My Unique Goddess: AZALEA

The people in Shin's Tower are in chaos right now, everybody is trying to meet their deadlines that suppose to be done for tomorrow. The CEO is in his anger mode again and he is venting everything in work.

Trey was so stressed with this tornado work again he needs to see his cousin right away.

"What's going on?..... Your kingdom is in chaos again". He ask him as soon as he opened Jack's door.

He just looked at him then continue his work.

"Did you fight again." He saw Jack's hand curved into a fist. 'Yap, they did.' he thought.

"Damn that tiny creature." he pound the table.

"OK, what happened?.... Oh wait, she didn't call you old again this time, right?". He look at his seriousness.

"Do you know what that tiny creature told me?".

"What?".

"She said, she feels sorry for herself because she was married to me!". Jack shouted out the last word.

"OK, and?.."

"She should be thankful that I marry her, because no one is going to!" He is gritting his teeth out of anger. "She's a nerd who dress like an old maid and she is short with a big head." He is reciting all the bad qualities he sees in her. Then he almost scream in front of Trey, he wants to release some tension on his nerves.

Trey is just nodding while his arms are crossed in his chest. He looks like a therapist in this situation.

"Didn't she knows that a lot of women are throwing theirselves at me and all of them wants to marry me, and she will just tell me, she was sorry to herself because she marry me. How ridiculous!". Jack's face is so red, his very irritated.

"Can you calm down a little bit, did you say something to offend her?".

Jack paused for a minute. He was thinking about their conversation last night and he remembered that he was trying to irritate her to get even, the only problem is it fired back at him.

Trey didn't wait for Jack's reply. "Hey man, I think you're just stressing yourself out. You haven't been married in a month but you keep on clashing with each other. If I were you, I'll put some boundaries in every conversation you'll going to have in the future."

"I don't know, I just can't stand her, that's all."

"Then ignore her."

"I tried, it's just that I...." Jack don't really know what he wants to say. For honesty's sake he like the way she talks back at him with her witty remarks. He feels alive whenever they clash with each other. 'I think I'm going crazy'. But he won't admit it to Trey.

"How about if I talk to her." Trey suggested it.

Trey just shake his head. Ever since he got married to Azalea he became restless. Before with Sue he never care whatever she does as long as she's with him.

"By the way, Riff DePinault is in town." Jack talks like he's just an ordinary guy.

Trey brows arc. His one of Sue's dream guy he even saw her drooling while looking at him in a photo shoot for most eligible bachelor which his cousin turned down. Jack's girlfriend have a lot of dream guy in her head she even tell it to everyone, she always take his cousin for granted because she knows that his cousin is head over heels in love with her. She didn't even care what his cousin may feel while she's blubbering all her nonsense about other man, what a bitch.

"She's in to my wife."

Trey was stunned. 'Did I hear it right she acknowledged Azalea as his wife already not an alleged wife?'. He just bit his tongue. He smell something fishy about this two. Now his having a theory and he wants to prove it. 'This is going to be fun.' the corner of his lips curve upward.

"I want you to look into it. I want to find out where they met and how?". He's saying this without looking at Trey. "She's going to see him today, find out where."

"On to it." Trey left him with a meaningful grin.

"My cousin is starting to get interested in her. That means I'm about to see a good show in the future." he was talking to himself while walking out of Jack's office.

On Azalea's side.

She barge in to Lindy's house and started to pour her racking emotions.

"I can't believe he can be so mean." Azalea spill out what's in her mind in an instant.

Lindy look at her emotionless. "Hello to you too." She's mocking her grand entrance and went back to reading her fashion magazine.

"How can he just told me that no one will going to marry me because I have a bad attitude, I mean Camilla is worst than me right but she's going to marry Griffin." her face is beaming red with anger.

"Tell me honestly, am I really the worst person you've met?"

"Nope!". Lindy answered with disinterest.

"Yes, of course I'm not, I tried to think about others before myself."

"Yes, you do."

"Who the hell he think he is, he doesn't even know me well to judge me like that."

"Yup!".

Azalea look at her friend, she looks busy reading a magazine. "Are you even listening to me?".

"Am I not answering your questions right?". She took a glanced at her.

Azalea's forehead wrinkled.

"Look". She closed the magazine and looked at her. "Why are you stressing yourself over a petty quarrel like that, you used to be a... I don't care person before". She's even using her fingers like quoting the words she said. "But now you're giving too much energy in your alleged husband's petty remarks?". Lindy is very serious this time, she don't want a feelings to sprout between this two. Her cousin is still looking forward to be with her.

Azalea became silent. Even she don't know why Jack affects her system in a disturbing way. She can tolerate any harsh or under the belt remarks of anyone but when it comes to him even a slightest foul remarks ignites her anger.

Her phone ring and disturb her thoughts. She took her phone out and a unregistered number is calling. "Hello." A smooth voice of a man pierce her ear when she answered her phone.

"I was waiting for your call." it's Riff.

"Yeah, I was going to call you but you seems to beat me in it". She is biting her lips she just remembered about the call she promised. She totally forgot about him.

"Or did you forgot". Riff is teasing her.

"Yes, I did, I'm so sorry". It was a sincere apology that comes from her heart. She made a promise and she almost couldn't keep it. It's not like her at all.

Riff was amazed by her honesty. A woman who totally forgot about him, this is the first he thought. Didn't he gave her a good impression of him?. He is known in any circle and all the women he met throw themselves at him but this little woman, she totally forgot all about him. His lips is widen with a smile.

"Why did you call?". Azalea breaks the silence. He seems to became quiet all of a sudden.

"Well about today, I want to ask you out but an urgent meeting came in." He's a bit hesitant most woman he know are clingy he doesn't want to ruin his good impression.

"Oh, don't worry about it. I'm good. Just do your thing, don't let me hold you down." She's smiling so wide and thanking the God for making him a very busy person. She can't handle him today.

"Are you sure?". He feels a bit disappointed. If she ask for him to come he'll drop everything just to be with her but she didn't.

"Of course, I know how important your work is, why don't you just finish everything you need to do then let's talk about it again some other time." She is pleased, lady luck is in her side right now.

Riff can't believe what he is hearing right now. She sounds like she is willing to wait for his free time. She's not the clingy type." You are so perfect." He was so happy to meet her.

Azalea don't know what he means by being perfect she just shrug her shoulder and wait till Riff said goodbye.

'He's weird.' The only thought she had on him.

Lindy is just looking at her. She knows who called her. 'My cousin's chance is getting slim'. She just shook her head.
