Necromancer Supreme System

Chapter 70: Crossing the First Bridge

Oya just smiled wryly, as she felt she wasn't leading them to freedom, she was leading them to slaughter house! Just as they approached the town gates, she was reminded of her skeletons. She had paid a hefty price to gather them, and then the system appeared again as it said:

'Don't worry, I have already called them back into my possession, and when you need them, I will summon them again for you.'

She felt like a baby girl, being cared for by everyone around her. She just smiled, not knowing what to say or to do.

"Oh, I never thought you would shine in this game!" Roka, the white magician, the one known to be blessed with the lady of luck in any game, came to stand beside her as she said that.

"She isn't just going to shine, she is going to rock everything here," Salsola said, before she started to narrate things about Oya's skeletons, and how mighty they were! She even went on to say that no player, not any group of players here or at any nation would stand against her skeletons.

These words had stirred a lot of commotion, as many players here wanted to issue a challenge to her skeletons, and even dared to put wages on this challenge's results as bets!

She couldn't say anything but to helplessly nod in agreement, as she knew how strong her skeletons were, and there were many, not just one or two as her friends thought.

"Okay okay, line up and start placing your challenge requests and bids! Only gold coins are accepted, and no refund to LOSERS!" Salsola had started to act as the general manager of that bet, as she was already excited about the odds and gains of these challenges.

Oya just shook, helplessly, her head, as she knew how sly Salsola was. Salsola had already seen her skeletons, and knew how strong and mighty they were.

Despite her telling the truth from before, she was trying to instigate their fighting instincts, and driving them to fall for her trap.

And like fat sheep, they fell heavily inside the trap!

Oya then thought about what she would need to make international alliances. As others were busy placing and teasing about their bets, she started a video call request, directed towards two hundred and seven.

"Hello miss Oya, oh you have players there," the moment he picked up the call, his keen eyes observed the presence of her friends around her.

"Hi Mr. two hundred and seven, they are my friends, came from other cities to play with me," she replied, trying to act polite.

"Mr.? Hmm it seems you need something out of me," he said, as he realized the great difference between dealing with her and dealing with Ibro, "tell me, what do you need?"

She hesitated for a moment, and this made him think she might need help towards someone close to her in real life.

He guessed it right, partly, as what she wanted him to know was related to real life for sure.

"I want to establish international alliances with other alliances in the game," she finally said it, as she didn't know how to explain all these secrets and complicated things to him.

"International alliances?'' The face of two hundred and seven didn't change much, but inside him he felt great stir, as he felt the same urge inside Ibro when he was dealing with the Armonian president and diligence. "To what purpose? And what country? This needs a lot of time and many preparations, so I think you came to the right person indeed. but I need time and more data," he said, trying to say thanks, in one word, and asking for more info, in the other word.

"Oh, time, well…" she suddenly paused at the only thing he never put in his mind, time! he said it casually, but when she paused on it, he suddenly felt the graveness of this matter.

"What about time?" he asked, carefully eyeing her again.

"I don't have that much time, we don't have that much time," Oya said, as she sighed a long breath of depression of anxiety out of her body with it.

"We? What do you mean by we?" he suddenly got the focus point here, the main issue that made her this anxious and worried.

"It's us, all of humans, Mr. two hundred and seven," she replied, finally telling what was already weighing her heart.

"All of humans?" he muttered, without much hesitation anymore he added, "I have to meet up with you, in the game better or the real life if you like," he paused a moment before he added, "I need to meet you soon."

She knew he wanted to know more, and she didn't feel any problem telling him more. She was sure no matter how hard she tried to cover things up, time would kick in and reveal the truth to everyone.

She didn't care about the info, all she cared about was to get help and make this world more ready and well protected for Ibro, waiting for the day of his return.

"Let's meet here in the game, come to Ihnasia city and seek the Ihnasia rift. I will leave some NPCs waiting for your arrival at the city, to help guide you to me," she then ignored the stupid look over his face, as she went towards her master and Ela, as she pointed to her screen and added, "this man will come to the city in the next hour, can you spread the word for people to meet him and bring him at once to me?"

The two ladies glanced at two hundred and seven then to her, before her master nodded as she replied:

"No problem, is he that important?"

"He is the key to the necromancer problem," she briefly replied, before looking to two hundred and seven before adding, "come fast and don't be late."

"I will move right away," he hesitated for a moment there, feeling the urge to ask about how the hell did she gain the favor of these NPCs. He finally closed the call, took out a return scroll to Alexandria city, before he tore it into two. his mind was busy thinking about her, he had the impression from the start that she wasn't simple, though she wasn't as dangerous and mysterious as Ibro, but she wasn't any way near a normal or usual player.

Oya then moved with her team towards Ihnasia ridge. Along the way, they met many formidable monsters, leveled above thirty, and they had to avoid them so they wouldn't waste any time with them.

The journey went smoothly for a couple of hours, during which she had real fun joking around with her friends. They were still immersed in the game, the false game of leveling and killing monsters, which made her feel some guilt towards them.

The world they used to know was about to change, and she was one of the reasons for that! she didn't open her mouth and said anything regarding the bitter truth, as she couldn't help herself to see the fear inside their eyes, not yet.

Just as they approached the ridge zone, news came that two hundred and five was catching up from behind, with the guidance of three NPCs that her master assigned to help him reach here safely.

The ridge was a whole grand area of leveling up, formed by mysterious events in the history of the game. it had deep, really deep depressions that made them all feel fear when looked at it. The whole area was lined with land suitable for walking, alternating with deep ridges that go down for no end.

They all stood on the edge of this area, watching many strong looking monsters roaming inside these lands. The weakest monster there was level forty, and they could see level fifty and sixty monsters from time to time.

"Is this the place we are going to level at?" Avada asked with great hesitation and doubt over his face.

His fear was like the others, as this place gave them goosebumps. No player should be here at this early stage of the game, and here they were.

"We have to level up here," Oya said, trying to make them feel more confident as she added, "don't worry, we will be carried along the way with these NPCs."

Her words made them feel more secure, but they were still fearful from these monsters. If just one of these monsters managed to slip past these NPCs, they were doomed.

Just before they would enter the ridge, two hundred and five appeared from far, with three NPCs acting as his personal guard.

His appearance managed to distract everyone from this place, as they started to question the identity of him. no one had ever met him before, and just from the way Oya treated him, they knew he wasn't simple.
