Necromancer Supreme System

Chapter 4: Release System Restriction

This went on for half an hour, during which his armies took the first cave entrance easily, but he didn't order them to enter it yet.

He aimed for the second cave, as if he managed to control both caves now, he would obliterate the current threat over his village, and he could proceed on the underground campaign with ease.

However, his enemy wasn't ready to sit still and do nothing, so the system started to relay some bad news.

'There are many strange shaped monsters coming from far, they aren't from the underground area.'

Ibro suddenly paused as he shifted his divine sense to look away from the battlefield here. he was already couple of kilometers away from the entrance to the second cave, which he would take in less than half an hour if things persisted, but it seemed this small distances were the longest and the hardest for him to take.

Bad things didn't happen solitary, so the system said again before Ibro could grasp the true nature and intentions of the newcomers:

'There are many places where the effect of the runes are fading away, I spotted some strange demons that were absorbing the runes' destructive energy.'

Ibro moved his divine sense at once towards the places where his system was speaking about. As his system said, there were many demons clustered in these areas and were trying to suck away his rune's destructive energy.

'My runes use mainly my ultimatum energy, how on earth can these demons absorb it?'

'Maybe they were ready for you,' the system replied after a moment of pause. Ibro's mind had reached the same conclusion, as all of this had the fingerprints of his enemies from the cultivation world.

He wasn't surprised by their arrangements to counter his cards, but he doubted their ability to consume his ultimatum energy, except…

'These aren't monsters, but fiends, and a high level fiends too.'

'How do you plan to face them?' the system asked.

'I'm not,' Ibro replied simply as he changed his direction and headed straight to one of these groups of fiends. The system was at loss to his move and his reply, so it asked:

'How do you plan to face them?'

'I just told you already, I'm not planning to face them,' Ibro replied before explaining, 'Move them into my pocket space now.'

'…'

The system was shocked by this plan, as it didn't expect Ibro to postpone dealing with these fiends now. In fact, that was a good strategy, although it wouldn't solve these fiends for now, but it would save the day here.

'You want me to move them into a calm free world, right?' the system said to make sure of Ibro's true intentions.

'Of course, we can't allow these high end, difficult to deal with, fiends to roam freely in worlds full of demons and demon gates. Who knows what they can do.'

'Stop approaching them then, I can take all of them now into your world,' the system said as Ibro was moving fast towards these fiends.

'No, you are mistaken. My ability to move things into my pocket space is long known to my enemies, I'm sure they have some solution to stop my ability,' Ibro explained.

'No, this ability can't be guarded against this easily,' the system argued back.

'Then they would weaken it. we won't lose anything by being near them, right?'

'…'

The system didn't comment, as it knew Ibro had a point here. Ibro moved as fast as he could, as this wasn't the only uprising threat in the battlefield, but those rapidly approaching monsters were also a headache to him.

The plan of his enemy was crystal clear in front of his mind, as his enemy would weaken the effect of his runes then the newcomers would take his forces by surprise and prevent them from regaining control over the second cave.

Once Ibro was away from the first group of fiends by less than one hundred meter, he gave the sign to his system to act as he said with haste:

'Start moving them now.'

'Immediately.'

The system didn't delay for even a second, as it started to move the fiends into Ibro's pocket space. Ibro stopped abruptly as he watched carefully this group of a thousand weird shaped fiends, they were all with hunched backs, which started to show some weird vibrations once the system started to use its ability.

'It's as I feared, they are immune to teleportation,' Ibro muttered as in front of him no fiend disappeared, instead their hunched backs began to tremble without pause like an eruption was about to happen, and it did.

The backs of these fiends started to explode one after another, as the energy radiated from them was strangely similar to Ibro's ultimatum energy, but it was a notch higher than his.

'They weren't absorbing my energy, they were storing it to modify and reuse it later,' Ibro muttered calmly as he watched a small dome that resembled his first spell to appear in front of him. he smiled as he muttered:

'They think they can stop me by using my own power? System, release the control over my energies and let my true ultimatum energy to appear once more.'

Ibro was using his ultimatum energy under some restrictions, as the risk of completely unleashing his power was high.

'Are you sure? You might lose your fighting abilities after this,' the system advised against using such a way.

'I know, but don't I have you?' Ibro replied with a big smile on his face.

'What do you mean?' the system asked feigning ignorance.

'C'mon, you have stored a lot of energy a long time ago, use some to replenish mine,' Ibro said it directly, as he knew how shameless his system was.

'Oh, you meant that, well, I really missed Maya, she could have replenished your energy with a soft touch from her,' the system complained, but Ibro ignored his remarks as he said:

'Be ready partner, release my restriction now.'

'…'
