Refining the Mountains and Rivers

C.1804 – A – Barbarian King’s Body

Qin Yu had to find a way to accelerate the process of igniting his Great Dao. Emperor Qin was not the only threat he was facing!

And as for this matter, in this whole world, there were only two people who could help him.

One of them was undoubtedly Emperor Qin.

As the only person who had managed to ignite his Incense Great Dao, he was an invincible being. No one else was more qualified than him to speak about this matter.

However, finding him for help was equivalent to seeking death.

The second person was Min Changjing!

This old fart was imperceptible. Until now, Qin Yu could not be sure of how many tricks he had hidden up his sleeve. Since Min Changjing knew about how to start on the path of cultivating Incense Great Dao, naturally, he must know how to accelerate the process of igniting an Incense Great Dao.

Of course, Qin Yu was not completely sure whether he knew anything about it, but at this crucial juncture, he had to try.

Not long ago, he had just gone to Min Changjing and threatened him. Now that he was going to find him again…hehe, it seemed like he was crossing a line.

However, this thought only crossed his mind for a second before it was suppressed. He had to continue living, so who cared about all of this?

When the ancestral court was thoroughly integrated with the Blue Dragon Mountains, he would go and find Min Changjing right away. Not another moment could be spared!

Two days later, the rumbling in the ground disappeared. The ancestral court had truly been fused with the Blue Dragon Mountains, becoming one entity.

A thought shifted in Qin Yu’s mind, and very quickly, Great Shaman Mengshan made his way here and brought Great Shaman Earthfire with him.

Previously, Earthfire had gotten injured and he had been in a recovery process this entire time. Now, he knelt on the floor and kowtowed respectfully, “Earthfire greets Your Majesty. Thank you, Your Majesty, for saving my life.”

Qin Yu waved his sleeve, “I am the Barbarian King. Of course I will not stand by and watch as my Great Shamans are getting hurt by someone else.”

He looked at both Great Shamans and said, “I am about to leave the ancestral court to seek help on how I can accelerate the process of igniting my Incense Great Dao. I will leave the internal matters of the Barbarian Clan to both of you.

“Because of the Desolate Area’s conquest order, the Barbarian Clan is going to go through an extreme amount of pressure. The early stages of the battle will be even more difficult. Send a message to the various great barbarian tribes. Tell them to gather their forces and retreat. Do not engage with the Desolate armies for the time being. I will think of a way to resolve the current situation as soon as possible.”

Great Shamans Mengshan and Earthfire bowed and said, “Your Majesty, rest assured. We will do our best to maintain the current situation and wait for you to return.”

Qin Yu nodded, “Good!”

Whoosh –

He disappeared.

……

Long Island. It was completely empty.

Qin Yu looked everywhere before he finally confirmed the bad news – Min Changjing had escaped!

It was just like before when he was threatened and schemed against by Rourou. He took his family and moved away from the West Desolate’s Imperial Capital without any hesitation.

He did not want to stay on Long Island anymore either.

He left, plain and simple, erasing all of the traces that showed the Min Family had ever lived here at all. This made Qin Yu frown and a hint of embarrassment could be seen in his eyes. This was because the facts had proven that Min Changjing’s decision to leave was right, since Qin Yu had come knocking on his door again.

What was he to do now?

If an imperceptible True King who had lived for many years wanted to hide, it was truly very difficult for anyone to find him.

Just at this moment, Qin Yu frowned slightly again.

He turned around and saw someone walking out of the water. It was a lady with long braids. “Why haven’t you left?”

This lady was that old chef’s daughter. Her clothes were soaked and they stuck to her body, showing off her elegant figure. She walked over with a calm expression and said, “Because I do not wish to see Lord Min running away anymore.”

Qin Yu asked, “So?”

The long-braided lady smiled, “I know where Lord Min is; let me take you there.”

“What do you want in exchange?”

The long-braided lady said, “I hope that Your Majesty the Barbarian King can stop threatening Lord Min using his son. I do not wish to live alone for the rest of my life.”

Qin Yu nodded, “I promise I won’t do that anymore.”

The long-braided lady walked over and said, “Hug me.”

