Unlike me, who was simply worried for the sake of worrying, the scrawny demon looked at Light with total disregard. In the Fire Domain where beastmen dominated the food chain, strong animals like the Thunder Lion were very hard to find, the situation should have especially turned worse with the spread of Corruption everywhere.

Unfortunately for him, the one that it got to face happened to be one of the few, if not the only, beasts that experienced dimensional travel! With two major 'flights' in his imaginary spatial passport, Light was practically an Interdimensional Beast!

Even as the demon tried to dodge, it still couldn't escape from receiving a bloody claw swipe at its scrawny arm. This was only the first exchange, but Light was already crushing his opponent without possessing a glaring superiority in stats!

The other demons couldn't afford to be patient as their suppression shield was quickly being annihilated while their movement was being greatly restricted. Moreover, the half-dragons were valiantly pushing them back, even at the expense of their lives!

Just in time, the demon possessing the weirdest name just yet met his end, bringing me another surprise!

If I was the one to kill the demon in Light's place, I wouldn't have even received two-tenths of the amount that Light received! Considering that Light's level was still considerably lower, such a difference was understandable. After all, Although his physical stats had grown considerably, both his Intelligence and Wisdom still lagged behind. Everything fell into place, but…

The efficiency achievable by using my uselessly long EP bar to feed Light's bar was simply too amazing for me to have noticed, but it seemed like it went both ways!

Even when we were in our own little rosy world, the battle was still going strong. In no time, a contrasting hulk of a demon had crushed his way through the half-dragons' protection, and he didn't come alone this time.

A flying demon who had been struggling to destroy the tall vines had additionally descended from the sky. I didn't even need to look them in the face to know that they were extremely angry. Not even an hour had passed, but the Corrupted horde had grown thin as paper. The demon cannon fodder wasn't as easy to kill, but the half-dragons made good use of their restricted movements to do the deed.

'Everything is really possible…'

In short words, despite being just one person, I had somehow managed to turn the tables around with the help of a bottle of potions and some little buff support. Of course, this was still far from enough to win the battle, but I had only executed half of my plan so far…

Despite not having an edge like Light's speed, the Dragon Clan Leader's stats were high while being as well-rounded as mine before the recent addition. Even if he was a pacifist, he wasn't an opponent to be underestimated! At the very least, the time I wanted was guaranteed…
