After accompanying her mother, she received a call from Ji Liunian. She looked at the phone display and her heart skipped a beat.

Ji Liunian looked at Xu Zhiyin with a cold face. "Chu Xia lost her baby."

"I got to know from the doctor just now." When she arrived at the hospital just now, Dr. Zhang had informed her that Chu Xia's baby couldn't be saved.

Xu Zhiyin thought of herself as an evil woman because that moment, she felt Chu Xia deserved it.

She signed and did all the follow-up procedures before leaving the hospital.

Xu Zhiyin had always been a person with high pride. She was afraid everyone in the hospital would know the relationship between Chu Xia and Ji Liunian. By that time, the entire hospital would know the consequence of her marrying Ji Liunian and she would become the laughing stock of everyone in the hospital.

When she walked out of the hospital, the sun was setting in the west. She stood by the roadside looking at the cars dashed by.

She stood there until two cars stopped in front of her, "Dr. Xu."

The first person who got down was Qiao. He opened the door responsibly and down came Gu Nantian.

The minute Gu Nantian got down from the car, many pedestrians stopped to look at him.

Gu Nantian walked closer to her and his voice was serious, "Dr. Xu, you've broken your promise."

Xu Zhiyin clenched his teeth, "Why are you here? Are you trying to create trouble for me?"

"You said you will return in the afternoon, but now? It's getting dark."

"Big brother, it's 6 pm, how is it dark? Are you kidding me?"

Although she did not have the intention to return to Gu Nantian's house, she said it in a bold manner.
