But all he knew was that he definitely couldn't die again and lose everything he had. He can't leave them alone...not again.

However, no matter how hard he tried to circulate his ethereal energy, these black tendrils were inhibiting them, making it seem impossible for him to draw any power.

He could feel death clouding his eyes as he felt a chilling sensation all over his body. He had experienced this before, right before he had died in his past life.

His body was bleeding all over, and it looked like he was a sinner being punished in hell.

'Am I really going to die in some abandoned palace?' Damien thought to himself as he felt despair filling his mind.

"Damien, quit trying to gather ethereal energy first but simply activate your first skill of the Anti-God Arts," Luna instructed with crossed arms.

Kalypso was getting more and more restless as she said with gritted teeth, "Luna! If you are wrong and something happens to Master, I swear—"

"Shh, little spirit. I am never wrong, but if you are wrong, then you will be apologizing to me a hundred times," Luna said with a confident smirk.

Damien didn't ask any questions as he listened to her advice and immediately activated the 2nd Phase of Undying Wrath, turning all the ethereal and nethereal energy in his body into Anti-Energy.

The moment Anti-Energy surfaced inside his body, the black tendrils began to shiver and tremble as if they came upon a nightmare.

And to Damien's astonishment, his Origin Seed seemed to tingle in excitement as it began to apply a suctioning force within his body.

Just as Damien was wondering what his Origin Seed was up to, he felt a powerful inflow of nethereal energy into his body without him even doing anything.

He then realized that it was his Origin Seed sucking in all the nethereal energy like a black hole.

His wounds began to heal faster while his face began to regain its color, though the black tendrils were still stuck inside his flesh.

Still, he had never felt so good. It was like he was feeling high after taking some drug.

His eyes were a frightening jet-black, and the death aura around him was becoming thicker and stronger.

However, the one reason he was feeling so good was that he was experiencing his cultivation level rising consistently.

His Origin Seed was like a machine that was continuously absorbing nethereal energy to develop his ethereal core.

'Luna was right…My Origin Seed is the most supreme existence before these kinds of things,' Damien thought with a glint of pride in his eyes.

Before he knew it, his cultivation had already jumped into the second level of the Heaven Ethereal Realm. Even his soul cultivation had risen to the Middle Sublime Soul Stage, making him feel as if he had a good long sleep, his mind fresher than ever before.

It didn't stop there. The Origin Seed kept on siphoning nethereal energy from the black tendrils till it began to shrivel and lose its vitality. It no longer seemed menacing, but something Damien could simply tear off with his own hands.

*Pop!*

And just like that, a pop sound resounded in his chest as his cultivation rose to the third level of the Heaven Ethereal Realm, making Damien smile.

Kalypso had her jaw slacked upon seeing what was going on. She could only look at Luna with a look of astonishment and puzzlement. How could a goddess like her, who reigned over the ethereal dimension, know so much about how things work with nethereal energy. Or was it because she was powerful enough to do that as well?

Kalypso felt ashamed that a nethereal being like her wasn't of any help to her Master while an ethereal goddess was the one to help her Master. But she was thankful to Luna for helping her Master save himself. Otherwise, she had no idea what she would have done.

Damien felt that these black tendrils had run out of steam right when he was close to reaching the fourth level of the Heaven Ethereal Realm.

"Don't let your Origin Seed absorb anymore. Your ethereal core won't be able to take it, and you will explode and die," Luna warned before Damien got drunk with the feeling of gaining power so quickly.

"As you say, my goddess," Damien said while feeling grateful to Luna. He had lost count of the times Luna had saved his ass and once again realized how much he owed her.

"Pha, I am nobody's goddess. Now get your head straight and deal with these annoying things coming your way," Luna said as Damien saw more of these black tendrils heading towards him. He mused that these black tendrils must have a mind of their own to realize that he was getting free.

He immediately pulled out the black tendrils that were burrowed into his arms while using his Anti-Energy to get rid of the ones burrowed into his legs, making him land on the floor on his feet.

"Kalypso, I need you!" Damien shouted, and as if Kalypso was waiting for this, she immediately transformed into the Crimson Death sword and manifested in his hand.

A rusty brown sword appeared in his hand, its appearance making one feel as if it would break into two with just a single strike.

However, the dark crimson miasma that was slowly emanating from it could send chills through one's soul.

Damien still was awed by the profound dark and ancient power coursing through his veins from the Crimson Death.

"Let's get rid of these motherfuckers," Damien said as jet-black lightning streaks danced across his body.
