Let alone the fact that they were rapidly marching towards the stronghold, the army had a large variety of forces similar to the ones that I faced in the Nature Domain.

Naturally, those whose Darkness elements possessed ranged qualities were within that mix. No matter how much I wished for it, their attacks were soon to reach me if I didn't evade them, but I had no intention to do so.

'A little bit more…'

Tempering my heart with the forgotten desperation, the dragon scales covering my body grew thicker. Without holding back anything, I fully manifested my triple-layered 'Dragon Armor' with the intent to receive their attacks head-on!

Considering my Agility that had just reached yet another height, I was absolutely confident in dodging, Ice or Earth elements could also fully negate such attacks with the correct amount. However, I lacked the very basic requirements of using either method. I didn't have time to focus on anything other than sniping shamans, nor could I afford to recklessly waste my elements for something like defense!

Thud!

A pitch-black hook suddenly crashed into me, announcing the start of the demons' barrage of attacks. The number of effective hits that managed to reach me still wasn't that big, but I was still pushed back due to my lack of footing…

'Bit more…'

No matter how much my body was impacted, my hands kept moving, releasing arrow after arrow, my accuracy unaffected by the constant shaking. Although my vision was obstructed at one point, that still didn't stop me!

As long as my 'Eye of Knowledge' was activated, my target's indicator would still overlay any sort of smokescreen. Having used my only appraisal skill so many times, I could easily use that indicator to directly pinpoint where to shoot!

At the same speed that the demon army's levels fell, a trail of azure scales quickly floated down. My defense was extremely terrifying, but the constant bombardment was also extremely effective. However…

'This much should be okay.'

My 'Unbound Vitality' had only grown stronger with the advancement of my constitution. With the addition of my 'Dragon Armor', I was no worse than a tank that quickly changed its shell before receiving any major damage. Even then, I normally wouldn't have used such a carelessly arrogant tactic if I didn't have to.

'...This is the limit.'

Regardless of how high my Perception and Agility had advanced, it became harder and harder to pinpoint the entirety of shamans in such a large army, let alone kill them all. I had the strongest clan of the domain at my back, but we were facing a few dozen armies combined into one!

Despite that, I still managed to eliminate over 400 shamans at a rate of more than 1 per second! I was too focused on my task to read everything, but I was still joyfully alerted by the re-emergence of the forgetting achievement reward! There could be no better timing to receive additional strength!

"Begin the preparation to hold them back!"

I could remain in the sky to snipe more targets, but being late to the next step would only severely reduce the usefulness of the first one. The demon army's level decrease was also starting to slow down as it approached the limit of the suppression.

"Let them into the mountain range, but maintain a distance from the stronghold!"

Instead, I flew back into the green mountain range as the demon army threatened to barge in at any minute. For the very first time, I got to personally lead the movements of the resistance! 

Although our army was limited, the changed Clan Leader seemed to possess never-ending trust in me all of the sudden and I planned to make the most use of that!

Graraaaa! Bwaaa! Kraaa…

'This is it!'

As soon as the horde of the Corrupted stepped foot into the green mountain range, the mixed screams originating from all kinds of beastmen zombies resonated between the mountains as they started to significantly slow down, the first… and only advantage we had was finally showing its importance!

A region where everything from land to mountains was covered in nothing but green! The only reason the Dragon Clan had managed to safely live in a world overrun with Corrupted up till now was the additional suppression and deterrence that it imposed on them!

Kwaaaa!

They could now enter thanks to the demons using some method to override their simple thought process, but it was obvious that they were in pain. Moreover, this wasn't just a case of mental damage…

'As expected of a Dragon's lair.'

The appraisal info even showed a direct decrease in level for all the Corrupted that marched into the range. Their overall physical and elemental qualities decreased as a cost for forcefully going in!

However, it was too early to celebrate. The suppression effect of the green mountain range was more oriented towards individuals, which seemed to be the source of their instinctive fear of it to this moment. Now that a large group was barging in, the suppression effect was thinning out in order to cover up the whole horde…

'It wasn't that simple as expected.'

Considering the cost of a tool that could control tens of thousands like this, it only made complete sense for them to use it now. The numerical advantage was just a secondary effect, what the demons really desired was to obtain a sturdy guard that could shield the green mountain range's suppression for them!

'Not that it changes anything.'

Standing in the middle of the Dragon Clan's army, I squatted down once the demons followed suit, personally stepping into the range. It was finally time to use my one last option… It was the forgotten element's turn to shine!
