“Congratulations on awakening to [princess’ knight] Ester.”

“Thank you Zephyrus.”

The day after we successfully created the guild all of us were gathered in front of the dragon statue as Ester had yet to acquire her job.

It was lucky that Ester didn’t take a job before the princess was able to choose hers. [Royal guard] was available at the entrance ceremony but by waiting she was able to awaken to [princess’ guard] instead.

“Ester, congratulations!”

“Thank you very much Lady Rana!”

“Knight Ester, congratulations on your awakening.”

“Congratulations!”

“Ciara, Hannah, thank you both.”

Ester bows politely everything she’s congratulated.

“Alright back to the guild room to play slimepop! Once we raise your levels to level 6 you can enter the tutorial dungeon.”

“Ok.”

I really want to go to the dungeon now but the new members of the guild are still level 0 and aren’t even allowed in the dungeon.

Normally the level is raised over a week or longer through battle training. But they’re in my guild now so why would put them through that? Well raise the level much quicker playing slimepop.

While playing slimepop the members were also being lectured by me on the best way to develop their classes.

“Why do you know so much about these jobs?”

The princess shook the memo that I’d handed her, her eyes glazed over.

“Its the results of my own dedication and research!”

The princess groans and tells me to continue my explanation, what a selfish girl.

“Now to start with, the job the princess chose, [saint].”

“Hey, can you stop calling me princess? You can just use my name you know.”

She interrupted my explanation…..this girl, I swear….

“I give you special permission to call me ‘Lady Rana.'”

“No for the job the princess chose, the position isー.”

“Did you just ignore me!? You can’t ignore me! I’m the princess!”

“Shut up, I’m trying to talk here!”

She is not living up to the idea of Saint that I’d imagined. Ciara came in from the side to help me out.

“Well then why doesn’t her majesty lady Rana call Zephyrus by his name? As far as I’ve heard you haven’t used it right?”

True, she’s been referring to me as ‘you’ this whole time.

“True, but if I did that then I’d feel like in losing.”

What has my strategy meeting devolved into a conversation about how we should refer to each other?

While I was standing around confused Ciara came over and whispered to me.

“Please call her Lady Rana like she wants, otherwise you’ll ever be able to finish talking.”

Well that’s fair enough, if I can’t continue my story then there’s no helping it. I went over and stood in front of the princess.

“W-what? Are you going to do it? I won’t lose.”

“I’m not doing anything, if you want me to call you by your name so much I’ll call you by your name so listen up.”

I’m a hero right? It’s time to remind her that I am in fact a [hero]. I put on a heroic face and said her name clearly.

“Rana.”

“Fua!?”

“Uwa, I wonder how that’s going to go.”

Rana turned bright red and Ciaras didn’t seem to be able to speak. Was it my [hero]ic voice?

“Hmm, it was more powerful than I expected.”

Rana staggered as if she’d been hit, did it have the effect of dealing damage?

“Then I’ll return it!”

Return what? Is she going to hit me? After taking a deep breath she looked as if she’d decided something.

“Z, ze, zephrshu.”

“Gufu!?”

“Ah, you bit your tongue didn’t you?”