Qin Yu raised his eyebrows.

She had a calm expression as she explained, “I am not a True King and I can’t teleport to wherever I want with just a thought…furthermore, Your Majesty, if you continue to hesitate, the moment Lord Min realizes something is wrong, I won’t be able to find him anymore.”

Qin Yu stretched his arm out and hugged the lady. The coldness of the lake water and the warmth of her body made him feel a strange excitement. Suddenly, he could smell a fragrant aroma.

In the next moment, Qin Yu wrapped his hands around the lady’s neck and said, “You truly have big guts.”

The long-braided lady had difficulty breathing and her face reddened, “I admit defeat, but I really know where Lord Min is hiding.”

Qin Yu’s eyes turned cold.

Splash –

The water’s surface was disrupted once again and the old chef walked out. With nervousness on his face, he begged, “Your Majesty, have mercy, please have mercy!” He glared at his own daughter, “You darned brat, who asked you to do this? You are seeking death!”

Qin Yu was expressionless as he tightened his grip around her neck.

Fear could now be seen in the lady’s eyes.

The old chef screamed, “Your Majesty!”

Qin Yu let go and said in a threatening tone, “I’ll ask you one last time, where is Min Changjing? Don’t test my patience.”

“I’ll bring Your Majesty to him…” The old chef’s face had turned completely pale.

Qin Yu waved his sleeve.

Boom –

The space around them collapsed, wrapping the three of them within. Then, they disappeared.

In the next moment, they reappeared in a boundless bamboo forest. Min Changjing, who was lying drowsily on the bamboo chair, immediately jumped up as if his butt was lit on fire.

He turned around and tried to escape, but it was too late.

Schwing –

The sound of a sword being unsheathed erupted in the air. A sharp aura trapped Min Changjing within and his body froze immediately. He turned around stiffly, a heavy expression on his face.

“Qin Yu, you’re too much!”

Qin Yu knew that he was crossing the line too, but he had no choice.

If he did not do this, he would die!

In the face of life and death, Min Changjing’s words had no effect on him at all.

“Lord Min, I’m really sorry, but I came here to have a meal with you again.”

Min Changjing’s lips started to twitch!

Have a meal?

Is this how anyone invites someone else to a meal?

He set his gaze on the old chef who looked soulless, and then he looked at the old chef’s daughter whose neck was being choked by Qin Yu. Then, he took a long sigh and said, “This is a sin!”

“Isn’t it good to live peacefully? I’ve already forgotten about what happened back then; why did all of you still hold a grudge?”

The old chef’s body trembled and he said, “Lord Min, I have let you down…”

Min Changjing waved his hand and clenched his jaw, “What are you talking about! Didn’t you hear His Majesty say that he wants to have a meal in our house? Both of you, go and make the preparations!

“What? Do you want me to cook personally?”

The old chef nodded his head vigorously, “Ah…yes, yes. Lord Min, please wait for a while, I will go and cook now.”

He looked over at Qin Yu with a pleading expression.

Qin Yu released his grip on the lady’s neck.

“Cough, cough, cough…” The lady with long braids coughed violently and she looked at Qin Yu fearfully.

She really thought that she was about to die just now!

“Darned brat, come with me, quick!” The old chef pulled her hand and they ran away together, afraid that Qin Yu would change his mind in the next moment.

Very quickly, in this bamboo forest, there was only Qin Yu and Min Changjing left.

“Sigh! Your Majesty, you have such a noble identity now. Furthermore, the situation is very dangerous. You should be back at the Barbarian Clan, directing matters and getting ready for war. Why are you here to find an old fart like me?” Min Changjing looked bitter. “I beg you, can’t you just send me off like a fart?”

Qin Yu shook his head, “I do not dare to regard you as a fart, so I can’t let you go.”

Min Changjing gritted his teeth, “Qin Yu, what exactly are you trying to do…” His voice suddenly stopped.

This was because Qin Yu pointed outwards, causing some incense aura to be released.

Min Changjing exclaimed in a low voice, “Incense Great Dao!”

He stared straight at Qin Yu, a shocked expression in his eyes.
