With Ciara dashing in from the side, my turn disappeared. I mean… I guess… you could argue she was just doing her job.

While Ciara had agro Ester stabbed it.

The boss regained it’s feet and rose up to attack Sierra with its front claws. However she defended beautifully making full use of her shield and supporting skills.

Ciaras ability to see through the boss and maintain agro was amazing. Ester could attack freely because the eyes of the boss were completely glued to Ciara.

In addition to normal attacks Ester was making full use of her skills as well to steadily drain the monster’s hp.
The only problem, was Rana.
“Uuu, what should I do?”
Rana was feeling really anxious, she realized she messed up but at the same time she wanted to help out. She wanted to buff, heal, attack, anything but she wasn’t able to move because of what had happened.
I took her trembling hand to calm her.
“Ah.”
“Relax, even if you fail I’m here. Take a deep breath.”
“O-okay. Suー haー”
I was blocking her view of the boss, that coupled with her deep breath seemed to help her calm down.
“Good, now think, Ciara was attacked by the boss and has taken damage to her Hp. What should you do?”
“…..heal.”
“Good, grab your talisman and give it a shot.”
Rana looked calm, she closed her eyes and grabbed her little talisman.
“Think hard about your party member. Ciara has taken damage and can only be healed by you. You have to heal her.”
“Yeah! 《Recovery prayer》!”
It only heals a small portion of hp but if coupled with the saints unique skill it becomes quite good.
“You can open your eyes Rana. Ciara is recovering.”
“Really!?”
When she opened her eyes she saw Ciaras body glowing dimly. She was at full health now and was continuing to stay that way regardless of the bosses attacks.
“W-wow.”
Rana looks amazed but I feel a little sorry for the boss. If the opponent isn’t strong enough with a saint on your side our hp will stay maxed. It’s kind of unfair but you can basically just attack without worry.
“However the effect disappears if you lose concentration. But you can cast it again once the glow disappears, see it?”
“Yeah! 《Healing prayer》!”
Ranas magic wraps around Ciara once more. I kept Rana working on the same thing for now, if I had her doing this that and the other she’d just end up getting confused. Plus there’s no need for Buffs right now.
The party is still a bit unstable but thanks to Ciaras skill, her and Ester are able to cover the front. She seemed a little unfamiliar with her spear however, she’d practiced with a one handed spear on horseback but a two handed spear seems to be different. Although she said she’d consulted with Mrs. Phillis yesterday about how to use it.
Although the boss battle started a little on the dangerous side Ciara quickly brought it back.
“《Shield bash》!”
Sierra bashed her shield into the Anteater bear.
“Guaaaa!”
“Now Ester!”
“《Long thrust》!”
Ciara was mercilessly and called out to Ester as soon as she created the opening. Ester reacted quickly and slammed her spear into the boss for a critical hit. It disappeared wrapped in light and left behind a silver chest along with the other drops.
“Did we win!?”
“Yes, it was a victory.”
I turned around and gave Rana a thumbs up.
“Yay!”
“We did it!”
Ciara and Ester high-fived, Hannah, Rana and I went over to them to celebrate but Rana didn’t join. It seemed like she was still worried about her earlier mistake.
“Fuuu, go ahead your highness.”
“Is it OK? ”
“Naturally, this is a party victory after all.”
“Thank you Ester, and you too Ciara.”
“No problem.”
Rana highfived them both. After they highfived they all noticed something, it had appeared in their right hands.
They were surprised at first but were now all smiling down at the shiny medal in their palms. After that I congratulated them on their clearing of the dungeon.
