Myriad Realms Store Owner of Harry Potter

Chapter 11 First Contact at Hogwarts Part 2

Wednesday was the time for the first Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Ryan came to the classroom with excitement and came to pay homage to the big boss behind the scenes. Ah no, it's Quirrell, the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor.

Seriously, sitting in the classroom is less than ten meters away from the boss at the bottom of the story. It's an amazing feeling.

The Defence Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts has been famous for being a one-off over the decades. But even so, every year there are hard-headed wizards who come to apply for jobs. This behavior can be seen as why there are so few series of foreigners in the wizarding version.

Therefore, British wizards are not lacking in courage, and the most important thing is that all these professors who are on the street are not low-level. Even Professor Lockhart, who is known as a scumbag, can obtain information from a group of experienced wizards and give them a perfect oblivion spell and never miss it. And another Umbridge, not to mention his political skills to drive Dumbledore away. Just look at her quill and you'll know how high she is in black magic.

Among the remaining professors, there was Lupin, who had been with the wolf crowd for many years, but was not killed by the hostile werewolves. The greatest double agent, Professor Snape. Little Crouch who could hide from Dumbledore's nose for a year. Even the Death Eater professor, Amycus Carrow, who was carefully selected by Voldemort in the seventh grade. All can be called the elite of the elite.

It's just that Voldemort's curse was too powerful back then. In the end, the only survivors of these professors were the crazy Lockhart and Umbridge who made their home in prison.

And this year's professor Quirrell was always famous for being a top student when he was in school, not to mention that he upgraded to Quirrell-Voldemort fusion professor after adding an attachment to the back of his head.

It's a pity that something might have gone wrong when they merged, and Professor Quirrell didn't show the characteristics of a powerful alliance at all. The classroom he taught was full of garlic, and in addition to studying, the class was bragging about adventures that couldn't be justified.

Ryan guessed Quirrell was trying to hide himself from Dumbledore's sight. But to be honest, it is easier for people to find abnormalities in this situation that has changed a lot compared to usual. It seems that sometimes if two brains are incompatible together, the IQ may not be as good as one brain.

After nearly a week of study, it was Friday, the potions class time that Gryffindor students feared most.

Potions class is taught in a basement classroom. This place is cooler than the main castle building above, and there are glass jars of soaking taxidermy placed along the wall. No matter how you look at it, it looks like the lair of the legendary evil wizard, and many students are shivering with fear.

After the class, Professor Snape slipped Harry Potter out for a solo practice after reading the famous opening remarks. Ryan watched this famous scene in the movie, and what he thought of was the father's debt repayment. It really is a common law in the East and the West.

After bashing Harry and making excuses to take a point, Snape started dividing everyone into pairs. Instruct them to mix and concoct a simple potion for scabies.

Unfortunately, because of the initials of the surname, Ryan was assigned to the group with Neville Longbottom. This made him not only have to finish the work of preparing the potion seriously, but also hope that Longbottom would not let him get into trouble.

Thankfully, Longbottom is just a little clumsy and lacks confidence. But do things very seriously. It does a good job of weighing dried nettles and crushing snake fangs according to the steps in the book.

Professor Snape walked around the classroom, and when Ryan's group was cooking slugs with tentacles, Snape criticized them for not having enough heat.

Just as Ryan heard Snape praise Malfoy for the perfect way to cook a tentacled slug, and craned his neck to try to learn Malfoy's operation. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Neville putting the porcupine thorn into the cauldron.

Ryan was shocked and grabbed Neville's arm,

Neville looked at Ryan with puzzled eyes.

Lane whispered: "It's not written on the blackboard that the porcupine thorns can only be placed after the pot is lifted from the fire."

Neville opened his mouth slightly in surprise, as if he had forgotten about this.

The system also missed the opportunity to jump out:

——The owner prevents the Neville Fryer event from happening, and gains 1 offset point.

Professor Snape emerged silently from behind, and then he spun around Harry and Ron at the next table, "Potter, why didn't you tell him not to add the porcupine thorn? You thought he was out It's a mistake to show how are you? Gryffindor lost a point because of you." It seems that Professor Snape has an unforgettable hatred for James Potter.

An hour later, when the class was over and everyone turned in the potions, Ryan found that Snape had written an a on his potion label. Well, long live the pass.

After going out of the classroom, Neville kept thanking Ryan, because this was one of the rare cases where he could make a qualified potion without blowing up the cauldron and being injured. Ryan felt that Neville's operation was not that bad, but that Professor Snape put too much pressure on everyone. Even if he was an adult soul, when Professor Snape walked by, he still felt his hair stand on end, not to mention the impact on Neville, a boy who was usually not timid.

At this moment Harry and Ron came over from behind, and Neville stepped forward and said to them, "I'm sorry that you got points off this time." Harry smiled, but didn't speak. Ron waved his hand beside him and said, "It's okay, it's not your fault. We already knew Snape wasn't a reasonable person."

Potions class is on a Friday, so the first week of classes is over after Potions class is over. There is no class in the afternoon. After lunch, Ryan took all the school supplies and went to the library to prepare for the weekend homework. After all, it was easier to do homework in advance and then play happily than to rush for homework at the last minute.

After arriving at the library, Hermione was already sitting there. Ryan said hello and began to sit on the edge and do his homework. To be honest, Ryan in his previous life was a student. He has always been a supporter and practitioner of the theory that scores are enough.

In this life, after receiving the letter from the owl, he planned to touch the fish for seven years. But I didn't expect to go to Hogwarts with my primary school classmates. In order to avoid a sudden drop in grades and cause suspicion; and to avoid being stared at by acquaintances with contempt or even written in a letter to be known by my parents, Ryan can only put most of the time spent on learning.

This kind of life reminds him of the college entrance examination preparation in his previous life, which is not a good memory. But every time he thinks that power is supreme in the magic world, and knowledge is power, Ryan feels that learning is less tiring.

At dinner time, the two of them finished most of their homework, and then went to the auditorium to eat together with their schoolbags. This reminds Ryan of the time when he went home with his classmates with his schoolbag on his back from elementary school.

"It feels good to be young." Ryan, who was a 30-year-old man at heart, said silently.
