Mysteries of the Earthsea

Chapter 144: Stopped

Charles felt tight in his heart, quickly grabbed Lily, turned over and blocked the sun with his body. "Are you going to die?"

"Mr. Charles, don't worry, I'm fine. The sunlight doesn't seem to harm mice."

"how do you know??"

"It's true, Maomao and they secretly followed you to the woods just now."

Charles heaved a sigh of relief when he saw that none of the mice gnawing at him died.

I don’t know if the structure of mice is different from that of humans in the earth and sea. It seems that sunlight does no harm to these rodents.

"Sure enough, mice and cockroaches are the most adaptable creatures in the world." Charles found the most likely answer.

Lily scratched his claws on Charles's wounds. "Really? It turns out that the mouse is so powerful."

"Yeah, Lily is amazing." Lying on the warm sand, Charles felt a little sleepy, and he closed his eyes in a daze. "Lily, I will sleep first."

I slept very well this time. I didn't do any nightmares. When I woke up, Charles felt clear in his mind.

He found himself buried in the sand. On the sand stood a few crooked little houses, and the clear rat marks on the rooms knew it was Lily's masterpiece.

"Sure enough, I'm still a bear kid." Charles sat up from the sand, and soon found the owner of the sand sculpture not far from his body

Lily in the distance is directing the mice to bury the corpses, and each tombstone has half a branch in it.

"Mr. Charles, can you preside over a funeral for them?" Lily on the sand asked with her head up to Charles who was walking by.

"I won't." Charles finished speaking and took his pocket watch from his arms.

"Don't do this, just say a few words. It's very simple to hold a funeral. My father's hospital often dies. You are standing in front of their cemetery..."

Lily's voice gradually became quieter, and she saw Charles's face, who had a relaxed expression just now, turned grimly. "Mr. Charles, what's the matter with you?"

"Lily, how long have I slept?" Charles, my hand holding the pocket watch trembled slightly.

"It's been almost ten hours, Mr. Charles, is your pocket watch broken? Can't it show the time?"

"Stick!" The pocket watch that slammed into the sand scared Lily and immediately hid beside her companion.

Seeing Charles in front of him cursing hysterically in the language he had heard, the white mouse's eyes were full of worry.

"Jump, do you think Mr. Charles is crazy?" Lily whispered sadly.

The brown mouse beside squeaked twice, and Lily stretched out her paw and slapped it. "You are not allowed to say that to Mr. Charles, how could Charles have been a lunatic?"

Soon Charles' behavior changed from extremely dynamic to extremely quiet, and he lay on the sand and gasped.

looked at the steamship in the dark embarrassingly, Lily leaned forward cautiously. "Mr. Charles, what's the matter with you?"

"Huh!" Charles pounced on both hands with afterimages, and instantly grabbed Lily, his bloodshot eyes staring at it.

"Why is the sun still not setting? Thirteen hours have passed, and it hasn't been dark yet, do you know what this means?"

"Mr. Charles, you hurt me." Pained Lily held Charles's finger with her paw.

"This means that the **** earth has stopped! It means that something big must have happened on the surface! It means that everything has changed on it! It means that even if I can go up, my home is gone!!!" Charles The strength in his hand unconsciously increased a point.

"Hiss!!" The mice swarmed up, gnawing frantically on Char's arm,

Charles dropped the mouse in his hand and froze in place like a sculpture.

Lily fell into the sand and burst into tears. Not only was it painful, but Charles's strange behavior also frightened her.

There was a squeak, and the mice swam toward the Narwhal on the sea holding the crying Lily.

When the other crew members on the ship asked Lily what had happened, Lily choked and complained to them.

Listening to what happened, and then looked at the captain who was motionless on the beach in the distance. The second officer Kenona asked the doctor with some worry: "Ship doctor, is the captain sick?"

The doctor shook his head. He raised his head and took a sip and said, "I don't know. It should not be this symptom that was driven crazy by the voice of the address. Let's see what happens next."

"Can you do it? Did you do this doctor?"

The doctor glared at him, "There is murderous light over there! What do you want me to do? Will you rush to die? Although I am old, I still haven't lived enough!"

Time passed by one minute and one second, and the hearts of the people on the Narwhal began to fluctuate, and everyone's faces were full of anxiety.

The bandage standing in the corner looked at Charles in the distance and walked to the deck gun silently.

"Boom!!" The shell hit a big hole directly on the beach.

Charles on the beach was awakened by the sound of the shells. He looked at the Narwhal and walked down to the sea to swim.

When Charles walked up the ladder to the deck, I don’t know what happened, the crew looked at Charles with a calm face, but they were even more worried.

"Deep, go call the other captains, I have something to announce~www.wuxiaspot.com~ Some disturbed Deep nodded, walked into the cockpit and started to whistle to remind.

"Hey, Charles, what just happened?" The doctor walked over and carefully observed Charles' face.

"it's okay no problem."

Charles went to Lily and knelt down on one knee. "Lily, I'm really sorry, I just hurt you, I apologize to you."

Lily, with teardrops on her furry face, did not respond, and she retracted her whole body into the brown mouse, leaving only one tail outside.

"I'm really sorry, I just noticed that a great disaster has happened in the outside world, and my emotions are a little out of control. Please forgive me."

Hearing this, Lily hurriedly got her head out of the brown mouse and asked worriedly: "Then Mr. Charles, where is your home? Can you still go home?"

Charles reached out to take Lily over, and touched her little head lightly.

"Yeah, I may not be able to go home. But no matter what the above looks like. I want to go up and see if my family is still there, I will do everything possible to find them and rescue them, if..."

When Charles said this, he paused.

"If my family and my home are no longer there, then I will rebuild my new home in the original location!"
